Here is the quickest way to get the achievements. First play enough songs until you have enough money to watch "No More Dead" at the garage (it is the shortest song). Once you have learned this song keep on playing it at the garage until you have 500 dollars and at least 100 people (you only have to play one song and you still earn the same amount of money and fans) . This ensures that you can continue playing at the bar. Keep playing at the bar until you get the earn $5000 dollar achievement. Then you will have enough money to play and learn the rest of the songs for the other achievement. Hope this helps.

Now, the transitional problems occur when y'all are moving from one fret to another. There are two reasons you might be doing this: to play a chunck of the song on a different fret, or to set up a progression (such as top fret 3, top fret 6, top fret 4, top fret 7) which you repeat multiple times. I haven't seen any progressions, and as they have failed horribly for me and I have yet to see them work, this is prolly a good thing. Now, for playing part of the song on a different fret: either leave the bottom guitar playing on the orriginal fret (setting up a fret combination), use an FX/Bridge deal (R/Q riffs on guitars work well), or, if you aren't moving very far, play a short piece (one section long) on each fret between your starting and ending points. Transitions can be almost anything, so don't limit yourself with what I'm saying, just don't, under any circumstances, switch without warning to a second ot seventh for a while.

Firsts, Thirds, Fifths, Fourths and Sixths sound good. Seconds and sevenths sound bad...very bad. Now, to determine the note that your choosing in POM2, click the riff selector. You should see the letters A and E on the left, each one marking a horizontal line of frets. Each fret moves 1 down the scale. So on the A line of frets (or A string), the far, far left (left of the thick vertical bar) is A. Right of that is B, then C, D, E, F, G, etc. On the bottom you've got E on the far left, then F, G, A, B, C, D, etc. So, determine what two notes you are using, and make sure the interval will sound good. This applies primarily when you are playing two riffs from different frets.

Well, I've checked out a few of the songs from the comments, and to the average creator, I have a few comments. First off, my left ear hurts. Secondly, the songs are reasonably good, except for bad chords and OK transitions. For Chords: there are 7 notes in the scale: A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. The scale loops, so it looks like: ABCDEFGABCDEFGABCDEFG. Easy. Now, there are combinations of these notes that sound good, and combinations of these notes that sound bad. First, a note on intervals: there are firsts, seconds, thirds, fourths, etc. a first is two of a single note. A second is a note, and the one immediately after or before it on the scale. A third is a note, and the on two places to the right or left of it on the scale. In general, when deciding what interval you have, count notes on the scale, starting with first note of the interval, and ending with the last. So if you have an A and an E, then you count: A, B, C, D, E, which is 5 notes, so its a fifth.

i love this game, its just too awesome. Huge add on from punk o matic 1. Unfortunetely, people tend to only talk about the negative, even when there are so many good things that they may have asked for in another game. Well, let me tell you what i liked about this game: graphics, music (duh), story events idea, humor, character settings, hotkeys, help/easy to understand, "get tabs" function, the proccess of unlocking cover songs, code share/load, symbolizing of riffs/notes, adding a "free mode", and the originality of the circle concept.

The circle control thing makes this almost impossible for me to play, I mean, just... no... I can't even get through the practice on one song. I bet other people love it and find it a great concept but no... I can't even bring myself to try another time. I give up.

Personally I would prefer a control system other than the circle, but really its not that hard to get the hang of, takes practice just like playing a real instrument. Please make another I really enjoyed this game. More customization options and more expensive things would be a nice touch too. Gives it that much more to work for other than the really funny clips Keep it up!
