"The car has tinted glass, we do not have a visual on the driver..." Pretty funny, since by then I'd already punched out my windshield...

I wish to see some friendly fire amongst the opponents. Like zombies chasing civilians, army killing zombies, helis and explosions smashing everything in their way.... that would add nice "a city in a war" feeling.

United States Armed Forces Zombie Apocalypse Counter-Measure Strategy: 1.) A civilian car leaving quarantine deserves the highest attention, more so than actual zombies 2.) Do not shoot at zombies, instead, hide behind stuff and wait for civilian car 3.) Only shoot straight down the road. Run directly in front of approaching vehicles to shoot them. If possible, cling yourself on the hood and shoot the driver while he speeds down a highway full of debris and zombies, its totally safe 4.) Helicopters must fly backwards facing the front of the target 5.) Prioritize single cars over cluttered zombie masses when carpet bombing 6.) Do no operate military vehicles, just park them in the general area and leave enough space between them for a vehicle to potentially pass through

For those of you still playing, the order of checkpoints are Evans City, Red Ridge, Burgony Street, Central City, Down Town, Chinatown, Brighton Square, North Side Park, West Ridge, and lastly Tunnel Drive (race to the end).
Brighton Square is the hardest level. Get past that and you're good to go.

Soldier: Sir, shouldn't we kill the zombies who are swarming us as we speak?
General: No, they aren't hurting anyone. But you need to kill the man in the one car that still functions even though he is trying to avoid hitting anything that is still human.

What I don't understand is how was the army keeping zombies out if once you go past the checkpoint there are more zombies?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think the army guys have a pretty good reason to kill me. After all, I keep getting shot, burned, injured, crash and explode, yet I continue on my journey. I might just be a zombie.

Perfect. A zombie survival driving game. The best part; using the windshield wipers to clear the blood off the glass.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ok, to those that want to see a progress bar: there is one right underneath the speedometer, the white arrow being you, the red marking being the military checkpoint. + if this helped you
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Jeez- With the amount of military force they used against you, one single human, they could have killed every damn zombie on the face of the planet! xD

Now I'm wondering why, with all the abandoned cars in the road, why does a civilian not get in one of the cars, instead of aimlessly running around? 5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hmmm, my windshield is gone, and I'm caked in a heavy layer of zombie blood up and down my arms, but nooooooo, can't punch zombies, too high of a risk for infection :P

I hate how when you try to get the signs to hit the helicopter there is ALWAYS a car that you have to avoid or else you will take even more damage.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What!? I heard someone shout: How can you just leave us like this!? so i stopped for the man shouting, but he just ran past the car? he was all like: Nah, ill walk.

There's something oddly freeing about about having your tires popped, because then most of the time when you hit stuff it's not your fault, and spike strips are meaningless. It is odd that oil slicks are still a problem though.

It says the last bumper upgrade will stop all small objects but not abandoned cars...
So does the Smart count as a small object or an abandoned car?

Every civilian: "Oh no, a zombie apocalypse! Lets go out onto the highway, park our cars, and run around in the middle of the street!!!"

I'm guessing the radio can't be heard by the driver. He acts surprised when he sees a helicopter despite constantly hearing "Hellfire, shoot him down" or whatever. It's likely "the player knows something the character doesn't"

this is a very interesting turn on flash gaming; few developers find new ways to utilize flash into things like this and I must say that I am fairly impressed. The only thing that I would appreciate is a pause button and this game would be perfect.
Another thing that would make this game better is a sequel with updates. Not just a pause button, but special zombies and some stuff that other people had said (like zombies chasing civilians, friendly fire, etc).
Aside from that, awesome game EvilDog; I applaud you. :]

i actually love listening to all of the background talk with the epic music when you are upgrading your car. they have minutes upon minutes of realistic dialouge. It sounds really eerie at times, or chaotic, or even cocky. give it a try and just listen to the audio content while you are upgrading you car.

Looks like driving in Italy. With the hand on your horn you make your way through crowded streets, hoping that no civilian runs in front of your bumper, because this means point deduction.

Think about it. The city's being quarantined to stop the spread of the infection. You're driving in a car literally COVERED in infected blood and organ matter. No wonder they want to stop you: You're the person who quite possibly infects the rest of the world.

Great game. My only problem is the crashing system.. You crash into a vehicle, and it sends you flying directly left or right, rather than forward and into the vehicle you crashed into. You can't squeeze in between two cars, cause if you barely touch one, you'll go flying left or right.. instead of the cars moving out of your way and you slowing down. 4/5. Would be 5/5 if this was fixed.

you cant punch zombies for fear of infection, but you can drive through them with no windshield, splattering blood all over you

Guide for destroying choppers: 1. Upgrade your body armor as high as you can. Windshield isn't as useful, because it will probably break anyway. 2. As soon as you hear something like "Hellfire to base, target is in sight!", start driving below the highway signs. The chopper spawns behind you, so if you're lucky it will hit the first sign. 3. Stay in the middle of the road after the last sign, drive to the left/right when the next sign comes closer. This will let you dodge bullets. 4. Drive into the walls when trying to attract the chopper to the sign. Driving into the wall let's you dodge some extra bullets. 5. Upgrade the engine if you have cash left. This will decrease the time between signs. +1 to keep visible
