The voicework for this game aged amazingly. The radio communication dialog is so over-the-top and yet so well-done that you kind of just believe it really is you driving through their soldiers and taking down their helicopters. Also, this mechanic driver guy is awesome.

I tried to have 15 seconds to spare, but could only get 10.5 seconds or so. The last two minutes is easier than the area before. Both carpet bombings and jets at the same time, with bomb squads and mutants, and finally all those military vehicles.

protip: remap movement to the arrow keys so you can use both hands and have a dedicated finger for each function. Definitely helped me with the second hard badge.

why would the whole goddamn army is going after this one dude? cant they just let him in and kill him inside theyre base instead?? they even need a ton of choppers nor explosives just to kill one guy

Umm I'm not a expert in the subject but I'm pretty darn sure that crashing with another car should not make me bounce into another XD
Awesome game , not a lot like this around even today.

EvilDog and Sickdeathfiend : *makes a legendary flash game*
Also EvilDog and Sickdeathfiend : *gives soldiers aimbot and wallhack to an extent, therefore breaking the game*
Overall, this game is friggin' legendary. Though the soldiers have aimbot and wallhacks, the game gives me just enough time to think of a plan to avoid helicopters and stuff. 9/10 Would destroy choppers again.

I know how he upgrades his car from within his garage. He doesn't drag it all the way back, then out into the middle of the road miles away. RP doesn't stand for "Road Points", but rather... "Retcon Points"

who would win? A whole fricking army with guns, spike strips, jets, helichoppers, and a nuke or one drunk car mechanic?

Best strategy advice ever from 'slavsquat69'. For the Dead on Time Hard Badge. The hand brake is revolutionary, I hadn t been using it till I red him, and I actually stopped using the normal brake after, too. And the zoom idea makes all of it... had forgotten about that part of the strategy. Once I filled my screen with it, 1st and 2nd try got me to 8km, then the 3rd try to 13km, with that insane chopper coming around 12km... thanks dude!

great game ! great atmosphere, great gameplay, great storytelling, and good music too !
the gameplay is original, mixing driving and escaping the zombies.
Some points may be weird, but find a logic according to the end,(and the logic of a zombie outbreak, like one escapee can infest a whole new city over time) and to the gameplay needs (otherwise you dont see helicopter coming and they just destroy you from behind, without seeing them, or a chance to dodge or to destroy them)
And you know, making a game is a hard and long work, i'm actually glad the developper made it for our fun, than complaining on few lacks or details that seems weird.
It may takes dozens or hundreds of hours to learn how to code, write ideas, code it, test, polish it, make drawings, animations, gameplay, menu... a lot of things, probably by one person or a small team, with no garanty of success or recognition by the audience

Nothing left to upgrade. Can't make it to downtown. I tried repeatedly but failed. Going to just ride out on the highway to a pack of feeding zombies, blow out the windshield and wait for the undead to add me to their ranks. They win. If you can't beat them join them. Goodbye cruel world.

Hey you, moron with the stop strips, I hope that zombie I was shaking off the hood, while you were trying to stop me, bit your butt!!

This is a really great game, because 1 I like the part the you can control the car and what the person does, but in future updates i would really like more upgrade options for the car.

Worries guy driving car is a zombie - because zombies can drive cars. Uses the element of surprise - "hides" in plain sight. Complains about tactics not working - keeps using them. 5/5 would use to protect city again.

Whats wrong with the civilians on Dead on Time?! they are like
"Hey lets hide behind this car and lets go out screaming when hes driving near us" damnit

are you supposed to have this weird viewing angle where it looks like you can only see the upper left quadrant of a normal viewing angle?

The soldiers are shooting PINS instead of bullets, because if i would shoot a gun loaded with bullets, then a window would shatter IMMIDIETLY.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it would be awesome if while speeding down the highway with all the explosions and stuff, that a sick metal riff would start going off while dodgin' everything and rammin' all the zombies down

i get it that the zombies are invulnerable to radiation or whatever but wouldnt that nuke have incinerated a few million of them though?

This is Garbage Why am i seeing from that point of view, i cant see where the other vehicles are either because i don't even know how big my vehicle is to weave others- this seems like the worst game on kong to me, pure shit

so, thinking of this now, the characters of "Road of the dead 2" had to use multiple rounds to kill an infected on their car, especially mutants. However, the protagonist of the first game (AKA this one) only has to use a single round. So, MY theory is that he's most likely using more powerful rounds, like .357 Magnum.
