I feel like im destroying empires by stealing their stars and turning them on dyson spheres, while they freeze to death on dark cold starless galaxies.

It took me a while to understand how to attack other civs. If we already have the spoil of their names, we should also be able to see the distance

Thanks @
Dinictis the greyed-out switches make sense to me now. If I switch off enough consumers, the supplier can be switched off too. @
KillerCodeMonky When I turn off production, I was allowed to turn the consumers back on, and started using stockpiles instead.

I don't understand why I can stockpile a resource, but yet I can't utilize that stockpile to consume more than I produce? Very weird design choice that makes the game feel very flat and constrained. There is only one strategy: Produce. All of it, all the things... Just produce.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
power switches are greyed out when if you switch off that type, the production of the resource would go negative (because it's being consumed by something else)

Fun incremental game that follows all the rules of the genre. It could be more engaging with more prose, story, and interesting challenges. One thing I'm curious about is the machines power switches are sometimes greyed out; is that a bug or part of the design? It would be helpful to switch off a bunch of obsolete machines to make room for the more efficient new stuff.

Not sure if you figured out your fuel problem. Some items have material cost and consumption cost. material cost is just a flat cost to make. consumption cost is a steady consumption of a resource. with fuel, you have to have at least a production of at least 20 carbon/s and 20 oil/s per unit.

I returned back to this game to finish it.
Updates from my last comment: Apparently the cost of parts resets when you build a part of the sphere and the number of parts returns to zero. Very important thing to know.
The swarm requires roughly 3.69x the resources that a ring requires, but the amount of Dark Matter you get from rings versus dark matter makes it better to build many rings and ignore swarms (You average 5.54DM for the resources by buying the rings versus 5DM for the resources buying the swarm). This also assumes that you at a stage where the energy differential between the two parts is irrelevant.
No idea if it was intended but when you prestige after you buy the antimatter titan, the required antimatter to get to other solar systems continues to reduce by 90% each time you perform an additional prestige.

mercury is a planet rich with natural resources, 20x the sulfur density as earth, massive titanium and iron deposits. This is likely because Mercury used to be larger, and its densest materials sedimented to the core leaving the less dense silicates in the crust, but then a collision stripped it of its crust and most of its mantle, leaving the resource rich outer core exposed.

I just beat the game and became the overlord, its a great idle game but a few things need to be tweaked, 1 science upgrades are useless after a few dark matter upgrades because the bonus is additive rather than multiplicative. 2 remove meteorite from the overlord statue requirements (its the only ones ive not built) 3 there is not enough enlightenment upgrades (i only enlightened twice for all upgrades) 4 fix the end of the game, it feels unfinished (give us a choice to actually learn he's secrets not just stab him in the back) and 5 the storage requirements are a nightmare even on auto, there should just be a total resource storage upgrade that governs all resources.

We need a way to tag resources, that allow tracking of them, and faster access to them. Or maybe a way to "hide" certain resources?

Only been playing this for an hour and I can tell you that the Production / Consumption page needs a MAJOR overhaul - you should be able to see everything without scrolling and graphs need to be present, +/-, Reds and Greens, etc. You also should have a Massive Progress Bar page, as well.

It's quite a slog to finally unlock rebirth. Some tips... save enough DM to afford all the upgrades and ~400% energy boost. Don't bother progressing the story just yet, rebirth a 2nd time to boost the dyson resources, fuel and energy. Then progress story and enlighten to afford titans for those resources + antimatter.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the resource cap requiring all resources spent to upgrade is antithetical to an idle game, without it this game would be among the best as the rest is soo good

Finished the game! It is a fun game, although the clicking was painful so I installed an auto-clocker. As for strategy, first, I focused on raising the DM Boosts for Meteorite, Titanium, Ice, Silicon, and gold (Things you need to buy Dyson). This helped me get a lot of Dark matter. After that, I focused solely on Electricity and then Meteorite. I raised my electricity boost to 173K and meteorite to 100K. Probably could beat the game with less DM Boosts spent, but getting DM was so fast that I was like why not. Why electricity? You can convert it to everything else except Meteorite, Fuel and Antimatter. Also raised antimatter boost to 10K. With using sphere you generate so much electricity that by converting can easily raise any substance to 1-10T. My last run where I got to meet the god took just couple of hours thanks to these stats. Funny thing, I never enlightened! Thought will loose too much Boost points.

To answer myself, enlightening doesn't give DM, only Ultrite. Achievements are nice but you get most of your Dark Matter from Dyson swarms. Rings give less so once you can build swarms concentrate on those. Sphere pays you 100DM but every swarm gets 5DM and only the sky's the limit.

I've (mostly) figured out achievements!
The first row, with the "resources" icon, is either based off how much of the given resource you've created OR the max storage size.
The T1, T2, etc. rows are based on how MANY of that resource generator you have (25, 50, etc.). So ultimately, to get all of the achievements you need 250 of every resource generator during the given run. And since the number of achievements directly impacts how much Dark Matter you get during rebirth, buying a lot of each resource generator is definitely a priority.

MEETING WITH THE OVERLORD
With your immense power, you decide to make a fatal move. Focusing the power of the galaxy you now control, you launch one single attack against the overlord you’ve worked for all this time. It is time. The end. Caught by surprise, the overlord is quickly defeated in a flurry of destruction.
You now look back across your realm, pure energy coursing through your veins. You feel supernatural. As the new overlord, it is your duty to care for and oversee the domain under your control, protecting the order within the dimension. You see a tiny person, living their humble beginnings on a tiny planet and decide to give them a helping hand. They wish to start their own new company. An NG Space Company!

If anyone wants to disable accidently highlighting text in this game do this. Open browser devtools (f12 in chrome). In the console paste this and press enter, document.getElementById('game').style.userSelect = 'none'

it was good to the moment when - GAME DOES NOT SAVE - all outer solar system an wonder station exploration is lost - SAVE IS NOT EXPORTING / IMPORTING - as it was in PC games in 90's - that function is lost - AND THE GAME IS NOT PLAYABLE ANYMORE [after three (3) days]

To build a production building you need to have the needed resources. For chemical plant: metal, gem and wood resources. Game shows the amount you need. You ALSO need whatever a building consumes, one chemical plant consumes 20 carbon and 20 oil per second, so you need to have at least +20 production of those. Many buildings consume energy but chemical plants don't need it. Unless you have all the resources and necessary production you can't build it.

The orange thing is the dyson sphere. Seems very hard to reach in the beginning, but as soon as you start getting rings, it gets easier and easier.
Once rebirthed, you can buy an upgrade that decreases storage upgrade costs

They hotfixed the negative-income-exploit. But now you cant disable producers even when you have a full storage. Can you throttle/disable buildings when the storage is full or empty, in the next patch?

The game is not very well thought out, as a significant bug is present and can be easily abused. Simply put, when a resource reaches 0... nothing happens, and all the machines that use that resource continue to operate as if they have the required resources. The best example of this is with energy because you need to have 'positive' energy to make more machines. By turning off the machines that require energy, they don't consume the required 'positive' energy to craft another machine. After crafting 10 machines, even if you only have enough energy to supply one of them, all of them start to operate, completely breaking the game.

I want to be complimentary of the game. But... It's definitely not an Idle game, the storage part of the game is tedious and the lack of high scores or achievements, means less incentive to carry on. I love the concept of the game, but it's definitely lacking something that would make me want to keep coming back to it. Will wait on giving it a rating until i've got a bit further, but suspect it will be a 3 at the moment.

"Starship can travel to Stars in the Milky Way, but cannot land on objects within the systems." So why do we need to construct aerodynamic sections "These allow for easy takeoffs and landings out of atmospheres..." if the ship can't land?
The fleet ship classes are wrong, corvettes are smaller than frigates. Please switch the two names.
