I think meeting a red nerve strain is a bit too potentially destructive in the way it's random. This can cause you to land in a situation which you've already lost while being out of your control. Perhaps a powerup of sorts that you can collect which would allow you to overtake a red cell once. After that you would need to find the powerup again. Maybe even stackable, though I think just one would be ideal to keep the challenge in.

I think it would be amazing if this game could somehow reflect which nerves in your brain are most active by analyzing how you grow your nerve!! =D

I'd like to see some sort of ability to take over the red neuron. Perhaps some way to attack the starting spot for it and you'll be boosted through it's selected neuron path? Just my idea.

This should be part of a bigger game as to determine an upgrade or something. It's a nice game, but doesn't get appreciated because we don't play for anything, no awesome upgrades or nothing. And since the awesome upgrades defeat the purpose of this game... I'd figure to put it as a game in a game to help you win or upgrade skills since it's brain relative.

I clicked on the link at the end when it said "You grew a {whatever}" It took me to a Wikipedia article. The first paragraph said:

...That's great. Good to know this kind of learning is accessible for everyone.

Mathmos, the same happened with me, but it was on a different case. I just got the last cell to the yellow combo, them when it stoped going up, there was no more cells, then the game freezed and i just losed. WTF?!

if you land on the fourth yellow in a combo at the same time as a red neurone the game freezes and you die. and that happened 100,000. 4/5 for that.

you can do a multiplayer so you have to compete with other 3 neurons to be the largest one an win. + is you want multiplayer

Great game! I think it could be expanded to include more specialized neuron types, eg an interneuron level where you are supposed to make more local connections. However, I must complain that my scores aren't getting me anywhere near the high score table, which leads me to question (once again) why I got this PhD in Neurobiology.
