how to beat russia pretty well: rush through romania to the rostov and chechnya, securing your income, meanwhile spam tanks in berlin because the russians WILL naval invade there with 20+ tanks. Once you beat their naval invasion (you will need at least 15 tanks in berlin, and bunker card helps), they will have almost no units left, from where you want to focus on sniping leningrad, moscow, kirov, and stalingrad as soon as possible, and killing the few infantry you have left. The only places you should defend until their big naval invasion fails are rostov, chechnya and berlin, with berlin being the most important. also, make sure to only produce tanks, because even though artillery is supposed to counter them, one tank can easily take out 3-4 artillery pieces

Secret to beating Russians. You have to go on the offensive and use buy as many strategies as you can. Strategic Bombing takes their money and Air Strikes when they have a bunch of tanks together does the trick.

Easy way to beat Russia. Let them attack the neutral to drain their starting army, then rush the south oil fields for the income.

Good game but god damn is the second Campaign level impossible, I tried it 4 or 5 times, every time Russia just built an army of over 30 tanks and stomped me, I couldn't even take Leningrad ffs, I tried to build my army up over 10 turns, no change, I think of myself as a pretty good strategist but no amount of strategy can win an unwinnable scenario.

you can and should take the Baltic in the first round of play (even if you have to send all your men there that are on the coast), then you don't have to worry about the Russians cheating in reinforcing troops there (I don't know if it does that)

Seems like it has potential but for the already stated overpowered troops and endless supply of cash the Russian have. Also I saw Russia "Reinforcing" troops in the Baltic(and other places) when there were no troops adjacent to those places. Air dropped?

I just finished the campaign, here are some tips
1: don't invade neutral counties, if you let Russia attack the neutral countries they will weaken themselves alowing you to invade Russia
2: you can't beat Russia in a fair fight so don't fight fair - once Russia invades the neutral countries, it will not have enough men to defend the lower part of the map, only attack undefended provinces, split your armies as small as you can and let the Russians chase your tail as you move to another region, this is best done with infantry
3: keep the Baltic sea - you can take the Baltic just by attacking it with your infantry in the north German regions, then keep it by recruiting infantry in Berlin and sending them into the Baltic, then Russia will send its tanks and artillery to there from Leningrad, this will keep Berlin safe
4: if you have to fight, use artillery - as the Russians lack infantry they are weak to artillery

Want some advice? Leave the neutral states as a buffer zone and concentrate on producing infantry and artillery. Strike into the baltic sea because there are too many coasts for the Soviets to defend against and their tank advantage is negated. Then land on one of the undefended coasts start deploy your troops piecemeal and storm into the Soviet homeland, try to attempt to avoid Russian troops concentrations and focus on taking as many pieces of territory as you can, try your best to cut right through the USSR and take Stalingrad. As the Soviet forces try to defeat those diversionary troops, build up strength in your homeland units and try to hold a single line of defence, I'd suggest having backup troops right behind it. After losing my first 14 tries, I managed to win in 10 moves once and 11 moves several times since then. It is possible!!! Learn how the game works, try different strategies, and plan 2 turns ahead. P.S. Winning is addictive.
