I recently found that this is the demo of hte actully game. The real game is much bigger, and you can play as more than just Germans.

I beat it ya the russian campaign took me so long but i finally beat it now i need to figure out how to unlock the other campaigns

Russians are Too Strong! Come on! The Germans had success in the beginning but were stopped by bad weather and then a strong enemy.

I gave it a one....poorly done and could have been much much better. Not that it should be easy but Germany sure has it's work cut out for itself attacking Poland and then Russia that were easily or more historically "rolled" in WW2. Understandibly Russia, once it got it's wits, reinforced from Ukraine/Siberia could overpower and sweep Germany if not commanded well, however this game doesn't reflect that at all.
The game has potential but right now it's very poorly done...the lack of being ble to go Fullscreen also makes the user added frustration.

The Soviet Union isn't over-powered; the game is just realistic. The Red Air Force alone was bigger than all other air forces in the world prior to June 1941. It's still really flippin' hard to beat, though. =D

you do know you can just push operation barbarossa ans start against Russia, right? also, try my strategy, but something you may want to do is not have all your ground soldiers (units that aren't ships) in one spot, it makes you airstrike prone.

A kind of save feature would be nice. I hate to lose to overpowered Russia and then have to go all the way into conquering Poland all over again just so i get defeated by overpowered Russia again. -.-'

victory, part two.
send your tanks and artillery into the Russian army, then move south toward the black sea, destroying the Soviet armies in your advance. then once you reach the black sea move to the Caucasus area bordering Stalingrad. send one unit into Chechnya and send the rest of your troops into Stalingrad. congratulations, you have taken the soviets greatest source of money they still have a good bit of resources left. then go to lipetsk, launch a two prong offensive invading Moscow and Kiev simultaneously, then crush the Soviet held center of the map, winning.

victory, part one.
the russians DO NOT MAKE INFINITE TANKS. in RL the russian tanks were all cheap to produce, but definitly not free. if you want to cut off the flow of cheap russian armor, then you will need to launch a two prong campaign against them. first move your armies together to your space bordering russia, and then send the vast majority of your infantry (or all) into the baltic sea, holding this means the russians will poor troops regardless of type at you to remove the threat to leningrad. keep control with more infantry, and with your money keep producing tanks for the ground offensive and infantry to hold the baltic. now for the second move.

10 soldiers, 10 tanks and 10 artillary beat 23 soldiers and 13 artillary with 23 defence. The germans were the attackers! WTF?

on the hotseat play mode, 2 questions. 1) why do the poles not attack? 2) I might have made the world nazi slaves, just sayin...

The second campaign is much easier than I thought. There's a few basic steps that guarantee victory. First, completely ignore the neutrals. Send all your troops among the borders towards the only entrance into Russia (neutrals won't attack). Don't attack the Russian border yet until you have some good troops there. Attack the waters with every infantry unit you have (you'll win this the first turn). Keep buying both tanks and infantry (forfeit artillery entirly), but focus on tanks. Put infantry in the water. The Russians will suicide rush the waters with your high amount of infantry and because only quantity matters, you'll always win. When you start pushing into Russia with your huge army, they'll get confused and suicide rush on the neutrals. Take a step back to attack all those threatening your borders, then start expanding into Russia. Make sure to hit the production centers hard, but send single troops into territories that can't be attacked by them yet.

okay you can take russia by dividing your forces constantly and taking as much shit as possible also only make tanks cause it just beats everything else then you just keep moving around the russians until you take anything but its a great idea although very GAY because russian invasion is the last thing and hard as shit if you dont do it right and poland is easy as hell 3/5 for good game just not thinking right when it was made

My god the russians blew me away in 4 turns and i had a ton of armies everywhere. Somethnig needs to be done to make them a little easier.

Well,they won the war...it'll be presumed that the Barbarossa in the game have more possibilities to fail as it failed in the real world.

come on, I won both at first try.
You just have to be VERY aggressive, go and get the riche eastern regions.
If soviets can build up an army, you're screwed.

WTF is up with the soviet tanks, there should be no way that 1 soviet tank can take out about 7 artillery, i thought that the artillery were supposed to be able to destroy tanks, but that is just outrageous. If the soviet tanks were not so overpowered this game would be excellent, 2/5 for the overpowered soviet tanks, also more units would be nice.

...in berlin i had defense up to 21 i outnumbered the soviets in artillery by 8 and tanks by 13 and only had 5 fewer infantry... i lost... wtf
