Noobgai2009, the BAR is was not a Sub machine gun. it was a light machine gun. it was too heavy for a sub machine gun, and its fire rate wasnt fast enough. it was also too big for a sub. though its power would alow it to kill one shot.

Another main reason that the M1 series was used is that they were extremely siple to make and never locked up or were affected by water damage which was extremely important in the swampy marshes in vietnam

I want to say stolen from AG, but I'm too lazy to check. Besides, it's a good game though, and I wondered why he didn't just airlift the plans out of there by night. And, I don't think the BAR could 1shotkill a person in WWII. Maybe a headshot, but, I wasn't in WWII, so I wouldn't know.

btw manfish the reson why the carbine was semi popular in vietnam was becuase the rifle was relativly light weight and was long and heavy like the Garand, and also the veitnamese on our side could handle the crbine becuase of its weight, plus the bullets were lightere and the carbine held more rounds, and you coule carry more rounds because of the light weight bullets, but sometimes you had to shoot a person twice and sometimes three times to kill a person( granted you didnt shoot them in the head or heart) but with the garand you usually only had to shoot the person once because of the bigger bullet a.k.a. stopping power

Great game, kept me busy. And @ Manfish: No, the M1 Garand fired a .30-06 and later a .308 round, where as the M1 Carbine fired the .30 Carbine (a significantly smaller round). This is why you don't get your histroy from Call of Duty.

i Liked it but its not rip off of storm the house. I know at least 4 games that defend a house and to make it interesting you buy extra weapons. Standed shooter/defense game through and through.

i got bored at 20 save the the rocket launcher for the end its pretty much useless unless using it in a group of enemies

Also, is anyone else getting a bug where the words from the main menu "more games" and "gaming news" stay on the battlefield while you are trying to fight?

So I purchase the Browning and try to use it in the next wave, and SURPRISE! I don't have the weapon I just bought. I lost the round thanks to that bug.
