I played on easy mode. The only time I had to grind was AFTER I beat the game. I just maxed out my mouse and my rabbit, then unlocked everything up to the dragons and penguins. I had started to max those out when I beat the game. I geared with exp enhancing rings.

I'd like to be able to see the stats of both my character and my units. A better description on the equipment would help me determine if it's a benefit just to Paladog, or if it benefits all of my troops (such as HP regen or max HP rings).

ok i think people would love a few upgrades to the game maybe the turtle have more defence and heath and the bomb money will have a longer expand of a throwing radiation. I would like when you get max upgrades the units and paladog look cool, then just having the same look the same as when you started.(maybe the pink dragon i haven't got it yet but i've seen it) Achievements would also be nice, and a black smith. Hope you read this! I love this game :3

Anyone else notice that in the story line they said the animals were too peaceful to fight back but it says the rat is a gangster...

I highly recommend you play this game to the soundtrack of Conan the Barbarian. Basil Poledouris' score makes this quaint game all the more fun. I've been revisting Paladog for years now, and the soaring music perfectly invigorates the light story.

I see 2 problems in this game:
1st I am not able to withdraw forces and mices are not attacking people inside the stronghold...
2nd I am not able to use multiple keys, clicks. pressing 1 blocks using of the mouse, pressing right blocks 2...
android version is much easier. hell gives near 2k gc from 1st level, flash like 500. no big green zombie on 2nd level... will check someday payable one too.

yea i keep coming back hoping theres an update lol. i love the "random upgrade choices" aspect of this game. I wish there were more games with this feature.

Really great game. Changing your tactics for a level can have such a dramatic effect. Seems like upgrades are a little expensive, as my final three units had 13, 7, and 5 out of 20 respectively after I had beaten the game.

Love the game, but two ideas for improvement:
1) As many others have said, being able to see numeric stats would be nice for both units/upgrades and rings/maces
2) The difficulty of late tile levels is way out of progression, the reliance on luck makes them the hardest by far - Even when I'm strong enough to beat every other nearby level easily, and using the hints in these comments on playing tile levels, and changing rings especially....well, it feels like the tile levels are the boss fight I need to grind and level for, while the actual boss fights are just the easy grinding area to help me prepare for the tiles. Then I get past it finally and the next few levels are ridiculously easy to just fly through.

when you max upgrade a unit they should do something other than attacking or in-aura attack they should have a new ability or new special in-aura attack

Chapter 2 intro: That beaver definitely does NOT look like it's going to pick up that mushroom. Especially when his back is facing me. AND ESPECIALLY when the mushroom is right beside him! I REALLY hope he's not doing what I think he's doing...

Anyone else feel like the green tile levels are kinda cheap? You're completely at the mercy of whatever the game gives you. So in other words you can fail simply because it gives you the least helpful things.

Thanks for this game, I love it!
You've combined several of my favorite things: strategy, adorable forest creatures and paladins!
If I ever get a smartphone, Paladog and I will definitely have more adventures together <3
