may I suggest nerfing assasin backstab? its funny when one assasin pwns 10 warriors and still has half health left, but it gets boring. brilliant game, well balanced except for the assasins.

Needs a "Stand Ground" button for hero and the allready mentioned speed up button and permanent unit upgrades rather than buy em everytime...

You would want to fix "level hero up" EXP bug... last night, I gave Hero an inital 1000 EXP where Hero should level up twice... but he didn't, just "once" while his EXP gauge displayed full blue box with text said "1000 / 1000"... Hope you didn't forget to put the code where it should say "greater than OR EQUAL TO" EXP... if you already did, then maybe you did forgot to put a mini loop to level-up repeatly? I am just trying to help you out because I kinda like this game from now. =)

I believe that adding some more tactical decision in the game would drastically improve game play, as well a better movement control and increased visibility of your hero: there needs to be a stand ground button and the hero unit should never be covered by other allied or enemy units. The ranged heroes have a clear advantage over the melee heroes in that they gains XP for kills on the screen, while the melee heroes have to physically kill a unit to gain XP, putting them at much greater physical danger.

All my progress and saved games disappeared. On another sidenote: it would be nice to be able to have your hero stand ground.

There seems to be some sort of skill point bug somewhere. At level 7, with the unlocked content, I was able to place 35 points worth of stuff (I think this should be 32). When I finished the next map and leveled up, I thought I had found a bug where I lost skill points (down to 34) before I realized that the bug had been earlier and what was happening now was correct.

What file type is your image on the game selection list? It doesnt show up on firefox, it makes your game look cheap.

Decent enough, but difficulty is completely broken. Normal is exceedingly easy if you unlock the bonus content. Expansion pack rendered impossible on Hard or Impossible, not due to units but due to the fact that enemy has a champion that knocks you back no matter. There is no strategy to counter it, no units too heavy to knock back. The only conceivable counter is the Dragon Rider, which is rendered worthless by the fact that it's XP requirement is so high that games are usually over before it's available.

i dig! might be cool to have the amount of energy listed numerically for the castle. also hot keys for hero movement and pause (maybe these exist and i am dumb?)

The code for the bonus content doesnt show up for me, maybe others aswell?! It just shows a blank green screen with a patter on that green screen.
Suggestion: have like an XP bar, so we know how much xp to get before we level up? Add maybe like a few more units, or maybe a new faction/team. Like....Elven,human, demon, etc.. like different looking enemys for the factions, and different skills/ advantages towards enemy factions?

This game seems to have a couple issues concerning save files. I got up to level 7 with a warlock and came back the next day and the save file wasn't there. I decided to give it another chance, played up to almost the same point, reloaded the game, and the file was thankfully there. Then I decided to go to the options menu and see what was there. Then I accidentally clicked "Play game" instead of "back" and it started a new game and erased my file. It didn't even ask me what file I wanted to start a new game on. It automatically chose the one I had been playing and erased it. This needs to be fixed. I've played the game twice and both times my save file has gotten erased, which really discourages me from continuing to play.

I don't know... having to get all the upgrades in the FIRST battle kinda takes away my desire to want to play anymore. There is no sense of progression

This game has a lot of potential but by the time you get to the 5th battle, it starts to feel tedious and repetitive. Something should carry over from one fight to the next....the upgrades purchased, part of your hero experience, castle upgrades, or something similar so it feels like you're actually working towards something and not constantly starting from scratch.

it doesn't work that well jenkins. The best course (despite what is said in the description) is to max out the income with 250 rep, then you reduce the cost of tower upgrades and you max your tower. The only unit you'll need for a long period is your hero. While defending your tower you can level him up very fast. once you reach 50000 you upgrade the shadow demon and launch him, your hero should be at a level high enough to destroy the tower either with fury flame or with his power up. Doing this you'll need to have the regeneration thing (click on the bonuses level and copy/paste the code). I used the beast master and that's the only way i could beat impossible difficulty on later levels. Good luck !

Once you get the basic strategy, all the levels play the same. Rush massive slaves, slaves+archers, soldiers+archers as you level, then spam assassins with your hero out. Bring out catapult, spam infernals and spiders.
