Full instructions in first levels and in-game help.
TIPS:
- 'use' amulets in your inventory to get permanent stat boosts
- click the 'go to exit' button to walk to the exit automatically after you find it
- 'taunt' the enemies if they are beating up your friends too badly
- let your friends collect some potions, they share them out then hand the rest to you
- you can swap equipment with your friends: click the item in inventory, change inventory page, click to equip the item on a friend or store it in their bags. You can share potions this way too.
- use the 'wait' button to cancel attack instructions to your allies, click on an empty floor area to cancel attacks for yourself
- sell unneeded equipment and potions, every $2500 gives you an extra stat point to spend
Developer Updates
v1.9 fixed name entry to permit the letter โJโ in names (thanks to tornblitza and samstersamster for the report)
v1.91 fixed game exit if party gets split by the timed door (thanks to webmage for the report). Also reduced the font size for the huge red text messages so hopefully they wonโt be quite so annoying! (They do go away after level 2 at least).
v2.01 โ fixed dupe bug (thanks 80DPanda and others who told me about this)
- fixed sweep experience bug (thanks z7master for the report)
- added high level score for reaching โlevel 9โ if you actually complete level 8 (canโt find the comment that suggested it, but thanks whoever it was!)
Didnโt find any crash bugs yetโฆ still looking but could use more details if you see one.

Would be nice if there were achievements... that allowed you to "carry on" with some items or abilities. Really like this game 5/5 (played for 2 hours straight at work you evil bastard)
The original design has a requirement for "eternally down" mode where you get to choose whether you want to leave or just keeping exploring (all floors would be random layout and there would be no more prisoners). Unfortunately after 3 months dev I ran out of budget and had to just finish up. If this does well, I'll put it in a sequel and see if I can load up your character details from the saved games!

Would be great if there was some way to give specific commands to specific party members, at least to the extent of "run away, you're making me waste all our potions on you". Also a tip for people just starting out - click on all of the random dungeon objects like suits of armors and bookshelves since they can drop amulets and potions. Yes, even the cracks in the wall count.
You can taunt the monsters to stop them attacking a weaker character, and your friends will use potions to heal themselves (if you let them grab a few). I had more complex controls (group up, explore, stop fighting, wait) but all the testers said it was too hard. Tip for finding the extras, almost anything that gives a description when you hover it can be searched by clicking when you're near it - shackles are probably the hardest thing to see.

It's a good game, Scroll zoom in/out is good and intelligent movement of characters is great programming too! I would suggest tweaking the inventory so its less clunky though. Such as make it possible to pass items between party members (not just drop them to hope they pick up) and maybe an auto eqip to best party member to save on dropping (sorry not a fan of the dropping). I'm not sure why one of my party members died when I have 15 heal potions and no real way to pass potion to that member. Still 5/5 from me :)
You can pass equipment including potions to friends by clicking on it in your inventory then using the arrow buttons to change inventory and click in their page to equip it or store it in their bags. Potions heal everyone, so if you see a friend getting weak, you can heal them by clicking one of your potions.

simple and funny, maybe soe more develop required but for me is good 5/5
Glad you enjoyed it... I'm a huge fan of Everquest and very flattered that you even mentioned SOE in the same breath with my little Flash game! EDIT: or you mistyped 'some' and I look like an idiot now.
