Great strategy: rush your fire to 10, get phoenixes, never let your fire go below 10. Now your whole side is invincible. Side note: if you use priests of fire to get your fire up to 10, then you can use stone rain to get rid of them so you can get more phoenixes.

How to get ridiculous amounts of health in just a few steps:
1: Be a controller
2: Equip Elf Hermit and Rejuvenation (found in the earth slot)
3: Battle Helga the Whale (in the campaign)
4: Fill up your entire side with Elf Hermits
5: Place one Ancient Horror (found in the control slot)
6: Use rejuvenation every turn. The ancient horror should make it so none of your hermits die.
7: Enjoy!!

This is a great game I have played it a lot on a different site. The beast master is my favourite class but the necromancer is the easiest to play through the game at the hardest level because of it's drain souls spell to equalise any playing field. The great oak should have been given to the mad hermit, it could have used some more power and I do not see the point of winning the spy glass at the end of the game since the game is then over and so you can not use it.

could you add an option to sacrifice a card for 1 point in it's element, causing it to move? i'm always really low on power and my thing is full up, so i could do with a way to get rid of my cards in play. + if u agree.

finally i played this. I have to admit, i played a different version of this on AG (sorry kong, i just made a account there for the new kingdom rush ;). However i have to say a great game! a CCG where you have to choose wisely, not just the best cards. congrats 5/5 i would love to see more sequels !

How come I cant take any cards out of my deck? Everytime I try it says, “Deck must contain 20 cards” and ive counted 3 times to make sure I have atleast 20 cards and it still wont let me take any cards out

I think calling it a CCG is misleading as one does not collect cards. I find it preferable, but still misleading. Hey 2 out of 3 aint bad- it surely is a card game :)

To have an easier time against Archmage opponents: Make yourself a Custom Deck and either play Arch Duel or Custom Deck, both let you use your Custom Deck.

Hey guys I got a great deck setup to beat any archmage duel! My deck is an illusionist-based deck. The key cards and spells to have are the following:
Meditation. Astral Guard, Phoenix, Tornado, Nature Ritual, Master Healer, Madness, Phantom Warrior, Hypnosys, Wall of Reflection.
STRATEGY: When you go into Archduel, (1) click the Master Healer card to start out with. (2) Summon Phantom Warrior until all slots are full. (3) Use Nature Ritual to heal your Master Healer and Tornado to get rid of big threats attacking your healer.
For more in-depth strategy please pm me. There is A LOT more to this strategy than you think, but it helped me defeat the Archmage 10 times in a row!

I would love it if I could exclude cards from my random deck, rather that choosing a 20 card static deck. This would ensure that I purchase the game.

It is actually pretty easy to get the hard badge:
Make a custom deck with the cards you are supposed to play a number of times (e.g. wall of lightning and Phoenix) and include Giant Turtle.
Choose Mad Hermit as Opponent and Fairy Oak as Favourite Card.
During the duel:
Your main Goal is to block your Opponent with 5 Phoenix so summon them as soon as you can (preferable against strong monsters like elements). At the beginning use Giant Turtles against weak enemies. If the Archmage summons a Astral Guard try to kill him as soon as you can.
After you built this wall of Phoenixes just summon for your achievements.

a little repetitive but this game was actually still pretty awesome. even some battles on easy mode weren't all that easy and some of the cards you get later kinda rule. overall 8/10

The only beef I have with this game is that you can only use your custom deck in an Archmage duel. And you can't even do that in the iPhone app.

The full paid version is absolutely worth it. There's a whole lot of work put into it, and it shows. More duels, each just as well-thought-out and well-crafted as these are. A very interesting storyline. If you like this version on Kongregate, you would be well-advised to get the full version - you're missing out!

Kilo, the moon is explained in the paid download version of the campaign. It is much better than this one's campaign, and the story makes more sense.

I really like this game, i give it 5/5, but, two things, i wish the campaign was longer, and was with the whole moon thing, i got confused and replayed the whole game and couldnt find a trace, could someone explain

the full version of this game is a *lot* more of a challenge vs the ai and in the campaign. the developer should really let people know how much better it is. went from a 100% win ratio to about a 20% win ratio.
