I was thinking it would be cool if you had to build up from being a little drone to being a giant mech or something, with a scale increase. Just kind of wanted a true mechwarrior style flash game I guess.

Lots of little tweaks that’d add a lot. Having the camera start completely zoomed out and static while allowing you to zoom in for better control and focus. Nice job with the difficulty/design on the spinning blades and the heavy tank-tread guys; but the walkers were way, way too slow to be even an annoyance and the later enemies were still easy to dodge thanks to only ever firing 1 bullet at a time. I would recommend just showing all weapons/upgrades from the start to give players more customizing options (and more replay value).
Add enemies that can fire homing missiles at you so that it isn't just circling around the area to avoid being hit the entire game (though the spinning blades were nice in making that harder to do). Also actually needing to use the shield every now and then would add an extra layer of depth and strategy (enemies with odd patterns like the spinning blades would make dodging less predictable and give more reason to use shields).
Well made game regardless.

Some way to continue earning exp without having to advance levels would be nice. I've gotten stuck without any way to improve my weapons and keep getting swarmed and killed. Or else the ability to sell old weapons .... or something.

kind of a tad on the easy side honestly, but still pretty fun. It still felt like there maybe should have been more wep choices though imo, it's usually a lot less cool when by the end of the game there are certain weapons you really have to be using to not be at a huge disadvantage. Any weps but laser ones won't stand up by the end.

A couple of tips that helped me through the game.
1)Don't buy/upgrade the shotgun or Rocket Launcher, useless.
2)Gold WarBots have a maximum range that they can fire their cannons.
3)If you stay in the bottom-left corner, spinning blades can't hit you.
4)Always buy armor/bonuses before weapons.
5)Focus Fire on stronger enemies first.
6)Wave 23 is prolly the hardest in the game, be warned.
7)Use your shield when the warbots start to spin.
8)Upgrading a weapon is better then buying new ones.
9)Save after every battle.
10)Don't die ;)

is it me, or after guns, lasers, and spinning tops of doom, did robots whose primary form of attack was to drop on you feel a lttle...underwhelming? I mean, i noticed they'd sometimes try to kick me instead, but its not exactlly the epitome of advanced science is it?

I think that a sandbox or unlimited mode would help keep the game playable after the main 30 waves or maybe some in game achievements or challenges. It's a great game but SO much more could be done to make it a truly AWESOME game. Maybe even custom mechs? paint, speed, armor etc...

Easy but fun arena shooter. Start with 4 SMG and max them, they'll serve you well until you get lasers. Heavy cannon is a huge boost in damage: get it, max it. Also max speed boost as soon as it's available. Once laser weapons and RBEMP unlock your setup is complete. By skipping unnecessary items you'll be able to max most equips as soon as you get them.

So i played this game and must say it was ok but there are some MUST-ADDs like 1)more weapons 2) better weapon system so that you can press left click for his gun and right click for this gun so you dont waste machine gun ammo on one enemy while theres a bunch of enemies attacking you from behind 3) more maps. one map is boring if u played it 3-4 times
still its a ok game 3/5
+ if you think he should add this. this game has potential :D.

Needs more guns, more levels... more everything. it would also not be bad to add a difficulty selection too. easy, normal, hard, harder, insane.

Nice game, space for alot of improvements, a way to sell unusable weapons, and camera angle the most dire if you ask me. free repairs is good. Hope to see more stuff, but with better refinement.
Also the walker only lvl is ridiculously easy, if you just keep moving they have too slow attacks to hit you, i hate max move speed upgrades, but still ^^
Thumbs up for good work, if you refine it to something even more fantastic i will give 5/5 :)

The creator forgot the fun, I mean seriously, is there any reason not to take five submachine guns? How about that when you purchase your armor upgrade you have to equip it? What possible reason could I have to buy an armour upgrade and then have it sit at my base?

Not terribly exciting. The camer perspective is awkward as you can get stuck in the right corner, you can't see about one third of the enemies at a time and the whole thing is not as pretty as it could be. The designs are basic but ok - not everyone has a cadre of designers at their beck and call after all. The colors could have used some work though. Right now, the game neither pulls of a cartoonish arcade style or a realistic detailed style. Gameplay is sub par. There aren't enough things to buy at first and there really is no choice but to upgrade to the next better gun later on. Nothing really broken, but not much done right either so far. 2/5

Needs maybe a story line? a change in scenery from time to time would be nice as well. Also, it will not let me continue my previous game after the window was closed and re-opened

I really hate how lvs21-24 are the HARDEST in the game! To be honest, I found lv30 one of the easiest compared to lv21-24. My tip is, don't upgrade the first main cannon, fully upgrade the SMG, buy a armour when it appears, the shotgun is useless and buy 4x lasers for your slots ASAP. It should make lvs 21-24 easier

Btw you should have a health upgrade, a defence upgrade, a firerate upgrade, a range upgrade (like a scope on the gun), and a ammo upgrade so you dont have to click up ammo on every singe gun.

reaching lvl 20 without any difficulties, after that all my weapons were completely worthless. Bad balancing! Nice game still...

Just a few suggestions, on what could be a top game contender.
1) Harder bots, include homing kamakzi types and increase the speed of the current bots.
2) make the armor add slots, start with 2 then have each armor add 1 slot and 1 shoulder and increase the shoulder count to 2. Cut armor amounts in half.
3) Decrease the ridiclous load and fire rate on the ABEMP. Cut reloads in half, cut damage in half.
4). Decrease the amount of money to have to make choices. Don't make all upgrades available. make em choose jack of all trades, or master a certain weapon.
5) make all weapons viable in the end. increase damage at hefty cost for the machine gun.
just a few suggestions, but otherwise great start!

WAY too easy, by day 30 i had all weapons and bonuses maxed, bought 4 of all weapons, and had all 3 armor. needs a massive diffuclty increase, or an option to do so

Great game. Not perfect, but pretty awesome. I was kinda disappointed that there wasn't a boss at the end...
I also gotta agree with fledglingzombie, upgrading to bigger badder mechs would be pretty awesome.

My favorite part about this game is where I get to strafe around in a circle until the end of the level... oh wait...

-ALIEN COMMANDER- send everything we've got -ALIEN SCIENTIST- no sir it would work better if we sent the worst we got at first and very very slowly send better drones within 30 days -ALIEN COMMANDER- good idea and if we don't kill the there drone bye then we will run home screaming like little girls

i expected some kind of boss at the end, like a "Mother alien" or somthing anyways, the last rounds were boring, just waiting for a new big thing to come and blow it up after 5 secounds and then wait 20 secs for a new one to come. needs bosses. when completing you get the uppertunity to start over with your equipment, you should make alot harder like 50 x health and 10 x damage or custumizable diffecoulty. you probably will not hear me but its just my meaning about this game, sorry if i spoiled anything to other pepole who read this.

Pleasant graphic and game play. The only problem I have is the view. If only If I could get the third person view like in Gear of War or Global Agenda. . .(looking from behind the drone). Great game otherwise! It disappoint me when people don't build upon their game when it's very good but could use improvement. I give thee 4/5

Suffers from the same "circle to win" mentality that all of the other games of this genre suffers from. Main cannons and shoulder weapons are all useless (except for maybe the last ones). The only weapons you need to upgrade and get are 4 SMGs (slot), and then jump up directly to 4 laser slots. Everything else is a waste of money, because this game is too easy to require anything else. The game gets "harder" by putting more things on screen at the same time, which doesn't really increase the difficulty because the enemies simply don't do enough damage. All more enemies really do, is decrease the FPS of this game and make it lag on my computer. Smarter AI targeting would be much appreciated. Instead of having the AI aim at where I am right now, have it aim at where it perceives I will be in half a second. Also, when an explosive weapon explodes (the shoulder slots), make it still deal area damage, instead of exploding and dealing no damage.

(you):Alright Mech...you are surrounded by killer drones. Mow 'em down!
(mech): Why?
(you): there ain't no way out!
