@warhammer100
Red Alert /is/ Command & Conquer...and yes, they're all RTSs, but I don't think the similarity goes beyond that in really any form.

At first I enjoyed this game, however, as the game progressed I found my mouse slowing down, and the game got buggy. I could no longer select more than my current unit, and every time I clicked on the map it would read as my mouse holding the click and dragging, while still counting as a single click, making me have to click twice to do anything, and not letting me drag and click to use more than one unit.
Also, after a time I got finally fed up at the interface, which again was much too much of a pain to deal with.
Overall, a 3/5, since the game concept is great. Once the bugs are out, and the interface that trips you up at every turn is sorted out, it'll definately go up to a five, until then, I don't think I'll come back to the game to beat it. It's not worth the irritation of my units moving elsewhere when I click on one of my buildings to start preping, or my repair truck moving everywhere when I want to click on my tanks instead.

fun game but scrolling around map and calling units to locations 1 by 1 sucks. 3/5 ------------------------------------------------needs work and easy 50 point badges :)

this game sucks if you click on an enemy to attack and that enemy moves your troops go to the old position while the enemy moves away, when several tanks are selected to attack most of the time only 1 or 2 actually fire, I cannot believe anyone likes this game

The camera is absolutely screwed up it keeps shaking heaps and when it will move it just keeps going till it hits a invisible barrier!

One problem: I built an Airport, and it seemed like its War Plane went everywhere I clicked.... Maybe I missed 'de-selecting a unit' in the tutorial?

Interface is decent, and I like the double speed option, though a hot key to quick select a building would be nice, as those tiny building buttons are entirely too close to the bottom of the screen, very bad for a mouse scrolling player.
I do like the sound and graphics, though. Very on par with C&C: Gold Edition (Win 95 version), which is very good, indeed, for a flash game.
All in all, it's a pretty game, but needs a lot of work to improve the logical aspects of progression. 3/5 for the nostalgia, looks, and decent attempt at a flash RTS similar to the legendary C&C universe.

I'd agree with NorthDragoon. The Micromanagement aspect of this game is a bit extreme. Sure, a real RTS gamer will micromanage to victory, but having to micromanage attacks, micromanage building, no logical formations, too few hot keys, awkward deselect (Space, and you Have to use it if you have a Repair unit selected, else, you'll never select another unit, also, if you plant a building, you could pull a selected unit back to base by accident), it makes the level of micromanaging in this game overly cumbersome, and the lack of Right Click controls, this being a Flash game, cuts a lot of flexibility, making micromanaging all the more troublesome.
Fortunately, the AI's weakness well balances the poor managing ability of your base and troops, so you won't likely be overrun because you're too busy maneuvering each tank into position one by one.

i think its pretty good... and i DONT think that everyone needs to post a comment about the ai sucking... i think the developer got the point after the 1st couple times... and so what if the ai sucks? any REAL gamer could still win... even if its a bit more challenging... which is kinda the point of games...

3/5 I guess...since it's a good attempt at a RTS... yeah A.I needs to move randomly atleast or do something? needs to be updated(alot of work)

Its like a flash knock off of older RTS games like the original Command & Conquer. The environments remind me of old 2D PC games like Planescape: Torment. Its not bad per se, but there are much better ways to spend time. Also the units are kinda bad at finding their way to a target, a column of tanks running at a target one at a time is a bit stupid, micromanaging this in a flash game is ridiculous.
