... By accident I discovered that pressing the 'a' key turns on "autoplay" mode. I robbed myself of completing level 3.x by trying to use the 'a' key to keep the beat. :(

My rating would be considerably more forgiving if there were a practice mode that allowed me to tackle individual segments rather than having to smash my head against a brick wall of a segment that I can't even do trial runs of.

Not going to leave a rating since the game is completely out my type and my rating wouldn't be balanced. The one gripe I have is that there's no instruction at the beginning and I did not know what to do - strugging for like 10 minutes before I worked it out.
As for non-game related, putting a Badge of the Day for a game that requires audio is kind of "fun" when I do not have audio available. Luckily found the comment that A sets the game to autoplay. As such, managed to complete a rhythm game without hearing the rhythm, lol. ;-)

Olinser, that's the challenge of games like this. I've seen others like this with more ridiculous or broken expectation, like the Super Crazy Guitar Manic Deluxe series.

This is a game of patience, and while it is difficult, it scales in difficulty well, and it's in the description, "The second hardest one-button rhythm game you will ever play." So if you like to blitz the BotW, you might want to make a quick getaway. *shrug*

Man, this game is so replayable, I quit about a year ago, after getting mad at 3-x, but now just beat it and had a blast doing so.

Mine broke at 5.19998x. Auto just keeps whiffing so much that the song ended before Fire and Ice got to the last tile
