i am so curious what the next levels/songs might be, i just cannot waste time one them. create an option to skip levels or at least some checkpoints, and i might increase my rating.

Just to let you know, there's an Android version here for dirt cheap:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fizzd.connectedworlds
Much appreciated if you would buy it! No IAPs ever and lifetime free updates guaranteed. Instead I justify adding new features by increasing the price ever so slightly with each new world, meaning if you buy it now you are rewarded with a cheaper price. Thanks!

Sometimes I fail even when the beat is in a "straight line". My comp is rather old, and when I play games, from time to time there is a tenth of a second lag, but in that game it is totally a killer. I just cant beat (beat, hahaha) the wind-up (10th ish level). A jukebox mode could be useful/enjoyable, and a better "automatic snap to the nearest 1/4th of a beat" a.i. seems a must.
Amazing concept, something that i never seen before (it is quite rare!)
Make me wish I had a super pc! :)
Sorry about your problems! The game does actually snap to the nearest 1/4 beat, but I agree it doesn't work well if there's lag and I should do some interpolation or something to fix it.

REVIEW:
Great game i loved the music and the style but, there was a couple things bothering me.
Starting with the calibration I know almost every comment is about this but it's for a good reason, controls matter.
Especially in a rhythm game, it gets in the way of my fun and messes me up in the later levels.
Do I dislike the game... no definitely not it's a wonderful game with lots of potential.
But the creator has yet to reach that potential keep it coming Fizzd.
My overall rating is... 7.5/10
Great

this is an amazing rhthym game. I'm always a fan of rhthym games but the music in this is just perfect. only issue I am seeing is that for some reason the rotations are really offbeat no matter what i seem to set the calibration at. i dont know if that is just my system or if its meant to be like that but i will play with it more to see if its just me.

I don't get it. Can't tell what's happening, what I'm supposed to do. It looks interesting. Better instructions? in game feedback? I need something.

Adjust what you have to adjust! Add more levels if you may! But don't touch the system you have in place now.... One life, if you blow it... go back! Perfect. The point is that we need to master the game, not master on how to beat it with 3 lives... idiotic. Keep it like this dude!!

LEFTCLICK / RIGHTCLICK... *RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE* Why you do Instructions like this --> 'Any key to move, except the left and right arrows which are to change the calibration.' <--- fucking unclear, vagina got stuck in fan.

Ok, Mr. developer. I was trying to finish this game before commenting, but this is teeth crackingly frustrating. Please implement a miss system. Give us 5 misses per song, and when we miss, just teleport us onto the node, as if we had gotten it. This method will solve 2 issues. First and foremost, it'll bring that horrific difficulty down. Second off, it gives the player a reason to play your game longer. I would like to play the 1-x song again, but don't want to put up with having to do it perfectly to listen to it.

Tip: This game became easier for me when I started using the F and J keys, alternating one and one and using one hand for each key.

SECOND hardest? That's lies and you know it. At least Rhythm Doctor has the courtesy of NOT kicking you back to the beginning of the level for a single mistake.

I love this game! but maybe you could add upgrades, so like, we could earn money from each level, then we can buy upgrades. I'm not saying you should, it's just a suggestion. great game 5/5

The calibration as .24000001 is floating point problem. When saving values like .27 or .24, store them as 24 and 27, and divide by 100 just before display.

I think it would be a good thing to be able to keep playing the level even if you fail. YOu would however complete the level only if you finish it without failing, this way we would be able to train ourthselves for the end of the level and listen to the full song

2-X Offbeat is just barely possible... combining the fast upbeat with turning screens is a really evil thing, to be honest...

Really fun and addictive game, defiantly unique in the rhythm genre. It also provides solid challenge. love it, also the faster it got the easier for me tho. Guess that just me.

Also, two things I just found out: 1. When you clear the data, it doesn't clear the speed of 3-X that you had reached before (I was in for a surprise when I started over for kicks and had a 1.8x speed waiting for me). 2. Calibration at .24, .25. and .26 show up as .240000001, then it switches back to .27. Just to experiment I found similar rounding issues at anything higher than .36.
And as a side note, the music is insanely catchy, you should look into composing full-length songs 'n stuff. :D

I absolutely love this game. I'm always on the lookout for new rhythm games, and this is on my top five easy. Like other suggestions made, I think a song editor/uploader would be a great touch to allow the community to contribute (although I suppose they'd have to upload their own songs, not sure how that would work), as well as different types of beats. I was able to get through 3-X at 1.7x speed, after that the timing becomes really unforgiving, and I assume it'll just keep increasing in speed indefinitely. I did notice that the calibration changed as the speed increased. I was sitting comfortably at about 0.12 and had to slowly increase it up to 2.0 by the time I was at 1.7, then when I went back to the menu, the offset was really bad and had to change it back to 0.12. That aside, this game gets a 5/5 from me, and I dearly hope it continues to be updated!
1.7 ?!?! Holy crap. Thank you for the review, I am aware of the offset issue and still aren't sure why it happens but I'll try a (bad) fix by just increasing the offset with the speed, using your numbers.

Great game, but a couple of features to make it better/harder; Add a feature where you can edit songs/turn the songs off. Add a feature to create sub-divisions (8th notes, 16th notes, even Triplets!). Add a swing version, creating the beats of Doo-bah, Doo-bah. And even if you want to get fancy, add different instruments/beats to satisfy the people (Get a saxophone, saxophone's are life). And of course, add more tracks/levels. Other than that, great game. 4.95/5 (Difficulty)

This game is absolutely brilliant. Tough as Nails, but beatable with concentration and practice. +1 for one of the most creative menu screens I have ever seen.

I started over and got from start to 21% of 2-X without any mistakes. That just proves that you can actually learn it if you keep at it! ^^

This is an awesome game! I'm already a huge fan. I love the style and the music, though at first I kinda messed with the calibration because I had no idea what it did... needless to say it took me a while to pass the first long level!
What I absolutely love about this game, though, is that while it's really, really hard at first, I kind of found myself learning how to get through the levels. It's like you're actually developing a skill for it, rather than just trying and failing on chance like most challenging games like this (though I did fail quite a bit at first).
So thanks for making the game! I'll continue to play it and see how far I can get :)
Thanks for your comment! I agree with the calibration being way too easy to change accidentally right now - I'm just developing a more intuitive calibration system right now to fix it.
Just to add: you can bring this game around with you for just a dollar on the Play store!
edit: actually delivered on my promise lol. new autocalibration system now!
