The fire was my left foot, the ice, my right one.
And I saw a dude who really looked like me, who was apparently the owner of those legs, and I actually felt just like walking step-by-step trying to reach the end of the song. Really climatic. Me enjoyz it. :3

This game desperately needs a checkpoint system of some sorts (even if you get sent back 1 checkpoint each time you fail) - having to repeat 2 minutes of clicking because you make a mistake at 60% gets frustrating beyond belief really fast.

Alright, so I'm playing Ludum Dare entry 3 days before the competition is to start. Therefore, the theme must be clearly Time Travel! (or ☃)
On a side note, liked the improvements and additional levels you made since the last time. I'd like to have some music room for the tracks I earned with such effort, though. ^^"

Interesting concept, but somewhat unintuitive. You might want to explain how to play a bit at the very beginning, because it can a bit difficult to get thrown straight into the game without even understanding how to get to the 'start' button.

I've tried 2-X several times now and I've tried following various elements of the track, and none of them are the beats that I'm supposed to follow. So either I've suddenly become bad or you've removed the entire point of a rhythm-based game. I can't keep track of timing if there's an off-time tune going on simultaneously. Rage quit.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What beat are you supposed to be following in 2-X after it speeds up again? First you're following a piano, then a drum during the slowdown, but then I don't know WTF and I can't stay alive long enough to hear the pattern. :/
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
As a rl musician, I think the long stretch in 2-X is a little too long. It is very hard to maintain offbeat for a long time without something to break it up. You couldn't add in more twists or something?

Oh...so it's just trying to get an orbiting circle into the box. Wish this game had just explained that. Possibly one of the worst games I've played on Kongregate.

realy nice Game, a Little bit short in my opinion because it makes fun.
I whoud say play with the Spacebar is way easier then with the Mouse, im not sure, but i feel the beat is better by pressing the Spacebar^^
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well... that was frustrating. Now if you will excuse me, I am going to go look for my space-bar and whatever is left my mouse.

Me: Oh, an easy badge! *Tries it*.
3 minutes after... GODDAMMIT THIS LEVEL IS SO HARD! You have done a good game. 5/5

Seriously dude what thfk is your problem. That stretch in 2x doesn't go in time with any of the instruments, do you even lift?

Near the end of 3-x 1x I pretty much figured out that it helps to map out the patterns in your head if you fail something that seems new.

I feel like I'm missing something. I play better with the sound off, at which point it is just senselessly dull, but I guess rhythm games were never really something I much enjoyed. So I guess 3/5, because it seems like a solid game, even if the levels are too long, the background is distracting, and the gameplay is like my nonexistent pet hamster. In that it isnt really there. Yep.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'll be honest, as good as the game is, on 3-X I get so distracted by the coloring of the level, it really throws off my timing and concentration... I'm sure that's just me though, still its a bit annoying, but its something that I can bear with if it just means beating the game and being able to hear the full song. >w<

It might not be a bad idea to do a lives system or something, because having to redo a long level over and over is just not entertaining.

I have completed the game. It was amazing.
I would love to be able to unlock the songs so I can listen to them without effort if I have beaten their level.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Got all the way to the last level and there's no way I can ever complete that. If for no other reason then the background suddenly becoming all colorful really throws my timing off. I did enjoy the rest of the game however. My favorite level was 2X the tempo was really fun. Rating updated to 4/5

As a game that relies heavily on music a bad soundtrack could have ruined this game. However as the audio is simply divine i can enjoy this game even though i seem to fail at it really badly. 5/5

I got to level 3.x with an offset of 0.0236 (which is what the auto-calibration gave me), but 3.x didn't play correctly until I bumped the offset up to 0.0836...

A fun concept but I found the long levels way too frustrating. I would much prefer more short levels. Especially since the long levels introduce new things you never even see in the short levels (or don't get much practice with) and it throws you off basically forcing you to play the long one over and over until you finally get it. Or at the very least have save points! 3/5

this game is so fun but i am having a hard time with offset. now i am trying to beat 3_X (x1.4). but after i go this far i realize that the offset is not perfect, so i try to do offset and come back. when i do that, however, this thing doesnt just go to 3_X (x1.4) but to 3_X normal..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The twisty bits where it rotates the map are not fun. They don't happen fast enough so it's impossible to see where the very next beat is. It's even worse on long songs.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Honestly, I figured out the timing and such for the first level set really easily. Then the second level set was a bit harder. The third level set was easy to LEARN... But damn it's crushing me on the song! (Which is awesome, by the way!)
