Yeah I get that you wanted to make a hard game, but you might want to think about the distinction between "challenging" hard and "frustrating" hard.

i love the fact that at the end of the world 3 tutorials it says: 'these tutorials are inadequate for whats coming, forgive me'
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Needs some anti-frustration features. Tight timing window needs something to balance it out. The first section of a song gets old.

I love this game, but I do have a couple of suggestions. First, it should probably come with an epilepsy warning. I don't have such a problem yet still i feel dizzy after a few minutes. And second, there should be an option to remove the background dancing graphics and\or the colored tiles, both as insurance against my first note, and as a way to decrease cpu load. If the game lags for as much as 1/4 of a second, you're doomed.

the fact that I am still in 2-x and can't yet pass 58% in it.... i keep reading the comments and everyone says that 2-x compared to 3-x is nothing.. you're scaring me before i pass this one,xD

When I have to pounce the rhythm for a long time and then a sudden switch catches me off guard and I have to start over again. It's extremely frustrating, because you have to start over again. I think adding checkpoints into the levels would really be a bonus. Otherwise the game is unplayable

Aboslutely cannot do 2-X where it does the flippy thing, if I ever make the flip, the beat is so off and I have no idea where the beat is :(

I know you're not going to implement this, but I refuse to keep playing until you add a mute button. Hearing the same 10 second clip of music over and over again is intolerable.

This is one of the best games that I know of to really teach rhythm, as to get better timing in music and stuff. It's really good for that.

I was going to complain about how annoying those parts where the world stages flip and how much if flips you off and then I realised it is actually to train you to use your ears more. Love the game is well

Advanced challenge for those beating 3-x at 1.x and wishing for more: make the offset 0.0 (exactly half beat ahead) and proceed from level 1. Really hard but doable

2/5 - just for idea, there is still much to do - poor graphics, not a lot ot levels, difficulty increasing a lot just on one level in a world, no "level select", very annoying (but that's not a flaw - it's normal for rage games).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I would like it if there was a practice field that was just like the level select screen, except huge. This would allow me to be able to practice timing.

Did anyone else get a tutorial at level 2 about the arrows? I never seen a tutorial on those. All I remember are the tutorials on verticals and those stupid spirals.

3-x becomes out of sync by a very small amount. 20ms max. I'm a drummer and didn't have much difficulty with it, but after the first time messing up I clicked slightly ahead of the tempo and cleared it no problems on the second attempt.

It's really annoying that pressing R at the Level Failed screen takes me to the calibration screen, especially when it doesn't say anything about it doing that on the screen. 3-X is such a different tempo to the World 3 tutorials that I feel it is actually hurting my ability to play!

Cannot get past 20% on 2-X because of the serious calibration. I'm click right at it gets to the middle of the box, but the corners fail me, every time. Would LOVE the game if it was calibrated right. Got calibrations of .11 and .12, .3, .4, and .6, and I couldn't figure out whether I'm too early or what, because none of the suited.

I really hope the dev reads this.
So, as a musician, I felt I beat this game a bit easier than most would, as I'm used to rhythms and such. As much of that as I though, level 3-X STILL messed me up really badly. Took me 2 hours, 3 rage quits, and 4 almost broken LCDs. It felt so fulfilling inching closer and closer and finally beating the level, as it was a breeze up until then.
I honestly hope there's a sequel sometime, I really had a lot of fun with this.

Seen music and though, oh a nice relaxing game . . . . . Came so close to breaking my mouse. F this game HARD in the pooper -_-

Sweet game, goin through 3-X and I just wished there was something that would show me where I clicked wrong compared to where the square is, like the imprint of a red circle or something. What's worse than getting it wrong is not knowing how I got it wrong :S Just a suggestion! :)

i have the feeling, that in 3-X the rhythm is totally off-beat... no matter how hard i try to match the rhythm... i just cant get it....
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Absolutely awesome. There is a similar bonus mini-game in Rhythm Heaven Gold for the Nintendo DS, but this is actually much more fun. You can really feel the music!

Still destroying my brain on 3-X, and I'd just like to add- I think adding checkpoints is a terrible idea. I love how much of a challenge this gives. It makes the player really work for success. Adding checkpoints would make it way too easy in my opinion.

The game concpet is good, the audio flawless. However without checkpoints in this game it becomes as redundant as watering a dead plant. I can do the first 80% with my eyes closed... why do you make me repeat this process then :/
