Honestly, I figured out the timing and such for the first level set really easily. Then the second level set was a bit harder. The third level set was easy to LEARN... But damn it's crushing me on the song! (Which is awesome, by the way!)

@feierfrosch No from the start, the menu teaches you how to play the game without telling you how to play. On the bottom it says "Any key to move" so what would a person's reaction be? Hit any key of course. If the player hits a key when they are unable to move, a reaction would be to keep hitting keys seeing as the screen flashes red which has to mean something. The path to the first song is not straight so the player can discover how to move on their own. I encourage this for developers. We don't need to have pages of instructions on how to do things if the concept of the game can be determined with trial. In fact this adds to the accomplishment the player feels.

3-X(1.0)? too easy. Im beat3-X(1.4) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1nfWxs2U9Q#t=3m49s why not create more hard or impossible badge? Even though there is a faster speed. and fun. oh not has other API? :(

I hate reflex games. that being said I do like the originality of it all, and its fun and annoying in the fun sort of way. 4/5

i blasted through everything (except the 60% bit on off-beat), and now i can't get past 7% on 3x... is calibration still off?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
on 2-x off beats the spin is awkwardly placed and at that part the rhythm gets a little wierd and hard to follow, other than that its very enjoyable

Also in the next update, can you fix the decay parameter on the vu meters so the low-end doesn't end up at a million while all the other vu meters are at 0? (If it's near 0 it should decay slowly; if it's huge it should decay quickly)

To developer: please add option to remove this dancing shapes in background and especially flashing colours. It's very epileptic. My head feels dizzy.
Hey, so it turns out that even though it works fine at higher multipliers in mac now, on Windows it still changes the offset on speeds above 1x! So you are not wrong. Just use ] to increase the offset more so it matches! Sorry about that, will see if i can get Unity to fix it.
Edit: wait, but if you're stuck at 1x, it shouldn't be wrong unless it's lagging. I'm adding indicators to tell you early or late in the next update!

The game is amazing but...i have big complaints about the recalibration...I don't think it helps...I know I get the beats right but the game makes it wrong...And that's why im stuck at the Wind-up (1x)

I'm on The Windup(x1.4) and this has to be level 19in the highscores if I counted right, but i still says 17... but anyway, great game! If it gets badges, first thing there has to be, is a hard badge for getting to x1.4 and an impossible for completing x1.6(if that level even exists) XD

Oscar goes to A Dance of Fire and Ice for being most addictive game thanks for your work I loved it you must continue to develop a sequel or more games

I'm on the Windup (1.3x), surely this is a level highscore? Isn't it lvl 19? or is it 18? It's not registering, though.

I think part 3 would be better if there was a tutorial to practice the horizontal s-curves, those came out of nowhere.

I guess it's alright, but idk why everyone is giving this a bunch of praise. I mean, you'd get the exact same thing if you took guitar hero, removed all but one button, and forced everyone to get perfects on every attempt. Unlike most rythm games which simply allow you to do better if you...ya know, do better, this one basically makes it so that if you can't hang you basically can't play the game. So yeah, it's alright I guess, and certainly frustrating, but not a step forward in regards to rhythm games imo. It's far too...rigid, I guess. Hell, with the way the rest of the game's designed I was downright astonished that you can hit even a moment before you're supposed to without instantly failing a level...

dang it, the Wind up level is just so freakin' hard xD I dunno, but when the guitar starts, it gets a little distracting and I lose my rythmn imediatly. Anyway, awesome game, the simplicity makes it nice, but the idea is really addictive.

I too sometimes experience lags. Thankfully nothing major, but sometimes if it hits in the middle of a level, and forces you to start over, it can be frustrating. Other than that, it's a good game.

Level 3-X
384th attempt (not exaggerating...)
Made it to 98% today. Wanted to strangle a puppy.
386th attempt
FINALLY!!!
I'VE BEATEN WIND UP!!!
AT LA... One point WHAT!?!?!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is something I'm sure I would hugely enjoy if it wasn't for the lag. As it is however I cannot even do 2-X. It even took me around 10 tries to get calibration to say something about lumpy oatmeal instead of "just try again". (And no, it's not me being inconsistent, I've got every badge for the SCGMD series.)
How about adding a download option, or some way to reduce effects/quality?

Pretty nifty game, though unforgiving based off keyboard response time. The area for hit should be tweaked just the tiniest bit.

My biggest complaint: I don't like that the countdown starts from 5 visually, but takes four beats. Either start counting down one beat earlier, or count down 4-3-2-1. That's pretty nitpicky though

Facing first fast turns I thought "if only rhythm games could use both mouse buttons just like 'OSU!' does". And then I understand it's Unity, not Flash, and try it, and it actually WORKS. That's when you got your 5/5 :3 Though I must say it would be nice to have a setting to turn flashing background off - kinda hurts my eyes after a workday. Sure, I can play with eyes closed, but I need to pass the level and hear the melody first.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also I can't help but feel some of the levels are literally a bit hit-and-miss. I know there's not meant to be much room for error but sometimes you'd fail a level purely by chance. Other than that, 5/5.

Most it is hot now in the music game you ever played. 3-x where to if you can play, how far can be reached or, occasionally to adjust while calibration, any keyboard, or is it terribly fun button on the pad to play while examining whether proper! Just two of the blue and red circle will appear as lively. By all means additional stages such as 4-x, or concept is what you wanted to make a 2 if possible! 5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There is that it freezes in the unity side of the problem, you need to start when 3-x (1.5x) and I was reached but would close once the screen in this speed is also from 1.0x. Could you save the speed of information of the song if possible 3-x. I will be how to freeze like this video. http://youtu.be/oekR-QR52x4

A truly impressive game. I spent quite some time trying to beat 1-X, loved the 2-X and now I'm facing 3-X. I feel the main selling point of this game is the fact that you can use any button as your "one button" at the same time: I always use 2 buttons for tricky turning points and the adrenaline rush is immense. 5/5 and favorited. Eagerly waiting for more levels to be released.
Yep, two keys is the true way to play and not get carpal tunnel :P I'm hoping people sort of realise that as they play. Glad you like it, thanks for the comment!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You must get the hang of it first, which might be a bit hard, because there isn't much of an explanation of what is going on, but then it is fun.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I know this might sound weird, but can you add a feature where you can use the microphone, and then it will react on every short sound it hears?
