Does the computer see past the fog or somthing? 'cause im flying blind but they seem to know EXACTLY where to go. Either way this is an awesome game. 5/5 no problem.

@Yinroux11, the AI isn't unfair, it's just clearly more intelligent than you. Just because you can't go stomping around the map doesn't mean it's not fun. I spent the last twenty turns of a game running with my 200 armies from nearly 700 of my opponent's, and it was hilarious when they finally blockaded me and demolished me. Don't take losing so personally. Just enjoy the game.

How is it physically possible to beat the Europe level? You and your ally are both outnumbered and have less industry. The math suggests imminent failure as soon as you start the game.

Level 3 is absolutely impossible. I'm sorry, but if I game can't be won, then it's not a fun game. If it's not a fun game, then it's not a good game. I enjoyed it until the third level, in which I get pissed off every time I'm beaten by an unfair AI system. 2/5

Amazing game! Great quality! I would love to see this having a multiplayer option. This game could only benefit from having it. (and maybe a toggle to full screen).

In my previous comment I posted the AI on crazy out of no where would just started throwing down armies of 100+ as I surrounded them. The PC version of Risk had this same problem as the AI neared defeat it would start throwing out armies of 255 repeatedly even though it didn't have the cards or territory to support this. Hasbro the maker of PC Risk released a patch to fix this bug.

Great game but how do you use the reinforcement for Airlifts. It says 120 Troups but can't use them, anybodu know how?

Not sure if I'm the first to encounter this on crazy. I had all of North America except for 2 spots, all of South America, Africa, Antarctic, and Australia with singles in europe and asia with armies of 58 and 72. Behind the fog were the 6 AI's so no one could be pullling huge armies and I was laying down 40 a turn. Just as I start my push in europe Armies of over 100 start appearing at all my points of contact. At first I thought all the cards were coming out but they didnt stop I stopped the first couple but waves of 50 and 60 armies kept coming and there is no way with me having most of the map the AI's controlled enough territory to keep throwing those out. About 10 turns later I was pushed all the way back to antarctica with massive armies still coming. Figure has to be a bug wasn't enough territory behind fog for the all the AI's to just start throwing down massive armies and it was all the AI's wasn't just one or two.
Best way to know what happened after you lost is to surrender, then use history to look behind the fog. There aren't any secrets - you can see how they got every single army

I find it slightly hilarious that my Europe challenge map is pretty much taking the same course as WW2. I land in France, the enemy deploys almost a hundred armies against me. I move into the Netherlands, the enemy counterattacks with dozens of armies and pretty much cancels out my advance. Even the Russians who were being owned at first are pushing the enemy back to Poland.
You have to zoom out so that you can see both at the same time (zoom buttons are in the bottom right corner of the map). Or you can click one, then click More Info, then select the other from the list.

Man I completed the first two levels without difficulty. Suddenly I find my self getting picked off one by one by what seems to be an indefinite supply of enemies. I had half the world, except for the most northern tip of north America and the eastern flanks around japan and all that. Yet some how I still got destroyed. Whatever move I make the AI it seems lynch mob me. Forting up or blitzing territories was to no avail cause no matter what, as I said before...these infinite supplies of enemies really wear you down. Otherwise, I was really impressed and it kept me hooked till I couldn't handle losing anymore (rage) but, 5/5 good sir, 3 years well spent and looking forwards to another game from you.

Would be nice if you won by having 75% of territory and 75% of armies, instead of having to hunt down every last enemy.

Great game (5/5), But I have a small comment: towards the end of those big maps it gets kind of tiresome. You isolated your enemies to some part of the map and you earn way more armies per turn than he does. Technically you won, but you still take some time to conquer all those countries.

Only thing that is annoying me is this. I'll attack with 6 armies at a neutral of 2. When I go to the confirmation screen, it shows I'm attacking with 6. But, when I hit the watch turn button, for some reason I only attack with 1 or 2, and thus don't capture it. Have had this happen to me about a dozen times so far, and I'm only on the third level. (It's not always those numbers, sometimes I'll attack with 4, sometimes 10, but it still sends only a couple, not enought to capture the zone. I've also sent a 20 to capture an enemy 1 that got fortified to a 6, and for some reason only sent 5) when I hit the watch button) Really annoying.
Otherwise, good game.
I bet if you use "Watch turn" you'll find out what's going on. Most likely your source territory is getting attacked and losing some armies before your attack happens, causing it to have fewer armies available to attack with.

This is a fantastic game. However, I would like some option to cancel an attack on the Europe map - I just transferred an army of 113 men to my ally because they attacked and took an enemy stronghold before me in the combat phase.

A complete remake of the World Rebellion series by Abalore, yet this is rated higher, how annoying. http://www.kongregate.com/games/Abalore/world-rebellion-ii?acomplete=world

2 suggestions: 1) Have a full screen option -- playing zoomed out is convenient for viewing the whole map, but is a bit difficult when playing maps as complex as Level 3 (also, windows for deploy count and attack options pop up outside the screen sometimes, annoyingly, although they can be dragged back) and 2) implement a faster animation time option -- when deploying to 20 different regions and attacking 30, not to mention enemy AIs' moves, a single animation quickly becomes VERY long
I tried to add fullscreen but Kongregate doesn't allow it. When you have lots of orders, you can navigate between them using the << and >>, or use the red button in the top right to get a summary you can scan/click through or skip around. The Show All button helps get a summary too, there are lots of ways to examine what happened.

Great game. I like how I can't invade country after country in one turn just by having a big enough army. That mechanic works okay in Risk, but it would be frustrating in a game with fog of war. BUT there is a problem in the end game: Once I'm producing more armies than all AIs combined, I know I'll win. I still have to micromanage the invasion of the remaining half of the countries on the board, though. Maybe add victory conditions like "Control half the bonus army sources AND have twice as many armies as all other players combined." Again, I love the game; I just feel like it gets slow during the final third.

I HATE RNGs.... they always piss on me. Every game, every chance they get. It's like catching legendaries in Pokemon, crits in combat in JRPGs. RNGs can go throw themselves in a lake with concrete shoes on.
Luck doesn't affect WarLight games nearly as much as in Risk. If you make custom games, you can reduce the amount that luck affects the game even further by dragging down the Luck Percentage slider.

Oh noes... Ukraine ate part of the greatest country, my dear city Moscow, my Saints Petersburg, EVEN VOLGOGRAD! Noooo~

At the beginning I thought that it was going to be easy. Oooh, I was so wrong. This game is awesome, however. I never liked strategy games, but this one is an exception.

Nah. I thought it was good at first, but they seems to be a limit to the number of enemy armies you can kill in a single territory in one attack, no matter how many you attack with thus it making it sometimes impossible to take some territories if the A.I. just sits on them with a ton of armies.
There's no limit. Each army has a 60% chance at killing one enemy - remember the tutorial advice: You want to attack with twice as many armies as the defender has.

Using airlift reinforcements on the European map is unclear, I'm irritated. Great game except for that, 360 armies that are apparently unusable GRRR!

in many spots, i had a lot of armies in an area, they attacked, killed all but one, and either dissapeared or retracted! fix this please!!!

Amazing game! first 2 levels, sort of like risk...but from then on then it is its own game. Loved the multiple territories on each continents idea.

I love it. Just a few things that bother me: 1) when clicking on regions far to the right, the windows that pop up are out of frame, it's especially bothersome on the "Europe"-map when trying to get that Russian region "Yama..."(can't see the whole name) in the top right corner, you have to click it just right so that it isn't blocked by the mute buttons.. 2) One should be able to cancel a single move in addition to the whole "reset everything"-button that currently exists. Anyway, absolutely great for a first game :-)
