But the only thing I hate is the game over, where it erases all data. The limited lives, and all the ambushers makes it extremely difficult to move forward in the game.

The parts where that anglerfish came out of nowhere scared the hell out of me. When you die, the screen turns bloody, for some reason that's disturbing to me. Other than that, great game!

As if the myriad of other poor elements to the game weren't enough, the game freezes constantly, preventing me from even trying to enjoy the game.

loved it, wish there were unlimited lives though, i only made it to lvl 11.
I got the freezing every 2 seconds as well, and also noticed the countdown timer wasn't freezing!

Could have been a good game. No way to lower quality to reduce lag and the incredible sameness of the whole experience (progression was a bit slow) made it kinda boring.

It took a while to get used to the controls, untill i watched the movements of my little pixel extremely close, there didnt seem any explanation why i would slow down all the time.
After getting used to that, and the slow advancement (hint: there are anchor stones, that instantly advance you) it was kinda fun.
And then it was game over, because you die when you jump out of the water
Srsly? If you put bonuses outside of the water AND jumping kills you, at least have the decency of explaining it!
the limited lives really took the fun out of an otherwise not so bad game.

the graphics are great, possibly too great. This game was constantly lagging.
Otherwise, I echo the others. Too few lives with sudden ambush predators, while realistic, doesn't make for a decent game.
And prey being able to swim through walls, again realistic given small fish can hide in coral and reefs, only adds to the frustration.

When you combine the limited number of lives with the fact that most of the game's enemies are ambush predators that are difficult to avoid the first time around, you end up with a recipe for frustration. Also the progression seems to be glacially slow, and I was annoyed that so many of the prey animals I relied upon for advancement were capable of swimming through walls where I could not follow, meaning I had no means of trapping them. Remove the limited number of lives and make it possible to corner your food and this could be a good game.

hm forget my comment before , nothing could help this game , bad controle ... limitet trys , invisible path levels with hard timer and envolving takes too much time , and whats this ?"enyoy full version on fizzys ?".... 1/5

my main problem is, that you have the greatest speed, if you move your mouse outside the screen... interfering with other stuff...

Very nice game, I expected just another "Fishy" type game, just a small area, avoid the fish, and don't die, oh wait, you can't NOT die! HAHAHA! But honestly, I was surprised by the quality of this game, and enjoyed it. In fact, I am still enjoying it. It was a nice change of pace from games like this, so I give you a 5. Out of 5. Needed to be clear.

Gah! Seemed pretty interesting and I enjoyed exploring what I could and could not do...and dying seemed like a reasonable set-back, (simply start the level over). Then I died and it was Game Over...and just before I was about to evolve. Not worth starting over. The designer should address the reason behind the limited lives as it severely limits repeat gameplay.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I had some severe issues with lag during gameplay, and I have to agree, it takes too long to evolve -- by level seven, I still wasn't quite there, it seemed, and that was going out of my way to try and maximize score every level.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also, if you die 3 times you lose your evolution progress and are smaller/slower and cant finish the lvl. So no replay value.

there was a preloader for the preloader? I hope this NOT another demo from Fizzy games, like swords and sandles. If it is, just going to be very...very... annoyed.

It was great and all, but I didn't know I was numbered on my lives until the game ended. I never managed to evolve, and I was a bit too peeved to try again.
