nice try to show your skills - unfortunately you did not make the game, just empty and mindless presentation - programming=5, game development=0. Just a good engine to make a game - I suggest at least a bit of RPG and main character development.

The production and idea behind this game is great, but for some reason the developers have forgotten they are making a game... it is just mindless wondering through identical dead end rooms, with no changes... why not make a smaller game, with well designed lay-outs, set-pieces etc?

I look forward to future games by FlashGameRookie.... BUT I won't continue to squint at my monitor just for this game. Ideally, considering you can only see so far, the zoom should be proportionate. a 6th level with just one room and the boss would surely be a trivial piece of coding after this epic! (?) Personally no probs with lag encountered with this game.

After searching 124 maps, I thought to myself "Yay! :D:D:D Map 125. The carrier zombie MUST be here! :D:D:D" But it wasn't. So I thought "Oh my gosh, I really missed it?!?! D:" So rather than searching, I just told myself that the carrier didn't exist, and was merely a metaphor for the everlasting evil in the world that will always exist despite armored people with flamethrowers. That's what I told myself.
In my opinion the carrier zombie should be marked by having a special map, or some way of knowing that you've found its area. And the sticky walls are kind of bleh, and the locked doors are never useful. And maybe make it so zombies are only randomly generated once; once you kill them in a square, they never return. It just makes backtracking, double checking, and making sure you've covered everything way too tedious of a task knowing that just circling around a room can make zombies appear where they weren't before. It almost makes it feel like you haven't explored the room yet.

Just straight up boring, all the rooms look the same, i feel like i'm getting no where and takes like an hour to clear one floor, plus reloading when full destroys valuable clips

Lots of laggy reaction time. Map loads in chunks; wait a second and the lag stops, but I walk around a corner and it chugs again. Can't even play on lowest quality. If it gets the loading problems fixed I'll play, it sounds like an amazing idea for a game.

The soundtrack is awesome! Personally, I'd "zoom in" the screen and add more detail to the minimap (like showing a basic outline of paths within an area as you explore the area) but otherwise I like it a lot so far! I haven't had any problems with lagging but I also haven't gotten all that far... yet...

The map is zoomed out just far enough to be annoying, which is a sad case, because the game itself is very enjoyable.

i would love to play it looks like a great game its just i cant move... theres way to much lagg for me to do anything
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Very poor, for all the reasons already mentioned. No reason for the view to be zoomed so far out, opening pointless locked rooms is dumb, auto-pickup would be nice, etc. etc.

Has potential, but the movement locks up and it continues to walk in whatever direction I was going. Sluggish controls.

First, All of you A-holes who hate the game just because you suck are morons. Second, good game, but the screen is too small and also after opening about 20 locked doors, i found nothing in the rooms i unlocked. increase the frequency of items, and zoom in

Blah, couldn't keep me playing. Felt like endless room search/kill fest. Kept getting ammo for gun I didn't have?! Keys unlock nothing and just for fun I tried both light modes. 3/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
well I like the suspense given from the music and the lights....but the game gets boring after I unlock the first locked door...
I give it a 2.5 out of 5

good attempt, but no cheese :(
the intro is a terrible failure, and the graphics on the game itself are way too small. There are just countless things that aren't done quite right.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
incredibly small. you should zoom in and pan the screen around. theres no reason to see a screen thats 90% black. work on game mechanics before you submit them. another thing why should i hit space to pick up items. is there ever a case where i wont want to pick something up?

and why a bomb shelter? why not a hotel or a hospital? for christ sakes i would have taken a PRISON over this. and...why r the bathrooms locked? also, why the cries of babies?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
worst zombie flash game i ever played. what is the use of keys if u mostly use them to open doors (that shouldnt be locked anyway) that have nothing in them?and the music is the WORST!!! 2/5 barely
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ill give you credit for the introductory because i thought the game was gonna be really cool............then it started. i really couldnt play 1 minute of it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
good idea fun. the thing is so small. you should be able to meet up with lost teamates. and have like 1. and find others along the way.

Wow, my laptop is fairly fast and this bogs it down hard. Way to laggy, poor visibility, reminds me of the first GTA's.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
its just a complete fail. if you had goals for this game apart from the extreme darkness you musnt have reached any of those goals
