5/5 I didn't think it was possible to make Cactus McCoy any better, but you guys made it happen. Please make a third Cactus McCoy

If I hit up + left and try to shot, it does not works! This is also needed for getting one treasue :(
Is this supposed to be, or is this just a bug?

Lol, I love how a random search for games brings up gems like this.. It's SO satisfying whacking enemies up in the sky, the dev portrayed the sound and force perfectly, plus the gameplay is so solid, yet fluid, and there's so much to do.. This is a golden adventure game, and I'm giving it a 5/5.

Man...I had this, like, 85% completed on another website because it wouldn't work on my glitchy hipster computer. Lo and behold...it works now. Although slightly frustrated, I'm also excited that I get to replay everything-the game's that good.

I fully played the game, completing all challenges and getting all treasure, also heading for badges. I wanted to fully complete the game (all badges + all weapons bought), but the latter seems quite unachievable. Is there a easy way to get money apart from launching enemies into the stratosphere? Because I'm about to finish my second playthrough (AFTER completing all challenges and treasures, I might add) and I'd still 65k to finish buying all the weapons. I'll still get 2.75k from badges, but that doesn't even buy one of those weapons. It would be ok though if bought weapons didn't break after use. I have to say this is STILL a 5+/5 game, but those are just some tips for the third game =)

Why do I have to keep buying weapons again and again?
Is there something wrong with my savegame or a glitch or something?

a health pickup would be nice so you can heal a bit instead of dying close to the checkpoint, or wasting the full heal it gives... although the 5 lives for every level is very nice :D

Nice 2nd version of the game. One suggestion which may or not be good is once you master a weapon have it unlock for use as your first weapon. I say this since I Just got the hard badge and am one upgrade away from having them all but have only bought the 2 cheapest starting weapons having bought the second when I mastered the first so unlocking all the weapons would take some major time. But on the con side people would master the good weapons then not get the others so maybe instead have a price drop for mastered weapons. Keep up the great work.

Message for Kurufin: You'll need a butterfly net, can be found in thistle trail.
Message for Dcshuzon: Rightbottom is a reset level button.
...

Kurufin as soon as you come out of the hole at the start go directly right then down the hole, on a platform to the left there should be a net use that to catch them.

No level Reset button, No Dash move, No Off Hand weapon, No challenge Hints, No official Walkthrough....
You know how suck this game is....
It could be a nice game, but after I beat all crap in this game, the only two things I felt is Upset and Time-wasting.

bug: crouch down next to an inlet you can't get into and then get hit by an explosion or power ball. you get bounced into the gap and can't get out

Loved the first game, love this one even more. I like how instead of just maps you find treasures at the end of each level, also it's great that you can upgrade your health and defense on this one, and not just offensive skills. Seems a little bit of a loss that enemies will fly away (launch) after juggling them for 5 hits, but then again I'm only saying that cause I remember just beating the absolute shit out of enemies for money, mostly cause I sucked at the challenges near the end on the first one. I Also enjoy how the checkpoints will recharge your health...one question though, why is he still a cactus? Though that'll probably be answered later xD.

I really liked this game. The only thing that annoyed me was how this main character moves. In my opinion he could move a little quicker, and I mean while fighting, not running.

this game is boring and pointless there are not many interesting perks or features I mean all of those weapons 1/2 does meele damage (all equal damage I might add) and the other 1/2 is ranged they time out so you can only use them so long and they are everywhere if you will lose a weapon you may a well make it worth while to get on the cactus guy (odd charactor by the way) can attack just fine by himself the music is so annoying and repetative there are so many down sides and I cant even think of one up side I did not like this game 2/5 **000

5/5 - This game captures the quirkiness of mid-90's platformers really well. It'd fit right on my shelf in between Plok and Joe & Mac. Full review: http://gameolosophy.com/games/on-flash-games-43-cactus-mccoy-2/

These are the same screens from papa's pizzaria and the other games! I'm not gonna have to helplessly feed gluttons cactus's, am I?
