i wish the shields were for defending the other teammates, not for attacking. after all, isn't that what a shield is for? if the shields could stand in front, blocking the attacks while the teammates could attack, i think the shield would be of better use.

This game seemed alright until it came to crafting bows.
There's really no way to judge just how much the string will stretch that I've seen, makes it nearly impossible to craft anywhere near decent bows, and that just ruins things for me.

This is great move in the right direction, but as others have alluded to, the lack of reasons to level up really hurts after a while.

lol, i like to see how bad i can make it look and see if it even stays on the axe or sword. but i didnt get a chance to read, what is weak against what?

Played for a little while, but it doesn't seem to progress that much. BigFish Time Management games have more 'movement' and you can purchase assistants and automation upgrades as you get to higher levels.
After level 7 when I realized it was just the same repetition level after level lowered to two stars. What's the point of gaining levels and progressing it there is no reward? What's the point of arming soldiers with 'single-use' epic weapons that will just break by the end of the day?
Plus, weapons break in one battle? Pretty crappy blacksmith.

Like it! But I'm a bit unsure whether to combat fire with fire, cold with cold etc. Most games are the opposite but this one I cant quite figure out. It seems like pairing your weapon to the enemy wave of the same element works but not sure. Any advice?

It's nice for there to a more tangible reward than seeing a bar fill up. I mean its basically like making pizza but with murder. It might be cool to allow parts to be sold later in the game though, as I end up with tons and tons of resources I basically cannot use (outside of the occasional epic weapon recipe. 4/5

This is such a fantastic game. I love the medieval feel that comes form it, and the pure artisan-ship and pride that you can get from making your own craft. This should be a norm for crafting of all professions in any game known to man. You can truly feel the gain from your work in this flash game. Imagine the beauty and success if this were to be adapted into any modern mmo or rpg with a full on crafting system. Thank you for the amazing delivery!

Finally the time management game where you don't have to multitask and switch between stations like crazy. The only thing that's driving me nuts is that when i build handle, the piece always moves to the side by pixel when i release mouse button.

Now some suggestions for Jackass 2: To put Levelling into use, only give access to certain parts (in the shop, in the smithery or whatever) after a certain level. Also could you connect the levelling system to the weapon leveling (e.g. Gold for the longsword only with lvl 35 or something similar)

So much for the review, now some playing tips, especially for those who want to play levels again. You do realize, that the rewards in the "poorly locked treasure chests" are random, right? And you do realize, that there aren't enough levels in the story to get every epic weapon? Just keep on playing, there are many treasure chest after the defeat of Dudley. (BTW who named the bad guy "Dudley"? Just hilarious!). Another tip: Don't save up to much epic gadgets, they exist to be used. Infact, I used them quite frequently. One advice though: If you only have 1 of something and you don't plan to put it in a epic gear, dont use it. It is a part of an epic gadget you don't have the plans for. It could be useful later.

Okay, it takes quite something to make me comment to a game and actually review it. First of all 5/5, I played it through. Normally the Papa Games make me puke after a little while. The Annoying Customers who always want to get served as soon as they order tick me off. This was solved pretty good here. It doesn't matter how fast you are, just get your weapons together as good as you can. Then I like it, that you can see your work actually paying off. Plus you can play the support role in battle. Yes, some of the weapons are hard to put together, put no pain, no gain. And the level-system of the weapons is something new to m. I played the game through and roflmao seeing the reward in the end.

Awesome game! It's the first of the crafting genre that I've played, and I think I've been hopelessly spoiled. I love the fight scenes, reminiscent of My Life As A King.

How can paint actually add power/health to the shield? xD And ps.How can a donkey that doesn't have hands work in a blacksmith shop??

Why no replaying levels? Games are supposed to be fun, not something where you have to face life's harsh reality of never being able to go back and accepting losses. Why can't I do multiple saves so I can backtrack? Or just revert state to the beginning of the region?

1. the animals look way too long in your face holding up their weapons when you see how good u did which part i want to continue faster....
2. why do i have to collect the loot actively??? its annoying and no challenge in getting everything
3. there should be a role system ... why is my damage dealer bowman atacked in the same way as my tank- shield man is ??
otherwise nice game and i think there shouldnt be top-comments like oh look its papa sworderia when constructive critical comments would be way more important for the developers
