I'd recommend making shields more difficult to make...perhaps add a small weapon to go with it? A short sword or war axe, perhaps?

There is just one thing I've noticed that really irritates me about this otherwise amazing game. When trying to make an axe, especially the double axe, sometimes the axe blades will try to roll or rotate when you get them close to the shaft. Could never figure out why, but I found that scrapping the axe before I set it fixed the problem about 80% of the time.
Other than that, I've not played many games like this that are actually GOOD. So this one definitely deserves all the respect and recognition it gets.
As others say, getting to see the fruits of the labor involved really makes my day too.
Glad you're enjoying it! The problem you're having with the axes might be the blades are on the wrong sides, they tend to line up funny if they're flip-flopped. It's easier to tell with the other axes types, but the double axe looks nearly the same when the blades are upside-down. If they're not fitting correctly, try dragging the blade over to the opposite side to see if it fits better there.

It was ruined by all the cute monsters and furries. Further, gold does not proper weapons make. Now had it been about humans killing humans, in a very graphic manner, it might have been a nice game. Even just leaving out the fantasy clichés could have made it tolerable. Finally, it is way too easy.

Hey, this looks like a neat new game. Maybe I'll give it a shot. *The Flipline Studios jingle plays* ...Oh no. There goes another week of my life.

Only thing that bothers me,is that he continues his journey even if the soldiers were defeated when i gave them only bad weapons on purpose.

I wish they would admire their weapons for a little less time. I'm flattered and all, but I really have some other weapons I have to get back to

... Could someone kill me, for purposefully making a painfully bad weapon... Just to know how would the client react?

Would be nice if bookmarked sword/axe/shield items wouldn't show up during bow creation, because I often get confused and use the wrong bookmarked item.

Great game! I only planned on playing for a few minutes but find myself playing hours latter. A great twist in crafting games because you can actually see how the warriors fair in battle using your creations!

the only thing that would make this better is if I could buy upgrades, like a line that showed the center for handles and stretching bows or marks for where to hit with a hammer.

Great game and fun over all, though some research wouldn't have gone amiss. You clearly have the basic idea of forging metal down though. Lining up the handles and dropping them into place is strange but at least interesting. Until you get pikes, then it's tedious and frustrating because you have to start the ENTIRE PROCESS OVER if you miss and there are 6 sections to drop into place. Not only is this inaccurate (most polearms start with a solid full length pole and add the handles on afterwards) but tiresome. I ended up just hoping there weren't many pikemen (pikecows? pikebulls?) and throwing a slipshod pike together when one came along. The bow stretching and hammering out the swords is a nice setup, though I don't see why you wouldn't hammer the axes as well. A fun game overall, just a few little things that bog it down. Nice job!
