For those curious about how to play this with SuperNova SWF Enabler plug-in, use this address provided below by copying the entirety of it and pasting it onto the address bar at the top of your browser to ensure that it bypasses the ‘GameShell’ issue that have plagued many earlier games of Kongregate: supernova://play/?swfurl=https://assets.kongregate.com/gamez/0017/7341/live/PapaLouie2.swf?kongregate_game_version=1528489056 Make sure that your latest installation of SuperNova works correctly, as it will not function if it cannot load games that can work fine without this bypassing of the SWF files here (Used Google Chrome dev tools to get the link).

I play this game almost every day and I get SO frustrated. The game is very fun but if you don't pause the game the baddies can kill you. I don't knowwwwww

I appreciate that Flipline made a lot of customer's weapons match their character. Nonetheless, I think some of them are really questionable.

Overall concept is not bad ,but this game, sometimes can be very frustrating. Even when not going after all badges, the basic mechanic is unnecessary overcomplicated. Too many characters, unnecessary spliting one skill per one char, throwing weapons are ridiculous (you need hit bosses few times more than using other weapons, also are too hard to precisely target, in small areas are nearly useless), some characters don't have any skill, rescuing char automatically ends level.

Its too bad the controls on this game aren't better. They are mediocre at best. If they were improved, it would be a half decent game.

I ignored this for badge of the day thinking it's another clone of papa louie game, but I was surprised this is actually a decent game. And much better compared to the first version. Ended up trying to complete all missions for all stages because the skills are actually creative. Downside is that you can't restart a mission once you reach a checkpoint, and that the controls are a bit clunky. I'll give it 5 stars to encourage better papa louie games lol.

I'd rate it 0 stars if I could. The controls are so bad and later levels require precision landing and attacks. WTF. Buttons often not responsive.

@CeartGoLeor: I don't know about "stalling". If you meant loading issues, I didn't have any problems with that. It took my computer about 5 seconds to load a stage. The only possible annoying thing are the credits when you first start the game and it takes 20 seconds saying who created the game, but that's the longest loading part in the game for me.

A decent game, but in addition to the various flaws mentioned earlier, both the Glide ability and the "gun" style weapon (such as Boomer's firecracker) have some issues. For instance, the little lift at the beginning of a glide means that with a bit of skill, some double jump challenges (like rescuing Kingsley, L5C2) can be completed with a glide, and the firecracker is much better at harming certain bosses (not needing to jump on the final boss to make him vulnerable), but much worse at harming others (the cheese-dropping saucers are weird)

I give it 3 stars. There's actually a good platformer there, a challenging difficulty curve, new abilities to get the hang of over time etc. Unfortunately, all the stalling drags it down.
Not being able to retry the level without going through the main menu and having the level select, character select, level loading buffer each time.
Level nine is a particular problem. Every time you enter, you have to go through unskippable cutscenes plus the loading the main menu, loading the level again when you die. There's no continues which is fine for the challenge. But it means all the stalling again and again. There's a tough section to climb racing against 1-hit KO spikes in between the early boss encounter and big fight.

it is the only Papa Louie game that I can tolerate, yes, because it is an arcade game, and not another clone of poor food game, so ok, let's play and have fun

The only thing I really dislike about this game is that it looks and sounds a lot like some other Papa games that I really hated.

Flipline just isn't good at game design. Enemies you never see can target you from off screen. You can't get on a ladder off an enemy bounce or special. But, there are places where the platforms are one wide and enemies you can get stuck bouncing on leaving you the choice of bouncing forever or falling to your death as there is nowhere safe to land. Enemy respond time after hits is sometimes shorter than their invincibility meaning you can lose hit points to enemies you can't hurt. All in all not worth the time for the badges.

I appreciate that instead of being given the option to restart at the last checkpoint on death like in any other game, you have to go through a lengthy journey through the start screen to continue.

Wait a minute... in the intro it shows two people working. That would have been a huge help in the actual games where it's just one poor schmo taking on dozens of customers every day with increasingly ridiculous demands..

1/5 everything is bad. all the characters look like deformed aliens. music is boring. gameplay is probably the most basic form of platforming. there arent any gimmicks or interesting mechanics to make the player think. game is stupidly easy. if you want an actual challenging platforming game, play vcr. 1/5 game is trash and developer is trash.

and here i was thinking it was going to be a complete grindfest like the first one. had the easy badge within minutes. even then, when i finally checked out the old save i saw i had (took me straight to the end, yay), i can't imagine it exactly taking the patience of the prophets themselves to get through this one.

I don't mind the character switching. I don't mind the backtracking, hell, I enjoy it (kind of metroidvania-y). What I DO mind is hiding goodies down some blind jumps and death pits down others. That ish gets real annoying REAL fast

Oh, another papa game for the BOTD, nooo, but wait it is a platformer, nope it doesn't help, it is still a worthless crap.
