The mini game where the lights go out and you're supposed to follow the eyes is incredibly frustrating, because the people walk inside of each other all the time, so that their eyes exactly line up and you just have to make a 50/50 guess. Now that I'm halfway up the difficulty level on that game, this happens at least once every single time thanks to the 4 or 5 extra people that wander in, and it takes all skill out of the equation.

I really don't like this series, mostly because it reminds me of my time working at restaurants and it being so tedious, but this game is better than the rest. Good job

i made prudence a massive waffle/pancake/toast combo stack. 24 pancakes tall it was. with everything. including the bacon. she didn't like it. now she hasn't come in the shop for 3days. don't think she's talking to me anymore.......

Question: How can they rate me on my placement of toppings if the bananas are sandwiched between two pancakes? Do they have X-Ray vision?!

Great game, love the minigames and having to do drinks at higher levels. It actually makes it more challenging as you go along instead of just repetition to get ranks. Great work.

The + points to this game: minigames, mixable batter, drinks, a parade, lots of customers, pets (too bad they don't do anything) :)

Huh. a Pizza-boy playing on a Minigame Show every day, which lasts for about 15 seconds per minigame. Yeah, that's public cable for ya'!

I hope papa does go get one of those store where the cook makes the food in front of the customers, because with only one employee that would suck.

they should make papas bakeria, like you can make cakes and all that crap, and they should let the other character that you dont pick should be your co-worker but you have to unlock things and they will help fill orders.:)

For everyone that doesn't know, you DON'T have to cook everything in order. You can take a pancake/waffle/slice of french toast from ANYWHERE in the stack. You can just cook a couple at a time and toss what you don't need if it gets too high.

"Update v 1.1 (03/06/2012):
- Fixed bug with the tray getting stuck sometimes if you quickly added a ticket to the tray"
---> Got the problem on v1.1 today...

Wish I could invest in 3 plates to put the finished pancakes/french toast/waffles on instead of having to put them there in the right order all the time.

I think the Spin' Sauce and Jojo Burger are the 2 minigames where lag can be USEFUL. Why? Cause you have more time to react.

It would be nice, if you could throw a bad coffe mug away. Because you have no chance if to throw it away after you messed it up.

This chain of restaurants is the only one that their employees spend their earnings on improving it.
How do they do it?

pro-tip on handling drinks: 1) make sure your grill is constantly working. pre-cook lots of the simple things (i.e. plain pancakes, plain waffles), you don't lose score for wasted food. 2) buy the automatic drink dispenser. 3) buy all the grill timers. 4) as each customer comes in, get his order, make sure you have enough ingredients already done to make it (if not, toss them on the grill the next time it's done), make his food, THEN make his drink, give it to him, move on. so far getting 98-100% on all 4 categories, despite the annoyingness.
Great tips! We also just updated so customers will be okay waiting longer once you get the Drink Station, which should help with Waiting Score dropping dramatically.

sell to 7 customers in a week, which comes out to 35 meals. Employee gets $145 for weeks pay. Employee profits $4.14 per breakfast without tip. average breakfast is normally $6. Papa profits $65/week. That's some cheap rent.

These series along with Cactus McCoy, or however that cactus guy name is, will always be my favorites. Every time when a new Papa's somethingria or a cactus McCoy comes out I am like: Yaaay!! And when I start playing it I know it is fun! Keep up the good work Flipline Studios!

and how much does the stuff that increases score increase it by? does it makes sense to save up $1000 for a crown? do three small tables give more or less bonus than one big one? etc

i agree with thekow and furfui 100%, i'm tired of these same stupid ass games ALWAYS getting badges. now i'm picturing Greg, Nerdook and the creator of this game all sweaty in a bed cuz that's the only way that this would keep happening.

Rated one star, because it's the same as every other Papa's Franchise game. What an unbelievably lazy series. Boring, uninteresting gameplay that hasn't changed in, what, five games? Different foods != diverse gameplay.
