The artwork is beautiful... but the rhyme in which the story was told was not very good, and the ending was kind of predictable. Oh look, a dead lady and child and an outcast in the room, who did not do the murdering but is covered in blood. I wonder what will happen.

Beautiful artwork, but would be served by having the narration written by someone with a better command of the language.

Great concept, I love games like these! So beautiful and moving. I do with that there was more interaction as a player, than clicking to just keep the story moving forward. Others have suggested making the story branch out in different endings depending on our choices, and I think that would definitely be one great option too.

I agree with Kvlticon, this game would greatly benefit from offering the choice. I'd love to see Loondon burn, even though I like the ending as it stands, as well :) 5/5

"Jonah saw something that made him stop"
My first thought after I walked forward and saw a Weeping Angel in front of the gate.

Here, oh readers, we come to an end.
The end of a tale, of a man and his friend.
Crying won't cure this mischievous ending,
nor all those londoners condescending...

Beautiful and emotional game. The music stacks nicely with the game. The pictures remind me of The Triplets of Belleville... Is it only me? Loved it. 5/5 :)

Just finished it..and in my opinion, this has to be rated in parts:
The music: It fits the games extremely well, makes it even more beautiful.
The graphics: Are just really well designed, makes the game more credible.
The story: Is the typical 'The Hunchback of Notre-Dame' story. Which is really nice and rare to see in a game of the 21st century.
The lesson we all learned: You shouldn't mock someone for being different.
Great game overall, deserves a 5/5 and fave.

The text is a bit rushed, but the seamless graphics and heart-wrenching storyline of Loondon make this game a true masterpiece. The story is embedded with many hidden motifs and devices, and every frame tells a thousand words. Here are some of the most evident elements, from my eyes:
Jonah's past life: Paradise, a world of comfort and goodness
Loondon Poster: Temptation, Seduction
Loondon: Sin City
Mechanic: A good person in the wrong place; repentance and- in some ways- a reflection of human nature at its core
Strange Man: Fate and judgement
Jonah: Savior
Perfect 5/5. A brilliant work that has forever graced the Flash community.

He sacrificed his life for his friend, and saved the very people who was going to put him to death. Very moving when one sees the world, in a place from which we thought we had escaped.

They say, "Evil prevails when good men fail to act." What they ought to say is, "Evil prevails." - Nicholas Cage as Yuri Orlov in Lord Of War. Good Jonah acted all the time, but in the end... Awesome story.

I remember playing this game a few years ago. I don't know if it's the nostalgic guy waking up (I call him Tim) or the fact that it's just a beautiful game, but I feel a deep sense of rising sadness when playing this game. I found the graphics beautiful, the story fascinating and the music really puts the atmosphere into effect. It really is a beautiful game to play if you enjoy immersing in storylines other than just gameplay.

This game moves you unlike any others on the internet. Just because your different doesent mean you have no potential or life. Just take this into consideration and dont mock someone that is different. Jonah would of been a hero anyday and that is what makes this game such a great one
