I like how the penalty for having a lot of homeless people is like nothing. The people work less productively, but you save so much housing space that it doesn't even matter.

This is pretty cool. Nice bgm and game play. However, it does feel a bit like the UK situation with people flooding in with no housing for them.

Here's a suggestion, a mid game upgrade that allows you to put more people in other productions building. Because after a while it becomes, "Oh there's not enough jobs ? Let's put down 10 more stone mines to get an exta 60 jobs"

Just completed it again since the latest upgrade.
Why did you get rid of the storyline for the secret society of the key- The one they gain eternal life? That was a great ending.
I didn't, it's still there! You just need two teleporters and 500+ citizens to unlock it (as before, but maybe you accidentally got these requirements last time and not now).

this is my 3rd playthorough and I keep losing my previous saves (from months ago) how can i skip the tutorial and just start the scenarios?

I found a bug I think. If you have more than one Computer Chip Factory without the Die Shrink upgrade and you buy the upgrade for only one of them through the management you can keep buying it and have your Factories actually consume negative amounts of Refined Metals.

"build two teleporters surrounded by botanical garden" I think this one might be bugged ? I need to put 2 botanical gardens on the side ? Or the botanical gardens need to form "a flower" arround the teleporter ?
Yeah maybe I should clarify this one! You need to build the following pattern twice: a teleporter with a botanical garden to the left, top, right and bottom
Thanks for reporting this, I can't reproduce it though. Do you have enough workers to fill all the priority slots? Also, please note that decreasing priority doesn't rebalance workers.

I restarted the scenario it happened on, but I had a little over 3,600 citizens when the bug occurred. I didn't notice anything funny when I paused, but I noticed they did suddenly start moving when I first went into the options. Also, I don't know if this is important to your diagnostics or not, but it started with a single machine parts factory where the 2 workers never came, and then I think it slowly spread across my farms until my entire city was having the problem.
I fixed a bug that maybe could result in this, but I'm not sure whether it fixed it. Let me know if it happens again though, then I'll look into it more!

I'm so happy to see all of these new buildings and tasks. They are all interesting and add a lot to the game. Though, I seem to have run into a small issue where my citizens don't go anywhere or do anything for a number of days and then will suddenly go back to work for a while and then freeze up again. I've tried adjusting the path threads, but it doesn't seem to help with them suddenly stopping.
Hey, I'm happy you've enjoyed the update! Also, thanks for the report! That obviously shouldn't be happening! How many citizens do you have? Just for my diagnostics: if you pause the game for a pretty long time (maybe a minute) while this is happening and unpause, do your citizens instantly/really quickly move again?

In the free play worlds, I'm often running into rebellious citizens who refuse to work, even when they're happy. It'll go days with every resource at "Your citizens produced 0 today and 0 yesterday", until the starving lot suddenly decides to work for a couple of days, restoring happiness, then stops, starves, and spends several days laying around starving again.
If your city is very big, it may be that citizens don't get paths fast enough from the pathfinding thread. In this case, you can maybe reduce this effect by going to the Game Menu > Advanced Settings > Increase the Pathfinding Thread Limit. Otherwise it's a bug (and I'd agree that it's not a great situation anyway, maybe I should just snail down the simulation if the pathfinding thread is too far behind)

I loved that this game had a bit about the climate crisis happening.
"Eat less meat, vote, don't fly." Amazing game! :)

A feedback from someone that played it all: Lab seems to be the most underwhelming building, I've rarely used it, aside from gathering knowledge. The boost isnt worth it IMO.

After "The Machine" ending, I've found quite an interesting scenario: My population started to decrease. Don't know if its because they're old, but I've increase the max cap from 3k to 3,5k, and started checking the age, there was a gap from 30 to 50 years, meaning there was no one within that age range. Could it be work of the Secret Society? Hmmmm

After progressing, would be great to have a button to mass destroy and/or replace. Also add things in lines instead of single units

This game isn't amazingly complicated but it's surprisingly deep and very very fun. one of the best browser games i've played in a while.

This game is simple, but I REALLY enjoyed it :) Got sucked in so fast and, "Whoops! There goes two and a half hours." Great background music too. Thank you for making it.

After spending 10 hours of a day into my city, I've managed to finally beat even God himself, by building a L O N G restaurant over the city.

I surprisingly really enjoy this game, but there are significant game-ending scenarios that I feel need to be addressed-
In the first world, if you forget to pause the game and harvest all the stones and forget what you're doing and you absentmindedly try to build more buildings but haven't done the stone-transporter... Yeah, you're refreshing the page. Also, I started the second world and I can't build a machine partys factory due to not being able to generate any knowledge

Food shortages drain happiness based on total shortage, not shortage per capita. So if a relatively small food shortage almost instantly drains happiness with a high population.

Came for the daily badge and found myself going for the medium. Then I found myself continuing to play and see what else this game has to offer. It's amazing.

Great game! Suggestion: The "Assign Workers" menu should tally up how many workers I've assigned total, so that I can see if I've gone over my total number of citizens, or if I still have room to assign more.
