First one was good. This one was even better. Management was very clunky in places though. You should be able to prioritize certain stone piles or forests when clearing land, there should be a "I don't care if it's 1% regrown, demolish this forest this very instant" option, and you should give the option to straight up increase/decrease the number of workers in a particular industry, instead of jacking up the minimum every time and possibly lowering the minimum of others.

I was wondering why there was such an advanced zoom option, until I actually LOOKED. The detail you put in is IMPRESSIVE! And it's nice to find easter eggs like a man who rides what I think is a segway.

Does there happen to be any way to remove Alien Ruins? My explorers have analysed them as much as they can, but the Ruins simply stay there, unmovable, completely blocking an entire vertical space no matter what I do. Is there some kind of special building to remove them or one that allows building on top of them?
You may have played the original game! https://www.kongregate.com/games/flori9/the-final-earth
If you enjoyed that I think you'll like this sequel too!

Medical happiness never seems to go over 50. I have the secret key research, the super computer research, all of the unique buildings, and every other happiness value at 100.

[Spoilers ahead]
If a pub has a key symbol, I think it means that it is "claimed" by the secret society. They tend to go there every night, and non members may not enter. Deleting the building that has a key on it allows you to change which pub they have claimed.

If you build a overhang over a tree or rock, then remove the tree or rock, you can no longer build there, if you destroy the empty space, the whole building glitches out. Reloading the save seems to fix it.

We did it boys, all problems are fixed, all the super computers have been built, and happiness is higher than ever, remaining at a stable :D.
Thank you for this masterpiece, loved every moment of it.

When im talking about "static image" im not talking about the graphics.
Who cares about those.
Im playing the game and some 25?% of the time nothing is happening.
I dont get ressources. I cant do anything other than waiting for the game to resume. Its as if the games pauses regularly for no good reason.
This effect is even more pronounced on the second map where people will spend large amounts of time flying between the islands instead of doing work.
Oh and the delete+click isnt working, atleast for me.
There needs to be a faster way to delete a few dozen tiles at once.

Could we assign some buildings to have a preferred level of education for its workers?
[Spoilers, I guess]
Mostly just for secret society and the machine.

There might be a glitch with birth control. it seems if you go from 'strongly discourage having children' to the next setting, and back, the population will just keep going up instead of stabilizing like it's meant to.
I'll check this! Population growth in general is a bit of a complicated formula, so it may also just take a lot of time to stabilize. I'll see whether I can make it a bit more intuitive.

Loved it, But once you start running out of food, your happiness hits 0 so fast. It becomes near impossible to get enough food again.
I'm happy to hear that! And it should be possible: if you have no food, food-producing workers do not slow down when your happiness is low. It might just take a little while for your food stock to recover after you built a few more farms!

I wish you could stop people from working instead of having to destroy the building... all my people keep going to entertainment instead of resources.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is there a way to get rid of ruins, once you explore them they just take up a spot that could be used for construction?

I've seen the elephant! <3
PS: A villa alone on it's own island isn't used, albeit it's supposed to have it's own teleporter...
Cool! Yeah, it's a bit complicated, as it never gets residents as the game thinks it's unreachable because that teleporter can only be used by residents... I'll see whether I can do something about it at some point.

(spoiler alert!)
I think cutting edge houses needs a little buff. Modern rustic home is much easier to make it up to 100 quality, just put 1 row of park on top and bottom and 100% of all houses guaranteed. 5 residents with full upgrades doesn't sound so appealing when you can just stack houses all you want.
Oh and will there be alien contact in the future update?
Maybe they do, but I'm not sure. More residents per home gives you a more compact city which saves on transportation (Teleporters aren't cheap, and Hyper Lifts aren't instant). Plus the Cutting Edge House can give your citizens a longer life too. And about alien contact: who knows? :P
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Once living research becomes available, is there any good reason not to build exclusively alien houses, maybe with some cutting edge houses mixed in? Rustic and Spacious houses require expensive resources to fully upgrade, while Alien gets you 100 happiness for super cheap.

A playtime counter would be nice, since it is relevant for achieving highscores.
And I'm wondering if there are factors that affect the arrival of new citizens: Will come more or more frequently if I build certain buildings or have certain happiness, or is it plainly at fixed time intervals?
Good idea! Citizens from your ship/previous city arrive at fixed time intervals, but the number of babies that is born depends on the happiness and (if researched) on the setting in the Medical Clinic.

the amount of nightclubs you need to keep the people happy is insane :) 3500 population and still growing. Thanks for the update
Yeah, these people sure like partying! :P Make sure to upgrade them by the way, that saves a lot. And you're welcome, cool to hear that you've built such a big city!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I notice that you get a lot more land with the multi island map then the plain big map, or maybe that's just me :D But fun game, and an active dev, good to see.

Why does a civilization with flying saucers and teleporters not have the technology to build *bridges* between asteroids?
This limit has now been removed! Once you're close to it you can click on the citizen count to change it. Do note that, while I've spend a lot of time optimizing the game, it may start to lag if you have a lot of citizens, depending on the speed of your computer.

What exactly is the point of the game having a Day-Night cycle other than having the player look at a static image for parts of the game?
I assure you you won't be looking at a static image in the night after some time anymore! :) I just liked to give your citizens a bit of a structured life, and night clubs during the day wouldn't feel very logical. And the exact duration of the night is a bit of a trade off between the empty first few days and the busy endgame.
There is no Scenario 3 right now unfortunately, but I certainly have it planned! There are still plenty of buildings and technologies to discover after winning both scenarios, though. :)
No, it's "Stop the Darkness" adjacent. :P Oh, and thank you for subtly pointing out my spelling mistake, I'll fix that I suppose. :) I fixed your forest management problem, by the way.

I have a weird bug where sometimes on a stack if buildings one square refuses to get build or if i want to click on a building it only selects when i click above it.
Its annoyig cause it messed up an elevater vertical i was building.
I'm playing in Firefox, not sure if that matters?
Yeah, the supercomputer cost is a bit ridiculous. It's really meant as a reward for people who really want to make a huge city and spend a long time on that, but you don't really need to build it in my opinion.
I replied to the others as well, so I'll just copy that :) Did you still have workers at stone mines? Teleporters bring in big meteorites that still need to be mined.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I have 3 stone teleporters but I am producing 0 stone? And it's not getting eaten up by machine factory, because they are also producing 0...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I don't really like how pushy it is compared to the first version, which was a lot more free flow. For example, in the second mission it kept pushing me towards a transport pads, even though I actually needed two and was running out of stone already and probably could have used a teleporter more.
If you'd like a more free flow experience (which I completely understand!), you could try out a Free Play scenario! Start it by choosing New Game in the Game Menu.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
another question, do i need free stone miners to work stone teleporters? the 1 person employed at the stone teleporter is only in charge of teleporting in the stone, but then alot of my stones just sit there without being mined.
so i basically need alot of stone mines even though i dont have anymore natural stones left?
