For those who haven't noticed yet (I didn't, at first): you DO NOT HAVE TO defend when the game says you do. If you choose to do something else that day instead, the "threat" just increases. Nothing terrible happens. Then you can reduce it with a regular walkaround the next day (or later) instead -- or even just let your automatic daily threat reduction take care of it, if you like. I am considering putting together a FAQ with all the little stuff like that which I figured out (or was told by other nice people). If I do, I'll paste a link here and hopefully the devs can perma-link it in the notes or something, since there is no forum on Kong for this game.

Question 1: Who keeps putting explosive barrels all around the city? Question 2: Why do they leave money inside their exploding barrels?

*Sigh* I really -want- to like this game. But having to reload the page, losing whatever little progress I made, every time I play a mission gets really, really old.

Any way we can sell upgrades? I unfortunately chose to increase attraction to one area. Having to defend EVERY OTHER TIME I GO OUT is a huge chore.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
its really sad how 2 outposts can be attacked at once. You can choose what outpost you want to save but after that you've lost everything in the other outpost and you need to completely redo it again. Please fix this! + this up so the devs can see this

Pretty much the same exact game as the first two? Ugh, good game but add something more...listen to those who love it, Devs who listen to their communities atleast in positive ways are always improving their franchise <3 if you agree so Decision 4 is downright amazing

Some useful tips:
1.If you want some more survivors, try rambling Westside Area I.
2.Don't worry if you bought 3 special upgrades for the outpost without the "General" upgrade. Just get 2 captains, and get 5000 money, and just click it. The upgrade will complete, and additional 6 cells will be unlocked permanently.
3.This is for those who didn't find the last Inspector (Rob): Inspectors will always stay in the area where the shelter is. There are 6 areas in the game. So go search the area where you didn't find any of the Inspectors. I got the fifth in the Freeside, and got the sixth in the Broken Hills Area.
4. I think that the Machete is the best for melee, the Minigun is the best for Medium, The Phantom bow is the best for long range, The Ballistic Shield for defense and the Panzermine for trapping. So I suggest you to equip these weapons. These may help in defeating enemies easily.
I kindly request you to hit the + button so that everybody could see this and get benefited.

I have an idea for decision 4: How about making more city parts? I mean since the first game it always were 7 parts to conquer. How about 16?Please do it :). also I think you could add a 4th fraction (Humans/Zombies/Ogres/?) Another idea is to make more humans and the humans also raid each other. anyway awesome game like always :) 5/5

Funny, as soon as I said that I'll comment every time the game freezes, I finished the last two upgrades without a hitch...

I'm 2 upgrades away from 100% completion and the game froze on me again for the zillionth time. So I'll just write a comment every time the game freezes again just to point out how often that happens.

A true flame throwers should be like this...If the flamethrower hits the enemy then that should cause the enemy to receive delay damages for short or long period of time.

I think it was around the time I jumped into the middle of a pack of mutants and slaughtered them all with a machete that I realized that I'M the monster in this game.

Wolle: I can overpower the enemy now. :-) I'm not sure what you're talking about though. Is there a particular phase of the game where you feel underpowered? Also, re: finding people, it does need a little bit of tweaking to make it a little less haphazard, but I have found that it's not that difficult to grab new personnel. Just do some sweeps and also do the massacre zone; there is always somebody waiting right at the entry area in that one.

In my opinion, Medieval is still the best part of the Decision Series.
This part is a little bit too hard, the new survivor feature isn´t well implementated. AND at some point in the game, after hundreds of days, you should be able to Overpower the Enemy.

Something seems to have happened with the stability of the game. When this was first uploaded, I was not having problems with lag and screens that fail to load. After not playing for about a week, I returned to a missing save file, and a game that lags and frequently freezes outright. Clearing cache doesn't fix it, running on lower graphics doesn't fix it, and using a different browser doesn't fix it. Something is definitely up though, because I don't have any of these issues on any other game I currently play.

I normally love the decision games, but this having to find workers to people to do certain jobs has just taken the fun out of it for me.

i think the "2 attacks in 1 day" thing is starting to be a problem cause its really annoying like you just capture the area then the same area and the other area with a powerful outpost is under attack you choose the powerful outpost then the next day the other one is gone...

How do I find the missing areas? In some places I have roman-numeraled parts of the neighborhood which are not available to me, but are clearly "there" -- somewhere. What do I have to do to enter them?

Found doctor "bear" in one of the rambling mission. He's an engineer. Then I found Matthew, the biologist, who is a civilian.

Sniping is for the pro's. Unfortunately, there is so much hiccups in the game which makes it near impossible to use the high damage sniper rifle. Oh well, time to get out ol' reliable... The Chain-gun.

The factories are... Simply not worth it. For example, the last upgrade costs $12k but only provides $200 a day. That means it'll take 60 days just to pay for itself. That's insane.

Does anyone know where to begin to find Dr, Bear , I got 100% on easy but still can not find him , I know from reading other post he can show up anywhere but there got to be places where he shows up more often

I still get the slowdown after playing this game for a while. The mouse cursor can get laggy by up to a couple of seconds, while movement with the keyboard is still normal. This usually happens after there are a lot of creatures

My only decision in this game : Kill zombies, get money, buy new weapons, upgrade defenses, ramble the area, find new survivors, shoot barrels, die.

For good money income, get 100% progress on the first 4 city blocks, then just farm civilians and engineers and fill your whole team with them, you should be gaining +2000 per day, if you are having trouble with money to upgrade the factories and outposts and militia to level 3, do your best to just secure the fourth city block, them just do the massacre mission a lot of times, it gives you over 10000+ if you kill enough enemies, I recommend you to always max pistol first, really, from the start to the fourth city block all you need is the pistol and patience onwards it's the fully upgraded machete and fully upgraded minigun, if you are having trouble doing the massacre mission, you suck, joke, but it really helps when you are low on money, I managed to do some sucessful massacre missions using only a fully upgraded desert eagle on hard, but a few tries later the game started spawning A LOT of overlords, so I switched to minigun, seriously, it's the best weapon in the game

I was really enjoying this game until I tried to load the big map in the middle. It stops at "preparing graphics", and never finishes, despite taking up 60% of my processor and memory.
I have an old computer, and I wouldn't care if the lag made it unplayable, but it shouldn't die during a loading screen like this, especially when there are still system resources available. Maybe chromium's fault though, idk. I turned flash storage to max, enabled hardware acceleration, etc. Nothing helped.

For those who complain about money problems and factories not producing much, its not that big of a deal. The factories are meant to cover expenses of your towers and militia so remember that you have a budget and try to spend as little as possible on expensive things or unnecessary things. Also if you have a tower, get the upgrade special accountant to minimize the cost of maintain the tower and if you can, keep the upkeep at zero. Later you might want to keep 1 or 2 areas with only factories that produce influence where huge hordes of zombies can be created via factories, it is a good way to grind for money if you don't put up towers or militia.
