Also, 9th wave of Beacon doesn't seem to be working for me? (I unlocked it fairly early after building a 16-slot monstrosity outpost)

Many years down the track. Game still fun, though the same few minor frustrations continue to occur. Wish you had the option to demolish existing buildings, maybe to build something better, maybe to cut costs, maybe to get SOME materials/personnel back. Infinite sprint is cool except it sometimes kicks in when you didn't want it and you can't attack while sprinting. Being able to train citizens would be nice, even if only to soldiers. (Since it can be argued that engineers and military specialists require training not available in a post-apoc setting) Companions and militia become kinda super weak and almost irrelevant late game, you should be able to give your companions orders like militia and you should be able to direct people to gun nests and towers.

Pls buff the outpost gun's damage. It is very weak and i would be able to clear raids easier on my own. If not, you could also add a option for you to repel the attack on an area by foot instead of using the outpost.

Those trios of Outpost Riflemen would be a lot more useful if they picked off leakers near the gate, rather than shooting at the same point that three antitank guns are already blasting the hell out of.

Main problems are with the jump ability of the mutant bosses. The fact that they have infinite leap is a big problem as using gun nests is now impossible. It is a good mechanism but the jumps should be limited.
Would be good to see a further exploration of the zombies vs mutants idea as you usually just end up late to the end of the bloodbath apart from in the outer area. It would be good to see in certain areas that you can unleash a zombie horde to kill mutants, given that mutant hordes can be very hard to deal with it could be a viable strategy.
also find it hard to justify the use of things like the flamethrower with its low damage, especially with 5 weapons to hand

Should add some extra keyboard controls, really clunky when NPCs start talking, or clicking leave, or swinging the camera around when you hover on the menu.

Some minor tweaks:
Like the previous game, you often end up playing "hide and zombie" searching for the last undead to clear an area- backtracking is frustrating
zombies on the ground are too hard to hit with fire, there should be an option to KO a rising zombie in melee
Zombies arent drawn to the sound of gunfire appreciably, so players can make foolish engagements when surrounded
It's nice the gun turrets pan slowly now, but the camera pan needs to be slowed also because they feel hard to control
Explosions of barrels needs to be tweaked to the damage is exponential nobody likes being "inside" or "outside" a blast radius and everyone gets killed by a gas tank because there is no way of gauging how large the blast will be.
I don't see the need for civilian classes at all, it's over-complicated. If you keep them remove civilians, failing all else let me train the civs somehow

I gotta say recruiting different kinds of survivors is fun but most of the missions I go on are just rambling searching for engineers, builders, and captains. Kind of wish there was an education mechanic where I could turn citizens into other things.

@ EdisM19 there are actually TWO bosses that will give you a "win" when you defeat them. one is in the bonus area "the lair" in the NW, the other will appear when doing the "scout" mission in the NE area "freeside".

Apparently, buying and upgrading a weapon, then exiting to the menu gives you the weapon and upgrades for free. That's convenient.

one day, game devs will learn how to balance the rocket launcher. Today is not that day, and I'm certainly not complaining, lol

the most best way to finish the game is to take over the infected spots (thats what i call them) it may take long but when all the threat is gone. no zombies will ever attack u again. but its still a threat when there are some mosquitos and stuff. ok why am i talking about that nvm. takes long but now you can focus peacfully. atleast make few more inspectors too i need more weapons . and give the factories a buff upgrade u know? money is very hard to scrounge like a squirrel. please press that + sign so this can be alive! its a tip :3

Killed the Super Mutant Boss, got the Hard Badge and died of some explosion, mission failed lol! bye bye game, it has been fun!

The best weapon: The machete. It can get you through any level, except survival and the super mutant boss, and it gives 300% cash. The only other weapon you will need is the min-gun for those previous things I mentioned. To get it, just upgrade the first melee weapon you get to max.

My only impression of this game is that it is red. Just, overwhelmingly red. I have never seen a redder game, and that includes the game actually called Red.

Needa coupla extra bucks on your rampage? Shooting up the ATM after hacking it gives you 50 or so. Post apocalyptic capitalism ftw!

After having explored 4 territories, 2 encampments and 1 massacre, there are no more frontier outpost missions for me to do, which leaves me stuck. Seems like a bug? Have had it happen during 2 playthrough attempts.

Pro Tricks: #1_Build the factory of an area after maxing out the shelter and tower. #2_As soon as you unlock the knife, max it out ASAP. It may not be the best weapon, but it's definitely the most useful because of the massive reward (300%). The machete (maxed version of the knife) is especially powerful for single trolls and crowds of small zombies. To clear a zone with the machete, max out the kevlar ,max out the "Agility" skill to compensate the speed impact of the kevlar, max out the "Berserk" skill (it'll be useful because you'll get hit A LOT, and the "Stamina" skill for the same reasons. #3_ Use the sniper. It is the ONLY way to kill the Super Mutant because of it's colossal damage and range.

#4_ If there's a zombie outbreak, just carry on. I mean, yeah, you'll lose a zone, but it makes the city more manageable, and towers are very weak against large crowds of zeds. #5_ Only max out one zone at a time, or it will be PAINFULLY long because of the non-stop zombie outbreaks. #6_ The radar is your best friend.
