My god. Shot out of a tank, hit with the golden gun about 15 times, nuked about 80, had his chest blown up, hit my a jeep, hit 3 suns, shot by dogs 4 times, blown up by 32 ground and air bombs, getting cut up by Dad twice, and landing on spikes twice! All to get 5 million feet! And the turtle STILL smiled!

I get the fact that the turtle doesn't want to go into its shell cus its head and arms and legs and all its fleshy parts are bouncier than its shell...what I don't understand is how I can survive a bomb, a nuke, a bomb TIED to MY chest, etc. but spikes on the road will kill me instantly, again, even though I have a very hard shell.

If you run out of bullets in the golden gun click the gun in the lefthand corner of the screen to get a full magazine!!!!

Once the turtle is gone, and all ammo are used... you just got to wait and wait till the turtle hits the ground.
There should be a speedup mode for this very boring part...

I'm a security guard...sat and played this for 8 hours straight while occasionally looking up at the building to make sure it wasn't on fire.

Press the + To keep this alive , If you are hitting the floor multiple times spamming a and d Will take you forward and give you a little boost

If you run out of bullets for your golden gun and can't seem to go far enough there is a really simple answer. Just let yourself slow down and hit the ground a bunch, then when your about to stop drop a nuke. Do this over and over untill you pick up some ammo. Hit + so others can see.

I NEED THAT SHEll. IT CAN SURVIVE CHAIN SAWS, THE SUN, PELICANS, GUN SHOTS AND ROCKETS, NUKES, GOOMBAS, RANDOM SPIKES, WALKING BOMBS, BANANANANANAS, SPACE, EVEN MORE NUKES, FALLING FROM HIGH HEIGHTS, and amazingly BEING SHOT OUT OF CANNONS AND THE NEWGROUNDS TANK. I need that shell!

3.853.925 ft done with 60 nuke, most of all achievement (for the time medal, simple leave the game on and go take a walk). Upgraded cannon to tank level and gold weapon. DON'T shoot all your bullet immediatly, use the nuke and when the turtle reach the right screen use ONE bullet to make him return to the right position. Buy also the chest bomb, i'm very unlucky whit the spikes sphere/walls and whit that you have more possibilities to go further... Good Luck!!!
PS: i divided the nuke for ft to avoid the waste of nukes:
30 nuke= 1.500.000ft;
15 nuke= 2.000.000ft;
00 nuke= 3.000.000ft;

After being launched out of a tank, 36 nukes, 32 bullets from golden gun, 5 bombs, bouncing 30+ times, getting burnt 2 times, and finally being caught by a UFO to meet his demise, my little friend made it to 3,486,101 feet. Amassing 660,436 dollars, I think he will be happy in his new home on Mars. Although I'm almost certain 660,436 dollars isn't going to cover his injuries and radiation sickness. used all my ammo, used my rocket and 15 nukes and decided not to sit there and wait for it to end. Got up took a shower came back and i had full ammo and the turtle was still going. I would love to hear the story behind why the turtle wanted to be shot 50+ miles multiple times if there is one.

This game has changed my life. I clicked on a facebook link claiming "You have been launching reptiles wrong your whole life". It was true! For years I have been flinging hard shelled scaly creatures using an oversized slingshot and trebuchet. After I played this game I have started to used cannons and jetpacks. Thank you ForeverKul and Kongregate, now I have tripled my Turtle-tossing output!

You know... 3 million feet is equal to 568.18 miles. Yep that means in about a hundred nukes are being pointed at one turtle that seems immortal ever since he got shot out of a tank and the only thing that can kill him is aliens and spikes. 3 million feet is also enough radius to create a GINORMOUS hole in America.
