The one thing I would change is make it so that the yellow boxes that show you where you can go are always there, instead of just whejn you hover the mouse over the night

I was really impressed by the final boss battle. I tried really hard to "break" it by freeing the girl without taking the enemy queen, but there is just no way. I got all the pawns except the last one too, but after that point you can't stop the queen from protecting the final white pawn, so there is no way to take it without dying.

The game wouldn't load for me when I clicked it. It stayed stubborn even after I refreshed the page. However, when I disabled Flash and refreshed the page, the game started up as nothing happened. I hope this helps anybody with the some problem as me.

I see an error after the loading progress bar:
> abort(114). Build with -s ASSERTIONS=1 for more info.
Safari on MacOS, but I can normally play HTML/JS games

Thoroughly enjoyed this game. Just the right amount of frustration and reward and a unique take on the puzzle genre. Great work!

I didn't expect too much, but I was actually blown away. You're a mad genius, and I look forward to the next game you make.

That was a REALLY nice idea... but I can't count the amount of steps wasted on trying to avoid being captured by some of the pieces, when those ended up being the winning moves. It's good that my friend reminded me of what happened with the bishop by getting stuck there.

The minimum move count I accomplished on this game was 348 moves. The segments between pieces are minimized, as is the queen chase segment, the first knight, and both sets of pawns. The remaining piece scores are as follows: 1st Rook: 6 to capture, +3 to exit; Bishops: 4 to capture first, +3 to capture second, +4 to exit; 2nd Rook: 9 to capture, +2 to exit (get it going back and forth between the top columns for an easy capture); 2nd Knight: 4 to capture, +4 to exit; and Queen and pawns: 8 to capture queen and two pawns, +7 to capture the remaining three pawns, and +5 for the black pawn to promote and end the game.
I'm curious to see if anyone can optimize this further.

I've always loved to play around in real life moving on tiles in knights move, this game was so much fun. Challenging, but rewarding and never felt unfair. Amazing game and amazing ending too.

I always could kind of visualize those squares the knight jumps to, so this was really fun to play! I do enjoy the great concept in this!

This is an interesting take on chess puzzles. took me a while to realize I was getting help in the end from my queen. Got lost once, but a restart made me realize there is a specific path to follow. Nice job on this.

This game is out of my league (at least in this mental state) but I REALLY love it, great idea, great execution, great fun <3 Keep up the great work, you have a bright future ahead cuties <3

Did I missed anything? the first bishop I met is guarding the only landing point on his board, I didn't attempt to go there but doesn't seems any way around that.

Fun game, though I had a small bug. I captured the enemy queen and pawns, freeing my own, but died to the king before my queen could save the day. I restart the fight, but my pawn is instead already a queen and goes on to kill the enemy king. Not sure if this is intended, but seems unintentional and I wanted to bring it to your attention.

Ow wow nicely done!!
I play a lot of chess, and I have enjoyed this game from the beginning till the end. Funny and cute!
Love the last part. Good job!!

Is the game supposed to save from session to session? I've come back to this twice after a couple of days to find out that I have to start over each time. The "Resume" and checkpoint options imply (to me) that the game saves your progress beyond just the current session. I don't see where it's spelled out one way or the other.

That was good. the only ones I had trouble with were those darn rooks. Even the queen went down fast. Though I killed her, died like an idiot, and then I was at the end but she had respawned. that was weird.
