There is no hope. Why bother, the sun will infinitely expand, no matter how far you run. . . Actually, considering the arc length never changes between a ~480px line secant to its surface. . the radius never changes, hence the sun cannot be expanding, leading me to believe it is chasing you through space.. Still, fantastic game! At first I wasn't impressed, but then the game became strangely addicting. This one should get a medium badge for acquiring all of the awards ;D

Apollo 13 to Houston- "Oh yeah, dont worry about the oxygen. I mean we'll just restart at the planet we launched from once we run out, no big deal."

There should be a button or key to blow up your ship automatically. For example, when you use the ship with extra fuel and know you missed and are going to run out of fuel and the sun will be past the planet you left from by that time, you should be able to blow yourself up to respawn on the planet to have a chance to keep going.

*narrowly avoids planet your not aiming for* "Thats ok, i wasnt aiming for it anyway. And look, im straight on course with this next planet! Man im gonna get so many points for landing on it!" *Gravity of missed planet pulls you to the side* "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!

if u launch your ship and the sun indicator turn green and u miss ur landing and fly off into the great unknown...ur already dead.

Enjoyed this game very much, but i think the "Breathtaking Flying" achievement might be broken.. I got all of the others, but the counter is still sitting at 0/10 (although i was almost out of oxygen several times)

I really hate how if you figure 8 from slingshots back to your launch planet you get no slingshot bonus points or credit towards the award. Also, if you manage to slingshot three or four times in one run, making a s shape, you only get one slingshot bonus and one credit towards the award.

I'm fairly certain you mixed up the oxgen abilities: The Golden Oldie, which is supposed to have larger oxy tanks has by far the highest depletion rate and thus effectively less range than the space marine, which has small tanks.

Well, I tried to hop from planet to planet in the hope that there would be a new home out there for my brave astronauts. They take risky maneuvers and several times, they are in life threatening situations where there are no more oxygen. Then my scientists realizes that the sun actually doesn't chase us if we just stay on Earth. Problem solved I guess..

A bit simplistic repetitive gameplay. More surprises and variation would improve the game a lot, as the basic mechanics are solid. If you then add something to learn… you know, more than just getting better at timing the launches, it would be a very neat game.
Dolphin Olympics still is the best in that aspect, that I've seen out there. Lots of neat surprises and variation, with a *very* exciting close-call each time you land. Those two things are what makes it so great.

Annoyingly addictive. Well done! Would be nice to have a self-destruct, but I can see why you didn't, makes you REALLY have to hit the planets!

I have maxed out all the awards now, except for the 'Breathtaking flying', it's 0/10. Can't manage to gain one point at it, altghough i've landed a few times as I had about 10-15% oxygen left. Furthermore, i can't see any difference between the ship with the larger oxygen tank, and the the one with the smaller one.

@eiuts When you mis-fire, with less oxygen, you have less time to wait before you respawn...and a better chance at getting your next launch before the sun consumes your old planet.
Of course, I'd much rather have more oxygen and go for the wild shot in the dark method myself :D

For a long time playing this game I was like "What is that 02? I got 2 bars of oxygen? Cool." I was always thinking that it was some feature I didn't know. Took me time to realize it's "O2".

Well the sun in neither exploding or expanding. It seems to just be chasing you down :/ That said, great gameplay for such simple mechanics, and only really needs a bit of polish on some of the awards (I hate awards for almost dying, and especially awards that you can't intentionally strive for)
