I found the precision required a bit ridiculous at times. Specifically, level 23 I believe, in which even after watching the walkthrough it was near impossible to get what seemed like down-to-the-pixel-accuracy right.
That being said, aside from that I enjoyed this game thoroughly, and will continue to try and get that last goddamn gold star.

I was playing the seventh level, when I shot the ball into an infinite orbit around the two planets, for like, four minutes, when it finally came down. I had enough time to grab a drink and get some snacks! :)

Because the physics of the game are inconsistent 'platinum mode' is useless and the game is a headache to play even with the sub-par indicator.

Personally, I think Funkypear should make a Gravitee Wars 2, mostly because golf is so boring and blasting spacemen into the far depths of space is quite fun ;)

The blue line tend to vanish for no reason and if the ball in the bottom of the screen, the "effect" panel will show up instead oh letting you play the ball...

I think the concept of this game is really cool, and I'd love to see it developed a little more. Some (picky) suggestions:
I agree that you shouldn't have to press 'start round' after you've already pressed try again. I also think the text takes up too much space (on the menu page and on the intro cards for each level). And I think it's a shame that you can't tell how impressive the physics are right away - the planets are very close together and the targets (pick ups etc) are very close to the surface of the planet, so you spend a lot of time trying to skim a very narrow path, then you accidentally shoot off and draw these impressive curves, and it makes me wish the big sweeping loops were the aim of the game, and not the little fiddly hoops.

The ball circles around a planet and bounces off of another one, but then does a complete 180 degree fall back to the planet. Weird Gravity. If you can't see your ball under the bar at the bottom just move the mouse around where the ball is supposed to be. It will turn from the pointer to the finger and you can click the ball through the bar and it will get out of your way.

So somehow for a sequel they have managed to ruin the physics, the gameplay, the menu, the whole setup in a sequel that should have been fairly easy to make well done guys.

I only played this game for the Physics Quest. I didn't like it. I got through half the levels and picked up 43 awards for random dumb crap. I wouldn't recommend it unless you enjoy ... gravity games? Thats kind of a small market base. This game is designed for people smarted than me.

I love this game! The only thing that isn't fun, is the fact that, like Flock55 said, in some levels you can't see the whole level, which makes it impossible to know what you're doing.

I have played this level time and time again. I have watched the walkthrough video and done just as it shows. If I am lucky enough to get it pixel-perfect enough to get the first set of pick-ups, then I still have to keep my fingers crosses that the ball with land in the right place for me to be able to take the second shot as is done in the walkthrough. And even then, even if it lands on the right planet, the position being in the same as the video is practically impossible, so I still have to fuŃking wing it.
I have enjoyed this game thoroughly, aside from this level, one gold star away from an achievement no less. I am highly disappointed that this fiddly, tedious, pixel-perfect-shots-or-you-fail level is in this game. It's ruined what would have otherwise, quite possibly, been a favourite of mine.
