3 Rows of Archers
1 Row of Walls
2 Rows of Spikes
1 Row of Freeze Traps
Then alternate between the Cannon and the Shot Gun. Nothing stands a chance. The Traps can deal with the Ogres, Skeletons, Ghosts, Orcs, etc. everything besides the Fire Elemental and Drakes. You may need to place extra walls. But with this set up you can beast the last level.

For the skill "Bow Focus",are you sure it is working? My bow just get a base damage 6,lv5 damage 11...and Lv5 Bow Focus deal 10% extra damage
By theory, Lv5 Bow+Lv5 focus is just 11*110%=12(.1)!? Are you kidding me?
In fact, the damage become 13~15 something, better then theory, but it still not worth 5 points.
"Each consecutive arrow that hits an enemy deals 2/4/5/6/10% extra damage up to a maximum of 30% (stacks with critical)."
Damage is rounded up, if you have upgraded that talent 5/5, the first arrow that hits will do 10% extra damage = 13. The 2nd arrow that hits in a row does +20% = 14. And so on up to a maximum of +30% = 15. And if you crit, it stacks, so you will get up to +30% on top of your crit damage.
If you click the little question marks next to the trap buttons, it will tell you a little bit about the trap. For the pit, it's "Kills any small enemies over it when open." So any Skeleton, Spider or Slime that walks over an open trap will die. They're a good last line of defense if you're having trouble with slimes hurting your base! :)

sorry but level9 is much more hellish than the last level (took me 5x to get the best result), i hard a hard time dealing with the flaming monsters, i tried dealing them with ice towers but its a waste of space.. max levels of skills btw.. so usually what i do is all spikes anywhere at the start cheap and helpful at the start of the waves since about round 1-4 are those little runners.. if have enough money you can start building archers, about 3-4 each row.. then at the last wave replace everything except the archers with barricades.. always replace destroyed barricades as much as possible don't let it reach your archers.. krolan's comment is right, the fire + ice + fire combo at dragons is a must to remember, kills them with that combo.. lightning strikes a lot of damage but cost a lot of mana, better save it for the dragons.. i prefer arrows as the main weapon.. nice game.. only weird thing is that my archers can't shoot that damn dragon XD

Well if you don't do it than I'll just do it, ''THE END''
Also using freeze traps work great with archers :) it allot of enemies get '' clubbed '' together so one lighting strike will hitt allot and you can focus more on the dragons when your first 1-3 rows are freeze traps for last level I used from left to right 4 freeze traps 1 barra 3 archers it worked great

The archers and knights could use a little more power. It seems the most effective trap is to just put spikes everywhere in the later levels.

I'm not sure if this is intended or not but the ghosts don't do anything to barricades. I've been letting some of them sit for up to a minute without attacking to see if they'd phase through or do damage or anything but they just sit there.
Looks like I broke the ghosts when I fixed a different bug. Sorry about that. They will now pass through barricades all ghostly like as intended. Cheers!

Great game, except nothing happens when I beat the last level. No ending, no boss. Also, it makes no difference whether you beat levels at 1 star or 3 stars.

I really enjoy these types of games, and I liked the art style of yours. But there is no real sense of accomplishment between levels, the coins should stay and not reset back to 40 on each level.

early wave calls should be rewarded coins, giants sohuld give more coins and they can be killed harder, cannon is brekaing game balance, with spikes and cannons level is completed easily so evel hardness should tend to player using other elements of game.I like art and sound. Now its good game, if gameplay is improvedi it will better much.good luck

1st row full upgraded freeze trap, 2nd-4th row full upgraded spike trap,5th row full upgraded wall and last 3 row full upgraded archers.(from left to right)I think the most powerful attack is cannon(3)>shotgun(2)>bow(1) because you just hold to shoot and keep click 321,321...in fastest beat, you can kill the orc by using 3 times 321: 2 times 321 for fire beast: 2 times 321 plus few bow for dragon and also you will kill many other enemies by cannon. I think it take a shorter time than using fire-ice-fire magic balls.

That was very anti-climactic. A decent game but i didn't feel very accomplished at the end, and the coin thing... I thought developers would learn from mistakes like these. 3/5

Not bad... lost a point from me for having to pick up the coins... I hate that in games. Even an upgrade that automatically picks them up for you would be better.

Nice game, but I think it lacks of a Final boss and and ending message.. I mean ok, I complete all the levels and then...nothing.
However is a good game and the music is sooooo good, 3/5 for me.

In "the last showdown" Wave 5 you really start to think after awhile "Will it ever end?" I think the Level ist pretty cruel, despite that I finished it on first try.
For anyone having trouble: I went with fully upgraded Archers in the first 3 rows to the right, shielded them with one row fully upgraded walls, and the 4 rows on the left I plastered with fully upgraded Spikes. I used the Mage Skill Tree for the most part. Don't forget that fire- and iceball are cheap and do tripple damage if the target is frozen/burning (Iceball for burning, Fireball for frozen). So switching back and forth will allow you to kill Dragons with 3 Magic Balls (fire-ice-fire). This applies to fully upgraded Magic-Tree :).
