"Commander I've summoned the army! Should I order all our units to storm the city?" "No, just send one man at a time." "But sir..." *commander flies off on a balloon*

Pretty interesting, but like others have pointed out, the execution is lackluster. Of all of the issues present, the ones that stick out the most to me are the excruciatingly slow pace of the game and the fact that the only way to achieve victory is through repetitive wars of attrition. Diplomatic options such as alliances or the ability to increase your regional influence via economics would be interesting additions that could break the monotonous pattern of Building your army --> Attacking --> Repeat. Also, I was a little disappointed that you could spy on cities, but were unable to do other devious things such as sabotaging their army/defenses or pitting two neutral cities against eachother to weaken them both and swoop in for an easy victory. The most obvious balance for such features would be that your plans could backfire and make you a target instead.

Trust me when I say this, and when everyone else says this. If you are going to make each city harder than the last, with increasing numbers going into the thousands, then at least make it so that each city you own can have possibly an upgrade to increase attack damage per ball, or maybe an upgrade to increase the amount of balls fired at once. You cannot just force us to wait hours just for a ball that does 1 damage to a city that has a ton of health, that will cause many of your players to ultimately quit as there is no point watching a poor animation of an attack. And even if multiple cities can attack the same target, note how while you might have 2 cities and you are attacking 1 city, the 1 city can shoot 2 balls at once, at each of your cities. Unfair much? I think so! Most if not all of the people who have played this game have the same opinion on this issue. Do not leave this unnoticed, do some type of change so we have the incentive to play.

I like the idea here, but the execution does not make me want to keep playing. The 'attack speed' upgrades are beyond useless at present and upgrading them actually hurts you thanks to the finite resources available. The attacking portion is also lackluster, as you attack a town after spying on it, and then you must wait for your ball to travel to the town where it will take away one (Just one) point from its health. You can build up a solid 1000 army and you will still wait for travel time of the ball to tick down the city, one by one, until it is under your control. That means you are going to be waiting an exceptionally long time to take over the larger cities for no other reason than because the developer said so. That said, I do like that as you capture cities, you can send an attacking ball from each one, giving at least SOME feeling of getting stronger as you progress.
You can send an attacking ball from each new city you capture, giving you a stronger attack as you progress.

Lost all progress since last load after a crash.
this means it doesn't save until/unless a proper shutdown/reload is performed. (which makes it fail at auto-saving)
The new update fixes auto-saving to run every minute.
