On second thought, the combos are novel. Unfortunately, the first 80 levels are too easy, so it's all but impossible to judge how well your combos are working until you're pass level 100 (and by then it's pretty much too late to change things).

this game is a very good tower defence, but for some reason I didn't win the challenge even when I killed 1000 icons and reached level 102.

The Black Hole combo is awesome (3 tazers + a green laser), but unfortunately you don't get any money for kills with it... So I'm at wave 150 and essentially not making any money for upgrades.

Yet another tower defense game and it's less interesting than its predecessors. I sailed through the challenge and the only part that was difficul was not falling asleep in the middle of the game. Zzzzzzzz....

Just another Tower Defense game. There's tons of this kind of webgame, I'm really tired, just because its the same concept aplied again, again and again...

way too addictive. the combo system is pretty sharp. putting 2 or 3 combos up is a lot more effective than filling the whole map with cheap turrets!

It's a great game, i just reached wave 138 in Inspired-Map. But I agree, after wave 120/130 the difficulty increases a little to fast. But all in all it's one of the best games I know. 10 from 10 points. :-))

This a lot better for more experienced players who want to try something more complex than DTD. Again, the rate of difficulty increases way too sharply. A more gradual incline would be better. That being said, a good game. Keep up the good work! 5 of 5.

very good game, lots of combos makes every time you play fresh and exciting. Only got to wave 127 but i will definitely try to get higher in the future.

this is one of the best turret defenses i've seen,lots of complex work in it. but it should be harder than it is in the first 100 and easier than it is after that,as it gets too hard too fast.

Without resorting to laser chains, I can usually get to wave 130-140. With laser chains I can get to about 235... if you manage to figure out a good way to do the laser chains, and get a good map it's far and away the easiest way to get past the higher levels. Pretty addictive game!

One thing I realized when my basic lasers were shooting when there was no one in range of them was that they can charge up a laser to make it stronger and that laser can charge another one. so i had like 4 lasers just charging and one shooting it was cool.

I like some of the ideas in this game - especially the possibility of forming combinations of towers adds depth to the game, and the map editor is nice to have too. On the negative side, the progression of toughness of the critters is really odd: the first 100 or so levels the critters are really easy to kill, and then suddenly they become ultra tough. There seems to be no gradual progression of difficulty for most of the game, but rather first long stagnation, then one huge jump, followed by a gradual progression in difficulty. Also, in-game the instructions left me thinking that only 2 tower combos are possible, whereas now that I looked at the detailed instructions http://onslaught.playr.co.uk/about.html the situation seems to be a lot more interesting, with a lot more possibilities!

Well, ive changed my mind about this game. IT ROCKS! yeah theres no music or sound effects which is gay, but once you figure things out its pretty cool. With the combos and all

the more i play this, the more i find it to be a bad game. the tilt is rediculous, i can hold back 85 waves with 1 tower (try for yourself) but if after level 100 you struggle to kill one baddie

Very nice and funny game :)) Reached Level 136, but then they were to much and to fast. I think I'll have to use another combo-combination for more, I had at the end 1 black hole, 1 Tazer BFG and 1 Posion Gas Rockets. ^.^

i really like it but its too graphics intense for my computer so when it starts speeding up i freeze up *sadness* all around i like though

Without using combos, (Even though I was using a Lighting combo) it's realllly hard to get past wave 120. The difficulty ramps up unbelievably fast.

Not a good difficulty progression - utterly easy for 70 waves, manageable until 105, and then... what do you need to do?
