A decent tower defense game, but the fast rate that you make money made it a little easy. It was fun, though, not up to par with Desktop Tower Defense. :P

Difficulty curve is too slow. A single $15 laser can easily take you all the way to level 75, then around level 100 it suddenly gets difficult. Also, the enemy design is terrible -- wtf? You have these sleek, cool menus and fun turret designs, then come these terrible enemy icons. The Area 51 base also looks like garbage.

Boring... if I wanted to play a defense map I'd load up Warcraft 3 and play Gem TD or the like flash defense games will never compete with the originals :P

I have to say, I like this one better than DTD, but it has to be a little more polished before actually competing to the best in his genre.

I really like this game, I feel there is a good system at work here. It has a few things I hate, like the difficulty curve between 105-135. I love the idea of connecting the towers for new features. I think the laser chain idea should be removed for the next version of the game, it provides too easy a cheat. Good luck with this ongoing and massive project.

I got to level 133, and noticed a HUGE change in difficulty around level 125, kinda weird...
Overall, it was a fun game and I give it a 5/5.

Really like this game. Though the difficult curve could be better, far too easy before 100 then quite hard immediately after.

Fun game. A few points that could improve it: it's a bit too slow at the start and then turns too hard too quickly around 120 levels. The special attacks would be even more fun if you could set the towers up to use the one you like. (If I got it right this is already in the making?) Atm it's often unclear - at least to me - how changes to the chain affect what special gets used... Thanks for the game Gaby. GJ!

Screw what most of these people say, THANK YOU FOR NOT PUTTING IN TOO MUCH SOUND! Listening to my soundtrack is way better than listening to tacky music.

Very fun game but it feels like it's still in beta in terms of balance, so it'll call for an improved re-release later on. The problem is that it's way too easy for a long time, practically all the way to 100, at which point it all of a sudden becomes impossibly difficult to get that much further.
Work on making it more progressively difficult as time goes on instead of just suddenly pumping up the difficulty massively around level 100.

i think this game should have gone though another revision before being featured. for instance, firefox can take up over 700mb of ram and 100% cpu when you have like 100 missles just sitting there circling the map. since everything early gets one-shotted theres a lot of missles that end up not doing anything after they are launched

Really addicting game, (the card challenge helped on that part :P) and I'll have to say getting the card was almost too easy. I played on the 'Incoming' map and it honestly was boring until about level 95 and up.

Awesome game! It's too easy to get to 100 and too hard soon after that, but still fun to try to work out different strategies.

best defense game I have ever played.
Sound would make it 3x better though, or I just can't find the sound button =/.

Ok I had flipped back there - But this is still in my opinion a bad game... I was just SO angry when the difficulty was killed by combinations, and the fact there was no damn music

extremly good game... Once I first played it I knew it would be the next challenge... haha very good work, I hope you make more games like this :D

Pretty Good Game Not So Good Graphics No Sound But Its Still Pretty Good Its Just The Upgrades Are Good But They Do Crap All AT High Level Enemys But Still For The 3rd Time Its Still A Pretty good game

Quite a good game. But the enemies are really hard to kill at higher levels(about 100+). It'll take more than 10 fully upgraded missiles with +100% damage to kill the.The rate at which the health went up was too high at higher levels. Not enought kind of tower. Some combos are too weak, such as the cannon misslt combo. The laser missile combo was quite good.
Moreover, it was a bit repetitive, but it goes quite fast. Add in bosses, etc or better towers. There were only 4 towers that did direct damage (that I found anyways), and the taser seems overpriced at the beggining. After level 80 or so, the game became laggy.
But in conclusion, it's a excellent game

fun game. Have to agree about mute button and difficulty jump from somewhere around 100 beeing easy and 125 get tough. also I seem to die beacuse combos stop firing.
Maybe if combos were weaker it would be a better play balance. I get to 150 now but all seems to depend on combos with reular fire power (even with +100% damage) does not look to kill very many.

great idea, needs some more work though on balancing turrets, and not so drastic a jump in difficulty from seriously easy up to 100 and then again to rather difficult after 120.

cool game, i always start of by building the "rocket bfg" combo (green, blue, red and another red) ..the game gets hard at level 125 ..but level 139 is my best

I like the game a lot. I do agree with most of what "petesahooligan" said in the July 5 comment. In particular, I would like to see some fun modes, such as starting the game with $10,000 or something similar. Once I get to a certain point (around level 70 ish) I have a hard time balancing out upgrades with new weapons. Maybe have the bad guys come out at the same rate though increasing difficulty, or at increasing rates between waves without increasing their armour. etc. There are lots of possibilities that could all lead to differing modes. Overall, I enjoy this game quite a bit.

One other thing. If I submit my score it bounces me out of the option to restart the game and necessitates a page refresh. Not that big of a deal, but still...an opportunity.

Seems like some great improvements to the TD genre. Here are some random observations/suggestions to circular file:
1. Hide-able snap-grid to help create a more orderly array of towers.
2. Modes of play that allowed a greater exploration of the game's depths without feeling like early decisions are going to nerf you.
3. Customizable tracks.
4. Mode that allows a set selection of towers rather than the level-based unlocks.
5. Toggled tool tips that show the bonuses for any given tower when you rollover it.
6. The option of directing an area of focus...a firing arc...for any particular tower (to better control what it should be protecting).
7. Better or customizable AI that encourages towers to fire at the leading creeps.
8. Better explanation for the different creep's resistances, if they are different.
9. Larger boards, more money, and other options that make the game easier and not soft-cap at L120-ish.

its an awsome game but wen ur tryin to open up wat wepeons u have it would be beter if u have 2 find the button to get it

Juonin, this is nowhere near a rip-off of other TDs. There are tons of TDs, going back as far as (maybe earlier) than starcraft. If Onslaught is a rip-off, then every other TD on the internet is as well
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Jounin... he's not ripping off the other Kongregate TD game. TD's did not originate here. I played my first TD in a warcraft 3 custom game probably 5 or 6 years ago, and they probably existed in starcraft before that, and who knows maybe they existed before that. They aren't new.

Great game. Although it is a bit easy at first (I regularly sent 4 waves at once till the late 90s) the addition of bonus towers and the ability to upgrade tower properties independantly makes up for it.
