Pretty Good Game Not So Good Graphics No Sound But Its Still Pretty Good Its Just The Upgrades Are Good But They Do Crap All AT High Level Enemys But Still For The 3rd Time Its Still A Pretty good game

Quite a good game. But the enemies are really hard to kill at higher levels(about 100+). It'll take more than 10 fully upgraded missiles with +100% damage to kill the.The rate at which the health went up was too high at higher levels. Not enought kind of tower. Some combos are too weak, such as the cannon misslt combo. The laser missile combo was quite good.
Moreover, it was a bit repetitive, but it goes quite fast. Add in bosses, etc or better towers. There were only 4 towers that did direct damage (that I found anyways), and the taser seems overpriced at the beggining. After level 80 or so, the game became laggy.
But in conclusion, it's a excellent game

fun game. Have to agree about mute button and difficulty jump from somewhere around 100 beeing easy and 125 get tough. also I seem to die beacuse combos stop firing.
Maybe if combos were weaker it would be a better play balance. I get to 150 now but all seems to depend on combos with reular fire power (even with +100% damage) does not look to kill very many.

great idea, needs some more work though on balancing turrets, and not so drastic a jump in difficulty from seriously easy up to 100 and then again to rather difficult after 120.

cool game, i always start of by building the "rocket bfg" combo (green, blue, red and another red) ..the game gets hard at level 125 ..but level 139 is my best

I like the game a lot. I do agree with most of what "petesahooligan" said in the July 5 comment. In particular, I would like to see some fun modes, such as starting the game with $10,000 or something similar. Once I get to a certain point (around level 70 ish) I have a hard time balancing out upgrades with new weapons. Maybe have the bad guys come out at the same rate though increasing difficulty, or at increasing rates between waves without increasing their armour. etc. There are lots of possibilities that could all lead to differing modes. Overall, I enjoy this game quite a bit.

One other thing. If I submit my score it bounces me out of the option to restart the game and necessitates a page refresh. Not that big of a deal, but still...an opportunity.

Seems like some great improvements to the TD genre. Here are some random observations/suggestions to circular file:
1. Hide-able snap-grid to help create a more orderly array of towers.
2. Modes of play that allowed a greater exploration of the game's depths without feeling like early decisions are going to nerf you.
3. Customizable tracks.
4. Mode that allows a set selection of towers rather than the level-based unlocks.
5. Toggled tool tips that show the bonuses for any given tower when you rollover it.
6. The option of directing an area of focus...a firing arc...for any particular tower (to better control what it should be protecting).
7. Better or customizable AI that encourages towers to fire at the leading creeps.
8. Better explanation for the different creep's resistances, if they are different.
9. Larger boards, more money, and other options that make the game easier and not soft-cap at L120-ish.

its an awsome game but wen ur tryin to open up wat wepeons u have it would be beter if u have 2 find the button to get it

Juonin, this is nowhere near a rip-off of other TDs. There are tons of TDs, going back as far as (maybe earlier) than starcraft. If Onslaught is a rip-off, then every other TD on the internet is as well

Jounin... he's not ripping off the other Kongregate TD game. TD's did not originate here. I played my first TD in a warcraft 3 custom game probably 5 or 6 years ago, and they probably existed in starcraft before that, and who knows maybe they existed before that. They aren't new.

Great game. Although it is a bit easy at first (I regularly sent 4 waves at once till the late 90s) the addition of bonus towers and the ability to upgrade tower properties independantly makes up for it.

Excellent Game, VERY VERY entertaining
I know I am gonna keep coming back to try and break my own record.
Current Wave 134 (1st Try)

the lagging kinda messes up my rhythm
the turtorial is only kind of helpfull
I will need to play this game much more though
even with all the mistakes it's still alot of fun

Good game, but it gets harder after wave 125. Some times the combos don't work, and don't know why. Maybe it's because this are still in beta stage, but i think this will become better

Well, damn. By Jounins point of view, every platformer in the world except Mario is a bad game because Mario is the most popular. STFU dude, this tower defense games are a genre, and this game is completely different. Don't compare this game to Desktop Tower Defense, this game is a game of it's own. If you don't like it, cool, but don't hate it because it's the same genre as DtD. In my eyes, anyone who is comparing this game to DtD in anyway is just being an ass. If you want to see a real rip off of DtD, go play this game. http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/382321
It's an exact copy, right down to the tower prices.

I looove this game, I am not that great at DTD and this is easier for me, not that it's easy at all but I caught on to this one faster. I haven't quite got the combos down yet, but I'm working on it. Great game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well, DTD isn't exactly the first "tower defense" game ever made either. Tower defense games are just fun to play (even if the concept isn't completely original). And this game's got some innovative stuff in it with the whole combo thing... don't think I like the complexity of it though.

I tells ya, I've seen some very bad games, yes some of then even suck to the point where the controls are broken, but at least they dont rip off ALL of my BIGGEST fans work... I'm afraid this is the worst game I've played.

And worse, NO FRIGGING MUSIC - Until I ended up switching on my WMP and listening to crappy orchestra music by beethoven... THATS HOW BAD IT IS!!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
0/5 This is basically tryin to rip off all of preceeps work - which really means a lot... Too easy to win, gets very boring very quickly, boost towers are way too hard to get, Not enough lives no combos = too hard, combos = way too easy - and very laggy too
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I enjoy Desktop Tower Defense, but this is so much better, because of the variations in range, damage, rate of fire that you can set up for each tower, and also the combos. It is deceptively easy for the first few waves, well after 50 in fact, but if you let yourself be lulled, you'll be wiped out before the 100th wave, and if you last that long, things get much tougher after that.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you place towers close to each other and max out their damage, you'll make combos. That makes way more than just 4 ways to kill the enemies. A full combo list is found at http://onslaught.playr.co.uk/about.combos.html

I'm sorry but this game kinda sucks. Theres no music, and surprising that counts for a lot. Its also so way to easy. I only have only rocket tower and its working everything

Yay 7th place on Incoming :D
Start building a blue & red one, upgrade red to full damage, upgrade blue to full damage. Then place a range modifier, and upgrade the range modifier itself to full range. Then build other combogroups around the modifier. Thats a great start at least ;)
Great, addicting game by the way, I like it even better than desktop defense. 5 stars!

Got to wave 161. I used a Blackhole combo near the front and a nuke combo halfway down and added on to each as I got more money. Awesome game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I played the first one from i-am-bored.com, and this one is even better! The combo firing towers are very cool and now I know how to make the combo I want come out because of the tutorial.

@L3viath3nt
1. Haven't most people learned that graphics aren't everything? Gameplay is important. 2. a. The enemies aren't the thing to focus on, as their health increases by 11.25% every wave. b. There is a pause feature, the button is in the bottom left corner. 3. Try getting to wave 175. If you play for 50 waves, you will think it is too easy. 4. There are many more combos then there is towers in DTD. Look at the how to play link in the description of the game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm sorry, but coming off of Desktop Tower Defense 1.5, there is no way I can give this game a rating higher than 3. DTD has it beat in almost every way:
1. It's graphics are more artistic.
2. It is more challenging in that...
a. The enemies vary in more than just appearrance.
b. There is no pause feature that gives you time to think.
c. There is no set path the enemies must travel, you have to create it.
3. The difficulty, or lack there of, in this game makes it boring.
4. There really isn't more than 4 towers in the game. All of the new "towers" you get are just upgrades for your towers.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
great game, brings a new breath into the defense genre, the difficulty might be a bit out of balance, but overall a great game which will satisfy every defense player.

pretty nice game, got to level 150 and then i got absolutely pwned. damn thats awesome sending multiple waves at a time was pretty cool
