i think i would be better if u could bank at any amount of points cause sometimes i have 3 dice used and only 200 points :(

the game isn't rigged, it's about math (the odds of rolling certain combinations of dice), like the lottery isn't rigged it's just hard to win, kinda like yahtzee but more fun

Fair or not, still not that simple to win, this game is 99.99% on the players end. But when Reckless beats you with 8 free rolls, it's kind of not all that fair. Go to Cautious and still losing in 2-4 turns, still not that fair, but meh, whether the computer is playing by the same random numbers as us or not, it's still a good game 4/5 stars

Completely agree with Mil. It's fun at first when you can play around with different strategies, but it gets old pretty quick, especially when your luck is bad. Especially when you can squeeze every possible point out of every roll, and still get mauled mercilessly and completely because of good computer rolls. And as far as badges go, it almost seems like the author didn't play their own game enough. Without refreshing, I feel like some could take months.

damn i must be so unlucky, on easy and i get a single 5 and the next roll i get zilch, then the cpu gets like 3 free rolls consecutivly

The game itself is very aptly done, but it's let down by the gameplay. Saying it involves great skill (and a little luck) is pretty dishonest; the author must surely realise that luck is by far the biggest factor, and there's not much skill to master. Being on the bad side of a PRNG streak gets frustrating quickly, then boring because of how little recourse you have. Hopefully the author learns from the flaws of this game and applies his abilities to create something more entertaining.

Oh and ferret, IIRC, when this game first came out the hard badge was an impossible with all 120 awards. I think they downgraded it at some point.

@Zapados its actually very easy to get, it just takes a while. Play cautiously against a reckless computer. Whenever you zilch or are about to lose, refresh the page.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Some of the awards are IMPOSSIBLE to get. 5 CONSECUTIVE wins with NO ZILCHS? Dude that's impossible no matter how good of a "FARKLE" player you are!

Reckless is easy to beat however the catch is that he's, well, reckless. Let's say he's only got 1 die left to roll. Cautious would of course keep the points but reckless may roll. There's a 33% chance on a single dice roll that you'll get a 1 or 5 so there's a decent chance that he'll get the free roll but more often than not he won't.

People can whine all they want, the system is completely random. No algorithms or logirithms can be made out of this, besides the point scoring system. The computer does not get "better" rolls than you, you just make extremely poor choices in points, or just have terrible luck. If you want to spend $500 to get a professor to take a crap-load of data from this game and tell you the same thing I am, go ahead. It's random. Don't like high risk/high reward, don't play.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
is it just me or are the odds of getting stuff in the game types different? cause i seem to get a lot more higher rolls in reckless than cautious.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's not rigged, you just probably suck at math -_- . I'm not just saying that because i have good luck, i mean the reckless got a total of 6700 in one turn. However, I know that's the play style, maybe there shoudln't have been difficulty settings and just the different types which give instructions on play types.

How about you stop making excuses? Try actually calculating how often things should happen and then see how often they do happen. Does Reckless often get big scores? Yes, the whole point of its playing style is high risk, high reward. Reckless also does things like get 8-10 zilches in a row.

This game such a rip off. Reckless is harder then Cautious. Yes, it's rigged. Don't be so arrogant with your probability nonsense, rwpikul.. No one likes arrogance.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the random mechanism should be revised, my opponent keeps on getting free rolls and I have to be happy with single ones and fives?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I hate it that people keep on claiming it's rigged. It's just a way of putting the control in someones hand, instead of there being no control at all.
You know the fun part is that the code for the probability actually works with time, so waiting a bit for a chance, influences what you get. For the better or the worse, that's not to be known, because you can't do it again.
Probability also is simply the CHANCE of it happening. It may be a small chance, but it still is possible. Like the scores of 5k or more in 1 turn, that's massive, you would nearly have to get 6 ones to get that score in 1 hit, and even though it's highly unlikely you'll ever get it, it's still possible ;)
Blame probability, faith or even God, but don't blame the creator for spending time in developing 3 different kinds of AI instead of rigging it.

He doesn't pick two fives, he picks only one. You can either choose one of the offered banking options or select the dice yourself.
