Too. Friggin'. Long. Seriously, every level in the latter half takes 15+ minutes - after the first boss the game isn't even challenging, it's just an endurance test. Shoot gun, mash some support calls, occasionally plant a new turret, repeat for 5 hours. And of course the Impossible badge makes you do that THREE TIMES.
The only thing sadder than that is how despite the literally mind-numbing boredom of it, I keep playing. Stupid badges preying on my completionism...

Easy is just spamming specials and buying fun stuff to go idle, elite is way more fun. Upgarde the flak, worry about other stuff later and kick some ass!!!!! 5/5

This game is concentrated agony in Flash form. Dreary graphics, repetitive and boring gameplay, unnecessary length, and an utter lack of variety. It's like standing in a pool and holding a beachball underwater... FOR WEEKS. IN THE RAIN.

Chilibrot is almost right. You actually have to get 1,200,000 points total to get the secret mission to show up. While getting that many points will require you to get 5 stars on all five missions, you can get 5 stars on those missions and NOT have that many points. Hope this helps!

Does anyone have a video (or screenshots) of the 3 covert bases? I have 2 or them... 1 in the beginning then what looks like a place for the 2nd one and then I have what I think is the 3rd one but not sure. I just need know what bases I need improve the score on to get it to show up.

So what is the criteria to getting a 5 star rating in a level? Is it just a certain score per level? If so how do you maximize you score in a level? Do we need to put points in the "Balloon Blast Score Gain"?

i thought it was alright...but im not gonna attempt badges for this, at least not today. i saw how far you scroll over on the map before you get to the end...and i was like, no friggin way.

I'm enjoying the game but I wish you could bring the next wave forward and increase enemy speed to get things going a bit more. I'm not sure I'll make it to the end of the game, the game is a little too easy which is making it a bit boring. Love the idea though...

This game is good for what it is, but that doesn't mean it's great. The game (and the badge) would be much better if Fuel of War wasn't there. If you've beaten the game on Elite, you're going to have no problem beating this version. The game takes way too long to complete a lvl. Some of this is necessary for difficulty progression, some of it is just painful. You really need a continuous fire option...

Someway the game could improve would be to make the projectiles explode on impact with the balloons, not flying past them and exploding where you click
