Because Me_Godzilla sent me a shout on the matter, I will come back here to reply: On high rated games badges are usually added. This will likely be no exception. As far as incomplete demos, this and other games are being shoveled on to Kong with missing features, making them incomplete demos of the full version. This is quite annoying. I think I should take this to the forums though. The only responses I am getting here completely comply with the Penny Arcade Greater Internet F%#$wad Theory.

AesPir as I said before this isn't an incomplete demo! And TD's all have their own little twits to them. The reason people keep making them is because people find them fun.

The only thing that is blocked off are the gem bomb upgrades, and if you're using those that much then you're going to lose anyway.

Oh that changes that the game is totally unoriginal and uninteresting.
I don't get what you people see in these TD games. They are all exactly the same. It angers me to see another one getting such high ratings. And I wish they would keep these incomplete demos off of Kong.

Been waiting so long for this game and it didnt disapoint. brilliant was wanting to know how they could make a sencond and be better and they did it. 5/5

dtknight1 is right Gem Craft and Sonny are nothing alike to compare them with. This was a great game and as for it being am upgrade from the first its similar and changed for how it should be.

You can't compare a Turret Defense game with an RPG... GemCraft and Sonny are nothing alike, and cannot be rated as such.

Just the mere fact that this game is FREE and it has SO many additional improvements from the last game means it gets a 5/5 from me. The premise to start with is awesome, but all the changes really make for a more time-consuming and enjoyable game. The debate between Sonny and Gemcraft is silly. Different games, different expectations. Don't rate a game 1/5 just because you want another to rate higher- rate a game on the merits, and on the effort involved.

sonny vs. gemcraft is idiotic. I, personally, prefer sonny because it is more of my style (rpg), but I'm not going to rate Gemcraft 1/5 for that reason. I gave sonny a 5/5, but even though I don't like it, but I gave Gemcraft 5/5 as well because of all the idiots bringing the rating down. Eh, I just don't like TD games. Oh well, time to go play sonny.

The Sonny Vs. Gemcraft thing is stupid for the fact that both games are completely different in terms of gameplay. If both were heavily similar in terms of gameplay then maybe I would see why people would want to do this, but it seems just silly at this point. Both games are fun.

gemcraft feels beter in sonny in many different ways like for one variety, 7 diferent 'maps' on sony like a hundred on gemcraft?
unlockable content on gemcraft, heroic completed giving new levels, remards for repeating levels in more than exp terms which is all sonny offers, but stil i like sony and i like both so i gave both 4/5. why do people feel the need to chose between when u can have both.

It's one thing to rate a game low because you don't enjoy it, its another to say "Everyone vote zero on gemcraft, sonny should be higher", something i saw on several comments on sonny.
Both are good games, albeit overrated (which is more is your own opinion).
There's no need to go on crusades to show your love for a game. Developers would probably ban you from playing their game for that, due to idiocy, if they could.

The whole sonny vs. gemcraft thing is just, in my opinion, rediculous. Just because you like one game better than the other, it doesn't mean you should give the other a 1/5. That's just unfair to the designers. And flaw, as for more content being on armorgames, again giving it a 1/5 here is just.... wrong. It's armorgame's choice to do that. (I may be wrong about that)

I admit it, I started this game expecting, almost wanting to hate it.
I love it. It is absolutely sublime, and deserving of how high a rating it has. 5/5 no doubt. This game has, and will continue to consume hours of my time.

the idea with the different kinds of the same lvl is funny....but there are basically only 4 good modes: normal, infinite, instantkill, and strong+leader.....you dont need that many different modes ^^ but thats only my opinion......and this game is like 4 times harder than the 1st part....but not unbeatable! 4.5/5 if thats possible xD
