Game is a huge step down from the last one. Gems are very weak, giants have too many hit points, and I honestly liked the simpler graphic and tile set of the other games. This game lost a lot of that charm with the "upgrades". Guess it doesn't matter as Game In A Bottle is no more anyway.

Since Kong doesn't allow editing of comments: Yes, V17 is the best core farm. It's quick, easy once you know how to do it, and like I said before, gives between 400 and 500 cores. I know cores aren't all that useful at high levels, but still, an extra SP after every two or three runs isn't a terrible deal, and you can run it at any level, since it's a vision level.

Pro Tip: Keep all your skill points and only put them in after you get 2000 bonus mana. This'll help in the early game greatly.

Guys, guys, look at the little advertisement in the main menu! You can buy this game on steam and get new content like fullscreen mode! It only costs 10 bucks and I think we can all agree that GC easily snubs AAA games :Ü™

I have all fields completed in hextiles F , J , H , D , K , B and N but hextile G doesn't appear... Do i have to start all over again and pray to G to appear?

fun facts: 1/2 once you really figure out the game, you don't need the pouch. 2/2 I hope you DID buy the very cheap pouch before you figured it out, because it's nice to give a little back to the awesome devs who created this wonderful timesucker of a game :)

Sorry, but this is a real left down from the original. First off...it is SLOOOOOOW. Not just the game play (which yes, you can speed up, but that is not the same), but also loading each level. And second, this takes the originality of the original and turns it into just another tower defense game, with choosing your towers and upgrading. And finally, it suffers the same thing so many great flash games suffer when they started going after the mobile audience. Goes for style over substance.

Can we opt out of the Magician's Pouch on a character, while still owning it on other characters? I guess I could play from a different user account without logging in, but it would be nice not to have to.

The game is HARD, but in the good way. It's not a game that you'll finish quickly (for me, at last), but has so much stuff that it's not repetitive (same goes for the other GC games). Vision fields are a cool thing (the first one i thought was impossible, until i realized that you just had to use bolts as soon as they are up to deal with the huge amount of giants with ridiculous armor), the new starting mana system was confusing at first, but I got the hang of it.
Overall, great game, days of game time, limitless fun (and frustration, sometimes), even w/o magician's pouch.
∞*/5* and ♥ from me.

Another great gemcraft game, absolutely loving it. Graphics are spot on, sound is purely amazing, gameplay addictive as always. One thing though, I've looked everywhere, can't seem to find an option to go fullscreen. THAT would really be nice, so that I can stop squinting at my screen, dim the lights, sit back and enjoy the game's atmosphere even more. 5/5

And that is how you make a good game.. And the one-time payment is very fine. 50 kreds is almost nothing, I will surely pay for it, like i did in Gemcraft Labyrinth..
In other games on kong, ask for money every minute or so..

my only qualm is that, as you get later into the game is with those "jumpscare" premonitions specifically the one that makes not able to do, well, anything. i wish youd atleast able to toggle the speed when your "cursed" since its really annoying if your stuck on normal x1 speed and have to wait so long for it to wear off
excellent game nonetheless
