Numpad hotkeys? no ability to switch hot keys? lol, bro do you even laptop? i'm not playing on Windows 95 and I'm certainly not using a full keyboard. lolololololololololol

I wouldn't mind paying for some extra things but i was really hoping endurance mode would be free. that is IMO the best part of the game.

I love the gemcraft series, I could play this for days. Incredibly deep and nuanced gameplay, as usual. But now you allow clipboard saves? YES. THANK YOU.

what the hell is with all the giants? damn i can't make any progress because why not throw an absurd amount of giants that just don't die regardless of amplifiers and gem upgrades
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yes, how dare a Game dev attempt to make money. How dare they also let us choose to play the game for free instead and still make it perfectly playable and beatable. Those jerks.

Are you kidding me? SAVES are not server side? I just lost EVERYTHING because I cleaned a bunch of temporary internet files. WTF

This game was really fun until it suddenly jumped in difficulty by way too much. Obviously It's a method to make you buy a bunch of extra stuff. BUT is is so much fun i almost spent Kreds on it.

@quirri and anyone else with spire issues. i the map has poison available, USE IT. set the gem to target spires b4 anything else. poison completely ignores the max dmg the spire can take with each hit. use beam on the poison gem too if u can. makes a mess of any spire

sorry, but sometimes this game is really unbalanced. even if you are level 90, fighting your way through 60 waves (uff, almost done...) and then being presented a spire with 600.000 hp (f... you!) is really unfair. i fought my way through it for some weeks now and the challange just keeps rising to "frustrating".

I have bought this on Steam and on Armor Games (two very different versions) so I haven't decided whether to buy this or not, or if I even need to. Probably most others feel similar... Gamestop dropped the ball by not getting this game earlier, (probably because it's not a pay-to-win MMO.)

@samegerilja: Hit the "b" on your keyboard, then select the gem you want to bomb. Use the left click of your mouse to click and HOLD the gem, then pick your target and left click again. Rinse. Repeat. Enjoy

Am i the only one who does not get the gem bomb to work? Isn't it just holding shift and click b or the gem bomb in inventory? For me it does not work. And i need it to work on some levels to demolish walls.

i MAY have gone too far with endurance. running on haunting diff, alrdy earned 13 MILLION xp, and the monster hp lvls have gone to scientific formulas(example: monster hp: 4578 e12)

great tip for those having issues. once u get enough achievements in game, reset em. gives a bonus of 120 skill points at the cost of losing all achievements and the skill points u got with em. but u can get em all again anyway so.....

Amazing game. I still rated a 5 even though this was probably an isolated incident, but on field v4 after all the waves were destroyed and the shadow was destroyed, it said I had 3 monsters still attacking. So I've waited it out for about 5 mins and placed gems in towers around the field to see if a monster glitched off the path somehow, but to no avail. As I said, probably an isolated incident, but I thought I'd want to let you know.

I love Gemcraft. It's always been my favorite tower defense game. That being said, I'm very disappointed that they now have buy-to-play features. To me this is a sell out move and any game that employs this tactic is trashy.

For some reason the game doesn't start. I tried on the armor games site and it perfectly works, i don't know if it's my pc or not but i don't think.

@ Muskar: You make great points that I concede. Thank for the well thought out comments, have a great day yourself. :)

@sillybizz I understand. There are many people who are highly reactive and exaggerate their frustration into inconsiderate arguments. In my experience, it greatly varies how much people think about what they say, and I wouldn't expect that to change from the general population. So when I read a comment that curses a game and almost blames the company for fraud, I just hear someone overwhelmingly frustrated saying that they don't like the game, without truly saying what's making them so frustrated. It could be something totally unrelated to the game. Humans are naturally irrational like that. As you probably know, I just wanted to point out that even though many people may be unreasonable in their argumentation, there are still reasonable arguments for disliking kreds-features while also respecting the developers. I don't think it's fair or constructive to generalize. Anyway, thanks for listening, have a great day.

@Muskar: Thank you for responding and I see your point and understand why someone feels that way. My problem is when someone dismisses the game as some sort of a money making scheme. Vacuous one line comments about how the game "sucks" because you 'have' to pay are quite annoying. The game can be played and beaten without buying anything. I have no problem with someone saying what they want but it would better received with a little more thought and tact than what I have read so far.

@sillybizz I see comments like yours everywhere. Why is everyone so tense about taking sides on this topic? Why is it so important to be pro-or anti-kreds content? There's many ways to make money, and this is just one. Why is it so wrong to dislike an aspect of something that you otherwise love? Feel free to discuss business models, but the reality is that many people don't enjoy this one. And I'd personally rather pay for a game (or donating) than have microtransactions that unlock actual gameplay (but I think it's great for vanity content). Other people have different views. It's just feedback, and I'm sure developers care about the feedback.

The developers put their time, money and hard work into a FREE game to make it great for us to play and then they add one little OPTIONAL thing into the game to recoup some of that time, money and hard work which they they deserve and people complain, WOW.
