The magician's pouch seems pretty sweet to me. I played the game, and enjoyed it, for several hours; then decided the author had *easily* earned the $5 pouch with the hundreds of hours of development that must have gone into this series. It's awesome that you let us play for free (but still give perks to anyone who donates).

Good game, but very hard to grasp when you first start. There is way too much information, overwhelming. I think a more detailed tutorial would be good.

I don't know if anyone else is aware of this, but I just found out. You can adjust the range of your gems, while they're in a tower using your mouse wheel.

It would be nice if you could un-call every wave. Sometimes, I start an endurance match with like 105 waves, and I accidentally call all of them while gem bombing at wave 17. If you could "undo" that real quick, that would be nice!

Had fun, always impressed at the improvements made between each game in the series. A shame the third difficulty is premium locked though, kinda don't feel inclined to challenge this game anymore knowing that I can't reach the hardest mode... If steam version can import save from here, I'll consider getting it.

Since playin again a map is a must in this game, there should be a counter to show how long you have not played a map. Visually you could grow ivy or trees around the maps you have not visited for a long time...

Every time i successfully beat a shadow i suddenly get a massive boost in my excitement. It's like the best thing ever to best these demons.

TDs arent really my thing nowadays, and it starts slow, but its pretty fun once you get beyond a certain point. The enrage thing really makes all the difference. :P Atmosphere is fantastically eerie, with the music and especially with the forgotten... even when I was expecting her I still got a jump. Regarding the pouch, well... some pretty good gem skills are put behind it but you don't need it to obliterate the regular game. I'd honestly tell people to go buy the steam version rather than get the pouch though.

These Vision Fields are honestly crafted perfectly. Not impossible, but certainly unbeatable without strategies that can't usually be learned by XP grinding.

I got the Steam version for the full screen, but I'd like to better know when Achievements are out of my reach here on Kong. Please work on highlighting which cannot be completed by sectioning off the Paid achievements. The skills and fields are locked, the achievements need to be as well, and should be tracked separately. ie Haunting, Locked Field C1-5, Trait related Swarming, ect.

Anyone know why I can't see settings in my game anymore? I mean, when I click on a gem I can't see the damage, hits, kills, etc. When I click on a building or monster I can't see the hitpoints. Etc...

Guys, vision fields are not impossible, they just typically can't be beaten with traditional strategies and require better timing when upgrading gems, using spells etc. I love the challenge that the vision fields add--I know that if I lose, it's not because I need to go back and grind or because the combination of my skills is wrong, I just need to use a different strategy or execute it better. I'd hate it if all the levels were piss-easy or could be beaten just by throwing more XP at them.

You should know:
Bolt/Beam refresh your gem combination and upgrade cooldowns, exploiting this with careful use of the pause (space bar) and pulling multiple waves is the key to Chasing Shadows.
If your Gem is about to be stolen by a Purple Specter you can pause the game, place the gem in your inventory or another tower and let the Specter steal a level 1 gem instead.

please gameinabottle, leave this game series alone, your "additions" are actually subtractions, the series is great, but with each release it drops lower and lower and this isnt even just opinion, it has been dropping slowwing at the release of new games (games are in order in the list)

That to my mind is a key feature.
Sure skills and upgrades and stuff could be pay for(although I do hate even that) but disappointed in the developer for locking endurance

Winning Gemcraft games really sucks. I keep being told that by winning the game I have unwittingly unleashed evil and darkness upon the whole world.

If your carrying a and combining a gem while a beacon is simultaneously destroyed the gem drops and sits on the path. Bug... i think.
