One of those rare, rare games where I actually felt like I wanted to buy premium content. Not only that, the premium stuff doesn't present any sort of distinct advantage to the buyer and only serves to make an already amazing experience even better.
A much deserved 5/5.

"Shift" isn't modifying anything for me in the game at all. I'm glad I was able to gain access to extra gem types after noticing the Shift-relevant option in the menu. Limits a few features, but still enough to have fun.

Great tower defense game. The premium does not get in the way of fun in the game, and is very cheap if you get addicted to switch to. Reliable saves (sometimes it just doesnt) and temptation to be greedy on levels are the biggest problems.

I remember I played this game on my old PC and it lagged a lot huge levels. But now my new PC handles this like diamond and I love this game :)

Dont try to get too high grade gem : a single trap lvl 27 with 6 ampli lvl 27 is enough to beat wave 1337 with all setting on (75x multiplier).

Why does the mouse-over information sometimes disappear during battles? It doesn't come back either ... really annoying on endurance mode...

@Maron43: Game is auto-saved at the end of every battle. You can't save during a battle, so make sure you have plenty of time before starting a field.

In addition to NaturalReject: Once you hit the HP cap, all you have to do is upgrade your gem/s a couple more times, then send all waves at once. Test with sending 2/3 waves at a time to check you can handle it first, but once you're ready, let them all come. Then sit back, relax, and wait for the final wave and for you to get that ton of experience and levels :P Also try to complete the battle amulets with your surplus mana while you wait.

@superancetre, the monster starting hitpoints is capped at 3.3 billion, it's not a bug. If you turn on "waves getting tougher faster", it's 9.9 billion instead. You can still raise that number by angering though.

I dont know if it's a bug but when i reache waves 215 and + in giant monster only in one of the first level, the monster never get more than 3.333.333.333 health

@nuckyducky: I think that's part of the game. Those little orbs attract your firepower, but take no effort to destroy. That's how they pose a threat. Imagine if you could target them at will... now it's just so much easier. A good tactic for countering the little orbs is to place several groups of towers across the map with G1 gems in. Now, wherever the shadow is, your G1's will be close-by and can destroy many little orbs as they spawn, before your main towers start targetting them. And always keep in mind; The Shadow is a boss, it's not supposed to be easy to defeat ;)

Does anyone know how to change the attack priority so it doesn't attack the little orbs over monsters right next to the orb when playing in shadow clash? The main reason I'm losing is because my main gem seems to always focus the little balls instead of "closest" to orb.

build trap mana + chain as soon as possible before your trap chain + multiple + mana on the maze.
Get a 7 000 000x at wave 120 this way with 600 000 000 000 mana pool.

Orangatuan, armored only, x1, +15 waves, and summon like hell brake loose (200/wave is doable with G7 L/Y right at the start)

@Orangatuan: There is a set amount of times you can destroy a wall. Without premium, this is three. Juggling is not a good strategy... I would recommend you set all monsters to armored in the battle settings if you struggle with giants.

Is there a limit to the number of times you can destroy a wall? As I was juggling the last giant monster then it stopped letting me bomb the wall.

Endurance maxed. 3,333,333,333 hit points each creature. Gem level 22 and 8 amplifiers with triple damage, chain hit and mana gain. I can play literally till infinite...

I got the last badge for this game in March of 2012 and then moved on. Yesterday I decided to take another look. I wiped out my saved game and started from scratch. And, yes, I'm hooked again.

Banishment is how many mana points you lose if that monster goes through your magic orb. The monster reappears at the start of the map.

Rodice, you can't access them because you need to beat a certain field with a certain challenge that is only available by buying premium.
