I forgot to mention, that the Cyan gems (shockers) are fairly useful in the last level, keep them apart from each other if you have more than one as the best way to do this level is to spread the useful gems apart. Maybe a poison or two aswell. Though the gems you will start with and create are totaly random unfortunatly.

Alright well here is my little guide to the last boss. First of all the 49 waves before him are easy, just your average level etc. Take care of them with the level 6 gems you have while increasing your mana pool every time you can. Once you get to about 100,000 mana, start creating level 6 gems and place them near the begining and down the right hand side of the level. Don't forget to make some trenches. Once you get to about wave 44-45 stop building and save your mana, the boss costs 7080 mana to banish, if you save your mana from wave 44-45 you will rack up about 24,000 mana, therefore banishing him three times. next, make sure you have a few purple gems near the begining, and if you can't afford them, bash the 'C' key and click the level 1's, you're bound to get some purples, place these around the level to chip away at his armour. And that is about it. I completed this because I expected the last boss to be stupily hard. with 140,000+ health... It is rather Epic after all.

I don't understand i win the last part and win all battles with glowing frame score but i can't win the end of the road badge is it possible? is there another part in the game that i can't see

To fractalman: In my opinion, the poison only level is the toughest so far (I have completed 28 maps so there may be harder ones to come.) I would think it must be very impressive to beat that level without spending any skill points.

To wabash500, this is the order of which I always put the available gems per map starting from spawn point to end point: steal mana, reduce armor, splash/chain hit, triple damage. Slow/shock can go any part of the map. I find it to be effective as you gain a lot of mana throughout the game to help support your other costs. The triple damage is at the end to kill any that leak by any strays that got through as it has the highest single target damage potential.

believe it or not, this is one of the easier tower defence games available. the hardest level-the first epic-can be beaten with no skill points spent.

@Wakahoola, For each epic boss, it is best to increase your mana pool untill about 10,000 mana points, by the time wave 28-29 comes along, don't use any mana, most bosses take at least one banish before you can kill them due to their masssive health.

Mobs are automatically banished back to the start location when they get to the exit. Click the mobs to find how much they cost to banish. You can't do it manually.

Wakahoola: Get many towers with lv.3 gems over few towers with higher level gems (though at one point you need to upgrade). And you should save up mana for one banish.

Very addictive game 5 stars from me. It gets progressively easier but allows to to push the limits of how much further than the high-score you can actually go. My kids are hooked to this game too =o!

pure gets a large bonus to attack, 2color gets less, three gets none, so yes the gems are stonger if they are pure. keep in mind, though, that good mixing of status effects on the same gem may more than make up for the loss of raw power.
