This game still holds up. Well designed, from the tumblers to the sequences to pick up. Challenging but fun. Really underrated.

it is good to have diversity in the games that are released on kongregate. and this is a really good game between the other games. 5/5

If you're not doing well at Reeelz, then you should listen and refrain from "Taking all the easy combos at once. Resist the temptation."

Thanks for the list, Jaels! Using that list, I made the following image to make step decisions even easier: http://i581.photobucket.com/albums/ss259/eepiccolo/Reeelz.png

@thegreenrobby Actually it is the opposite as it says nothing 'but' calories, meaning only cheese, sandwich, coffee and plant.

PROTIP: It IS possible to get high scores exceeding the final token limit. You can do this when earning bonus tokens on any 10th combo, although it can be tricky to end a game with such a score. (And exceeding the limit early on is NOT recommended.) For best results, save the easiest combos until the very end, if you can.

Just found this game, and spent 1 happy hour playing it. A minimal game that requires some brain and strategy. Fascinating and Addicting.

@crypto1337, have you played the game for more than 30 seconds? It takes strategy to decide when to take which combos, and how many credits you can afford to use at any given point. Luck is a factor that can be minimized by making the right calls. That's how you're supposed to play it.

A line through a symbol means that you can have *none* of that symbol showing.
I had a good time: maxed out tokens when I won the 150-card deck, thanks to the strategy hints. I found one bug: the matching for "nothing but calories" is computed incorrectly; it often shows up far higher on the list. I've seen it at about 3/4 match with only one reeel qualifying.

I'd appreciate a better view at "how much spare tokens do I need for highest rank" rather than just your record. Especially once they implement a hard "get all highest ranks" badge.

@Cynical2: Try playing the game, for a start. Oh, and ACTUALLY READING the instructions when playing through the first deck also helps.

Do not listen to people who say "+ FOR BADGES" because it's not greg's fault. The devs didn't give the game Kongregate API, which allows people to get high scores and badges. Hopefully we can finally stop all of this stupid behavior...

Really great game :D the harder difficulties actually ended up feeling easier to me tough... (maybe because I only realised on the 90 card level that I could lock slots in place...) 5/5 ^^ would love to see an extended version, with upgrades, bonuses, and whatnot

There are no badgers because the game doesn't have the Kong API. You can tell this because there is no highscores tab, just 'more games'

Wow! A luck-based game which isn't competely infuriating and which you can actually enjoy playing?! I thought these didn't exist!

this is an awfully good game i have absolutely no clue why it doesn't have badges. I would grind this game for hours no second thoughts.

This is a great base, and I'd love to see the game expanded. For instance, certain combos can add a symbol or a reeel -- or perhaps eliminate a symbol that's no longer needed, which could help later in the game. Let some combos give you one-time special capabilities, such as buying a particular symbol in a specified position, or altering a game parameter.

Very nice game! Took some time to get used to it (reels spinning the "opposite"way, in particular), but it's quite addicting, and it's implemented quite well. Normally I hate luck games, but this one is more skill than luck, very well done!
